Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are dead even for best trilogy ever. All three movies in each trilogy were met with massive commercial success, critical acclaim, and cultural influence. No other trilogy comes anywhere close, because every other trilogy, like the Ocean's one that you posted, has a massive weak spot in Ocean's 12 and the first half of Ocean's 13.
