Did anons ever finish subbing this?

no
the translator got too busy to continue after ep 4 but the series was released on netflix in some countries and i assume with subs

They got all the way through episode 11 with fan subs, but they just released the official subs for the last one. It works, but some of the stylistic differences are almost too jarring at times if you get too used to the first.

Also, this series was fucking amazing and gorgeous. Part of me really wants a "second season" focused around different kids and their experience in the war, or other wars.

bump for porn

Porn of what? specifically Long Long Vacation. I wouldn't hold my breath, Although I do happen to know that one user who made his own 3d model of Colette still adores her and this series, and does lewd art

link?

How do I get the motivation to watch this? I don't know why I struggle. I've been wanting to before the fansubs started.

I feel like with that comfy setting it's going to make me sad.

Pic related is all I can find, but I know he has posted animations and various states of undress in the past

it will be sad/infuriating as fuck. But remember, this is a story ofwar, wsshich has an ujp for every down. additionally, this is a story about WW2, and SPOILER ALERT: WW2 HAS A mostly HAPPY ENDING

If you ever find Garulfo, don't miss on it. It's easily one of the best things I've read in years.
It's about a frog (heh) who wants to become human, and gets his wish granted by a witch. Of course he quickly realizes that the world of men is not as great as he had imagined

Seconding this. The writer also made De cape et de croc, which is probably my favorite comic

god damn i need those pics

>there will never ever be a Navis cartoon
I never got into Wake or Sillage, but the Navis prequel comic is literally perfect for a SatAM style program. It's got the deep ass lore. it's got the cute animals and #STRONGFEMAILPROTAGONIST for the young girl audience. It's got vicious beasts, great action and a cute girl for the young male audience. it's the total package. CARTOON ADAPTATION WHEN

Lastman is a good french cartoon.

Unfortuntly the person who was translating and subbing episodes in English then putting them up on youtube got noticed, so they had to take all the episodes down.

Not sure where to see the rest of the series now.

Never read the original comic, can't say how good it is in comparison.

Muh nigga

>Unfortuntly the person who was translating and subbing episodes in English then putting them up on youtube got noticed, so they had to take all the episodes down.
Goddamit.

I can't just stop where they left off.

user that promised to translate Voyage en Satanie here. The flu got me last week, so I still have the typesetting to do.

Patrician tastes.
By the same writer, 7 missionaires is a masterpiece. 7 monks, each one guilty of indulging in one of the deadly sins, are sent on a suicide mission to convert vikings by the church, so the northerners stop raiding monasteries and if it fails, they still get rid of seven assholes, win-win. And Critone's watercolors are gorgeous. Look at those characters; not a single sameface, everyone got a disting garb and bodytype.
There's also D, a victorian thriller about vampire hunting, but unlike Garulfo I think Maionara artstyle doesn't do the story justice. Still very good.

What's the best way to find these shows/films?

Typically foreign stuff isn't seeded or uploaded in as many places.

French stuff is pretty good

As a french Sup Forumsmrade, this made me so fucking MAD when it got out.
I mean COME ON can't we fucking let it go with WW2 and the resistance ! And i fucking marathoned this shit and it's TERRIBLE !
Fucking realism (= imagination is bad and children should only learn WW2 and the holocaust)
Fucking civil guilt and alcoholism culture, but nobody smokes in the 40's
FUCK this show !!!

Was the last volume of The Song of Excalibur ever scanlated? l can only find parts 1 to 5 with 6 raw.

Fun little series.

I wish I had every episode on DVD

>but some of the stylistic differences are almost too jarring at times if you get too used to the first.
I'm curious about what you mean by that as the perfectly amateurish guy who translated 9 episodes.
Also, I'm pretty sure there is only 10 episodes.

Also pic related.

Bastien Vives is a national treasure.

instagram.com/p/BFThkBnEbXS/
manjari-partners.com/portfolios/bastien-vives/

There is a seventh volume?

6 is the last and all I can find are raw scans of it.

We love our bread
We love our butter
But most of all
We love each other

Anyone here reads womoks? Homorous sci-fi comics are rare, but well-drawn ones are even rarer. I really like Reno's style.

Glad that other anons saw it, this was one of the good surprises for me this year.

youtube.com/watch?v=pW7JDw2Qimo

I wish there were some trailers that didn't basically spoil the movie, too. It's the only decent one I've found.

He's a good writer, but I find him mediocre as an artist. A bit like Trondheim. Idk why they made him draw lastman when the two other authors are really better. Sanlaville is drawing it now, though.

I have the two first tomes of Womoks. I need to check out Reno's other works, but I'm too much behind on Aquablue

Trondheim has a particular style that I love. I mean yeah, you can say it's mediocre from an artistic point of view, but I find it really charming and expressive

Finding foreign animated programs and posting them on Sup Forums is something of a hobby for me. The best way to find anything foreign is to keep an eye on the big international events. The Cartoon Forum, for example, or MIPCOM and MIPJUNIOR.

Like this French cartoon. I went through the listings on the Cartoon Forum's website, found a French animation studio called Monkey Eggs. I decided to check out the Monkey Eggs website and found this trailer for their next 52x11 animated series. If I didn't find this, and didn't post it, how long would it be before anybody actually noticed that it existed?

vimeo.com/170016717

There's a certain power in giving unknown animations attention. The Last Reservation. The Mysteries of Providence. Wolfy: The Incredible Secret. Pumpkin Reports. Sherlock Yack. Rimba Racer. There are more than I could possibly list. I played a role in getting these shows attention on Sup Forums. Attention that they may have never received otherwise.

I don't always succeed. The Memories of Nanette recently premiered in France. I made threads for it and uploaded videos - in English - but nobody cared. The threads were a bust.

youtube.com/watch?v=g1pzUMdb3i4

youtube.com/watch?v=AGyc5LU5_Lk

I care user. Thank you.

Here's the French commercial for Nanette. It's a French cartoon, of course. It's based on a French comic, and is called Les Souvenirs de Mamette.

youtube.com/watch?v=d0yyOK1ZpPA

Only french comic I know off hand is Kairos. Hero goes off to save the girl from being kidnapped to the land of dragons. I even managed to do a rough translation of the 3rd volume before my laptop crashed. The artist is really good and I believe right now he's off sailing and drawing his adventures

The more I learn about the lore, the more I love Sillage. Space opera at its finest.

this was about the 20s french kids right?

where can I get it?

Here is the trailer in better quality.
youtube.com/watch?v=dRZxNotWAWM

Not french since the author is swiss, but the Jonathan series is great for those who like trips around the world. Romanticised accounts of his travels and experiences.

The Azure Buddha is an excellent two shot in the same vein, about a young english noble in India running away Tibet. Set before and after the chinese invasion.

If one of you shops a condom in her mouth, y'all dead to me.

What police is that?
His blog is available in english. Seems like a pretty nice guy.
We are sailing in the same area, with some luck I'll see him this summer.

Thanks.

He's quite decent at anatomy now. Ralph Azham and Les Petits Riens are ok, while early dungeon was atrocious in that regard.

Dude, like, read the fucking post.

It's is currently development show?

I love Ralph Azham, I found the powers really weird and interesting.

Yeah. 52 eleven minute episodes.

Are sure this show was broadcast. Just information.

Reminder that EC-707 is a known pedophile from Brazil who is obsessed with the boners he gets from obscure European cartoons.

He will usually (a) beg (pathetically) for anons to buy him an entire season on Amazon USA or UK or whatever (always priced for over $100 per season), when it is abundantly clear that he can get it himself with his six million autism bux

and/or (b) shill his depraved and disgusting fan-art of underage characters from said obscure European cartoons in suggestive situations (99% of the time in the nude or inflated or inflated AND nude) from his Deviantart account.

Ignore and report. Report and ignore.

EC-707 is a cancer in the breast of Sup Forums.

Title

Loulou, L'incroyable Secret. Released in English as Wolfy: The Incredible Secret

JE SUIS PAS GROS

Thanks friendo. Do you know of any places that stream it? Can't find it anywhere.

I liked the cartoon tremendously.

It even made be read the comic... it's good, after a while. Not as good as the cartoon, though.
If only they didn't change the setting and antagonists with each arc, and didn't kill the best characters every time You were too pure for this sinful world, Mr. Pin-Pon ;_;
Ties well with the cartoon (and fighting game, I guess), despite the lack of kinglets.

Got two kung fu magicians fighting each other with nothing on them but a leather thong or ripped hospital garb, though. That was nice.

Zou's French, right?

Note: Ouash died on his way back to his home planet

Basically just them using slightly different names for some characters, and I don't think they translated the nazitalk

Ça, j'ai bien vu hier soir

Ok then, someone else did the German and to be fair, it's in German in the French version too, no subtitles. It's supposed to be frightening through language barrier I guess.

Anybody have links to Lou! episodes in English? There are some on YouTube but it's not all of them.

Where can I see this? Stumbling my way through French sites in Google isn't really providing me with a DL or stream.

I would love to find more episodes of the non-dialogue French cartoon Polo, but it seems next to impossible to find. Really, France has some of the world's most unreliable pirates. They barely upload anything.

youtube.com/watch?v=82w6l9ZbhTo

Why is Frances current animation industry so vastly superior to Americas? What did they do right?

i feel in love with this show when someone posted it a while back. still only that one good quality ep on youtube though

The author was also a musician and later became a popular comedian for Belgian television.

The original artist Salveruis died and Lambil stepped in. Funny with realistic war dead.

So the first 5 were translated
That's amazing.
Anyway I don't think the 6th will be translated any time soon, maybe the series saw an english edition before the 6th vol so for the 6th volume to appear there should be a new english edition first.

>Idk why they made him draw lastman when the two other authors are really better. Sanlaville is drawing it now, though.

What are you talking about? They're ALL drawing, literally every page has a bit of them in it.

bump

whats your opinnion on lou!

It's really great. Too bad they skipped tome 6 and went directly from 5 to 7.

Age de Crystal was an abomination. Timeskip + complete tone change was a good recipe for disaster. The last tome smooths things along, though.

They're the inventors of animation, mon ami.
US only had a few good blokes like Disney or Hanna and Barbera.

Balak is only making the storyboards afaik.
And the character design was clearly dominated by Vives at the beginning of the series, when you compare it with the rest of Sanlaville's production.
The last books are more balanced.

Tome 7 is out? I tough it was never coming out, do you have a link?

Tome 6 was the best and tome 7 is shit
>go to Mortebouse as usual
>everyone is happy
>everyone is in love
>we built a fucking tree castle with everyone, they are all nice and handsome and on vacation but with money and ALL IS GREAT

Fuck this

>7 missionaires
That sounds pretty intredasting.

Is it availabe in english and would you happen to have a link for it? I checked libgen but got no results there.

Got links for 1-5?

(cover)Art looks nice and I'm a sucker for Arleston so I'd like to give it a shot.
Unless Sosich had his shitty slav hands on it.

Something more concrete than a cover at least.

He always namefags and we have an archive that has search-by-name. Knock yourself out.

He made daily begging threads for ~2 months when the last season of Sidekick came out.

Captain Biceps

You're thinking of Balak.

Hitomi a gross now. She was disgunstingly cute in 2008 though.
