Most of the good things about AW were lifted from Twin Peaks though you probably already knew that.
not fucking Wayward Pines, ignore anyone that suggests it
Alan wake fucking sucked. On top of that I found 99/100 thermoses. Fuck that shit
>99/100 thermoses
That's frustrating as fuck.
The Fourth Kind
The Thing
maybe The Village
Idk, you probably already seen all these and I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for
Silent Hill
Alan Wake is just a shitty attempt at making a video game Twin Peaks
>Alan Wake
my man. Alan wake is my favourite game of all time
>when alan realizes the clue is in Old god's of asgard song
>when light comes on at the stage and you kill evil while rock music playing
pure bliss.
Well first you need to get better taste and fuck off, thanks. saged.
>Really want to play this
>You've collected page 1 of chapter 1
>You've collected page 2 of chapter 1

>You've collected page 6 of chapter 1
Wait what.

edgy faggot is edgy.
faggot
Mothman Prophecies.
Dark was the night (imdb.com
Monsters are cheap cgi though. Atmosphere is pretty well done otherwise.
The Hallow (imdb.com
Twin Peaks
Dark was the Night is garbage, skip it.
Not a movie or tv series, but check out Life is Strange as well. The Twin Peaks influence is also very apparent in that one.
Darkness Falls
Found the name of another I was thinking of:
After (imdb.com
Mysterious mist surrounding an empty town. Two people have to figure out what's happening before the mist closes in.
Dark was the Night is worth checking out. Ignore the other poster. You're gonna have to settle for b-grade stuff if you want any obscure genre recommendations with the flavor you're looking for. There are always issues. If they were perfect you would have heard of them already.
Pontypool is worth watching too. The radio station in Alan Wake really reminded me of that movie. Be aware it never leaves the station. You only hear about the apocalypse stuff second hand via the DJ.
