Why does this episode trigger everyone?

Why does this episode trigger everyone?

it tries too hard being edgy

it was shitty anime filler tier

Because nobody likes the yas queen squad

i skipped the whole episode after 10minutes in and i'm glad i did

Probably because it fucking sucked, and nobody wants to see an anthropomorphic piece of shit with a Danish/Poo/English accent on screen.

It had nothing to do with the main plot.
Of course half the stuff this season had nothing to do with the main plot.
This just gets called out in particular because it was a whole episode of not mattering.

It was poorly paced and very pointless except for the obvious comeback of Poojeeta in future seasons. They really could've postponed the whole 11 meeting her mother thing to leave further room for character development and bonding.

This guy gets it.
You could remove the episode from the season and it would still work.
Even the conversation between Jim and Eleven in the car never references it, just Eleven meeting her mother.
It's like Eleven was embarassed she had to deal with it.

>only good part was a hallucination

>embarrassed
>telling the chief of police about breaking and entering, assault, and attempted murder

Eleven's killed swaths of near-innocent soldiers. Jim don't give a fuck.

...

it's edgy
it's stupid
it's shitty
it focuses on a shitty character
it sucks

It wasn't in the manga.

It felt like one of those 70's and 80's sitcom episodes where you could tell that they were introducing characters just so they could get a spinoff.

The Diversity Gang was pretty fuckin dumb too.

Oh my god bros is she the next Chloe? ;_; I can't take much more

niggers, you forget strangers things season 1? like there were entire episodes where fuck all happened, that one with the pool party, that episode triggerred me because it fucking WASTED MY TIME. fucking nothing happening and for no purpose, just to waste your time becasue they hav e your attention

>pool party
>nothing happened

WHAT ABOUT BARB!?

Because everyone hates anime fillers.

>the first thing was good
>oh no they did something different SHIT SHIT SHIT

It's the same reason conservatives exist.

>i skipped the whole episode after 10minutes
Same, it'd be great if netflix releases episode viewing data.

S2Ep7 had nothing to do with anything season 1 related besides Eleven; it's even in a different setting which will probably never be referenced again.
It was legit filler-tier.

DESU You need a really high IQ to understand what this episode brought to the table. It changes the entire direction of the show. No more strange things, Diversity Squad go!

even the normies hate it

>Why does this episode trigger everyone?
Pointless to the overall story, doesn't move anything forward, tone, location, and the characters were all just terrible. Felt like some random episode of some CW show.
It felt like it was a pilot for a stranger things spin off.

>The Diversity Gang was pretty fuckin dumb too.
Genuinely surprised a wheelchair kid wasn't in the crew.

Why do normalfags hype this show up so much?
I don't get it

they've never seen a real show like pic related

I actually think I might be autistic because I watched the entirety of season 2 in the last few days and I had no idea that dude was actually female until he got a haircut. I've heard face blindness is a primary symptom of autism so I'm actually scared shitless. I made a doctor appointment for tomorrow so I guess i'll know one way or the other

what is that?

Because it's a fucking backdoor pilot that could've easily been the B plot of a regular episode instead of wasting our time.

they just do what they're told

I actually liked it and the campy diversity crew... reminded me of The Warriors.

Elfen Lied.
It's just egdy anime.

...

I dont mind filler if its good filler.

her 'sister' wasn't convincing at all and somehow not interesting despite super powers and shared history.
the gang wasn't that bad but they where over the top and the episode to much of a contrast to the rest of the show.

>UNDERRATED POST

But yeah, I didn't hate the episode, but I understand the hate. I think the concept was good, but it was just played out in a slightly cheesy way. Stranger Things is fueled by tropes and cliches, but this episode was almost overkill. Again, I didn't hate it...but it could of been better.
And remember, Op...you're posting on Sup Forums, so any form of races mixing can cause a problem.

The strong characters were one of the strongest parts of the show
The people from Chicago were literal actual cartoon characters compared to the rest of the cast
Also I don't think Millie is a great actress and having her lead an entire episode by herself was shitty

It will never be 1994 again

Shut your fucking mouth. This shit is nothing like The Warriors.

>Stranger Things is fueled by tropes and cliches
It still has characters and a setting you like, remove that like in this episode and it's just an episode of another show you didn't want to watch.
