Blame the budget.
The batsuit should be really intricate.
Instead they all look like big rubber suits.
Batman has expensive armor, plating, and other materials woven into the suit.
I like Affleck's grey BvS suit (the standard one) but that's just me having to pick one suit from all the movies.
But the all black variation in Justice League blends the bat symbol with the suit making it hard to distinguish.

And I'd like to think that Kilmer was happy about this, too. He did a film 20 years ago and even today some guy likes it enough to spend thousands of dollars to build a replica of his suit and then travels to meet Kilmer.
