Well, yes. That full cycle mark on the story of Asgard's birth and death and rebirth is literally what Ragnorok is.

I think because Tom Hiddleston's Loki was so popular that they needed to somehow justify turning Loki into a good guy. Hence, fucking up the Ragnarok storyline.

Still, it's a fun movie to watch. Not Oscar worthy, but just a fun weekend movie.
