Was Jerry rich?

Was Jerry rich?

yeah he was a yuppie

not as yuppie as the fuckers on friends though

he was a single guy in a rent controlled building that he got in when new york was shit and cheap

it was a plot point early on how he had more money than elaine and george

yep, that crappy apartment costs $5000 a week due to its location.

INDEPENDENTLY WEALTHY ON AN UPCURVE BUT STILL SLUMMING IN A 1BR

He has a 3,000 dollar computer on his desk. That's in late 80s money.

Yes, or at least well off.

Elaine got an apartment in the same building for $400 a month

it's rent controlled

he's a pc gaymer

HOLD ON, do you not realise this is based on Jerrys real life.

he buys his parents a Cadillac, ffs.

he had all those checks from his nana and those jap royalty checks

all you faggots are forgetting that elaine splooged her pants when she saw how much jerry was making, so yes, of course he's rich

>I can't wait until they get playboy on this thing

>>or hustler, right ...

>Kramer, they're not going to let people send images like that over the phone system

Of course, they were / are rich user !! Seinfeld is story on the class of wealthy ppl mind their own business, literally doing nothing all day. Just check fully grown ups goofing off every episode (*¯艸¯)

That was a Mac IIRC.

he's a stand up comedian who gets paid $250 for 10 minutes of stating the obvious, they guys rolling in it.

Of course, he's a jew.

I’ve seen homeless Jew in NY !!!

those must be paid actors

>rent controlled
?

They city gives a max on what you can charge for rent. It makes cheaper rent, but causes housing shortages and higher rent to those not rent controlled.

>google.com
?

Elaine never lived in Jerry's building.

I think he was on the higher end of upper middle class. He was a working comedian, but I don't think he could afford not to work.

He had the advantages of being single, no kids, and living in a rent controlled building.

He had a few nice cars and watches, but never anything too ridiculous. Or maybe he was just frugal? He did buy his parents a brand new caddy, but he couldn't afford to get everyone the "Wizard" electronic organizers.

I think Kramer was independently wealthy. He lived in the same building, but never worked.

Fun fact: Julia Louis Dreyfus has a greater net worth than Seinfeld.

im pretty sure there was an episode where the apartment was offered to her in jerry's building. if i recall correctly, george got involved and they had a big fight over it

She was going to move in to the building though. The apartment she was moving into was an old lady's who had lived there since the 40s. This combined with it being rent controlled like many have said already would have made it cheap as fuck.

>apartment opens up above jerry
>he finds out it's cheap
>tells elaine about it when she complains about her apartment
>she wants to move in
>someone tells him it's gonna suck
>he realizes his mistake
>talks with the gay landlords/owners to try and make it hard for her to get it
>kramer fucks it up by suggest jerry can help in front of her
>someone was willing to pay way more and saved jerry
>ends up playing loud music
I don't even regularly watch the show and i remember

He didn't live fancy but his flat was in a great location, and he always went to expensive dates and shit.

Better question is how Kramer could afford to live next door.

probably an undercover jew to subvert the proud homeless community

>flat

JERRY AND LARRY EARNED IT THOUGH

SHE JUST INHERITED IT, THINK MOST OF IT IS STILL IN TRUST

ONLY GEORGE AND KRAMER ARE IN THE NON-BILLIONAIRE PLEB TIER IRL

They specifically say the rent is $400 a month for that apartment

>but he couldn't afford to get everyone the "Wizard" electronic organizers.
it wasn't that he couldn't, it was that he didn't want to. He was still jewish.

Kramer wasn't wealthy he sold drugs

ok

Jerry was on Carson fairly regularly. I'm sure his club fee was probably relatively high because of that.

>You will never live in early 90s NYC before it became gentrified and expensive as fuck

Shame

>is that a Macbook Jerry?
>yeah, what's the problem?
>its not good jerry! Its botnet!
>oh get out Kramer, I'm not using that Linux crap
>GNU/Linux Jerry! GNU!

Please post this theory.
I would have wanted to visit in the 70's/80's, some real Sodom and Gomorra shit. Cool pic, looks like The Warriors.

my dad visited nyc in 79 and woudnt go out at night. what a pussy ass bitch.
