So? People do creepy shit when they're drunk. That doesn't make it okay, but it's not like there's any proof he's a serial rapist. Rapp being underage is a tricky point, but it's also entirely possible that Spacey had no idea he was underage; it was a party for co-workers and Broadway people, most of which were probably adults. Spacey found Rapp in his room after the party ended, which he might have assumed was a come-on, and he made a pass at him. Rapp turned him down and left with nothing happening.

I'm not even trying to be edgy here, I really don't think Spacey did anything wrong (at least no in this story; I have no idea what else he's been up to). He made a drunken pass at someone that happened to be underage, possibly without his knowledge, and that's pretty much it. It's creepy, but it's the kind of thing that happens at every party. Imagine something like this happened to you, and you made a drunken pass at a girl who happened to be underage; would you think of yourself as a child molester?

We don't know that he wanted to fuck a kid. Spacey hosted a party for coworker and Rapp happened to be there. For all he knew, he might have though he was just hitting on some random twink.

I'm not defending him, I'm just pointing out that most people seem to b blowing this story out of proportion, because I don't think Rapp is describing a sexual assault (which a term lots of people here are throwing around). The story makes it sound like some drunken fumbling around that ended very quickly; Rapp even says everything was one motion. I'm fully willing to admit that it was creepy, and inappropriate to do to a minor, but it's not rape.

You ARE defending Spacey, and then saying that you aren't. Stop trying to play both sides.

Spacey didn't even deny that the incident even happened, which means that he believes that coming onto a kid is something that he might do. He didn't say, "I would never knowingly come onto a fourteen-year-old." He said that if he did come onto a kid, he doesn't remember and he is sorry. That's fucking creepy and people are completely justified in their reactions to his statements.

Now, continue to defend Spacey while claiming that you aren't defending him.
