I have never seen a movie in my life

If you rewatch to first watch ratio is anywhere above 1:3 you're doing something wrong.

Sausage Party
Blade Runner 2049
Batman V. Superman
Valerian
GOTG 2
Star Trek: Beyond

Can't remember beyond that.
I saw GOTG2 when it was in theaters, so that gives an idea of how few movies I watch.

no. There's just a certain lack of good recent movies.

There allready exist enough films so you can watch one great and three decent ones every day for the rest of your life. If you are unaware of this fact you have not yet graped the vastness of the medium or got a verry narrow aesthetic sense.

I just didn't watch a whole lot of new movies in the past three weeks or so. What of it?

But if you're so interested in my aesthetic sense: I read a couple of rather good books lately. All of which I hadn't read before. For example watching BR 2049 finally got me to read Pale Fire which had actually been sitting on my bookshelf for months.

>Wait Until Dark (1967)
>The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972’)
>Wins River (2017)

I haven't seen it, is it bad? :(

Well from you list I assumed that you disregard any film made before 1990.

Why didn't you like Oldboy? Sup Forums hates it for being the quintessential entry level asian film and consider anything popular to be overrated. Oldboy is great.

Neat.
I read Kokoro, Three body problem and lotr: the two towers recently. Starting journey to the end of the night now.

>Well from you list I assumed that you disregard any film made before 1990

Fuck no. There are two 1940s movies in that list, in case you didn't notice. And who said I didn't like Oldboy?

>The Tree of Life
9/10, narration from Chastain is cringe but the rest is good
>Shawshank Redemption
10/10, probably the best example of a competently made film. So competently made that it transcends competence
>Sicario
7/10, felt bland other than the last third
>Empire Of the Sun
8/10, a bit silly at the end but comes good check 'em young Christian Bale is funny
>Good Will Hunting
8/10, William's and Damon's chemistry is bretty insane. Gr8 script
>The Green Mile
9/10, cried like a faggot. Performances are all great
>Fight Club
9/10, some parts are outdated but still amazing vision and craftmanship from david Finchmeme
>Green Room
3/10, dog shit. Terrible performances and student tier directing, even the gore is shit and mainly obscured by low light
>Hearts of Darkness
8/10, docu of the making of Apocalypse now, makes you appreciate the hardship Francis Ford Memella went thought to craft a Kino. Marlon Brando eating a fly is a highlight
>Dallas Buyers Club
6/10, good performances from Mcconaughey and Leto but pretty dull otherwise.
If I don't get at least one (you) I'm killing myself tonight

fuck you

What the fuck is Dungaree Dirk? Google shows nothing even if I write "film" in the search

>Saw
I thought it was a bundle of fun as I watched it with friends. I didn't think it was particularly too 'deep' but I enjoy mystery, crime thrillers and horror films. Saw combined all of that. I'll have to watch the rest soon so that I can watch Jigsaw at the cinema. I don't expect anything great though.

Last five films

>Repulsion
>Alien Abduction: An Incident In Lake Country
>Eight and a Half
>Phase IV
>Spirit of the Beehive

I should probably watch Spirit of the Beehive again since I was pretty hammered when watching it and I barely remember a thing outside of the opening, the scene with the mushroom and when the girl meets Frankenstein but aside from that I'm impressed with how forgotten Alien Abduction is. I find it incredibly layered for what it is especially on social commentary when you look past the fact on the surface it is an alien horror movie.

It's pretty good´– GOAT-tier cinematography – but not for the faint-hearted. On-par with the "The Grifter", I'd say.

Can you grab me a link for it's imbd page or something? I literally can't find it

>LOTR and then Céline
lol wut?

Phew, that might be hard. Just like the original "Grifter", it's an unlisted film (for obvious reasons).

>"The Grifter"

Did you have to remind me, you fuckin turd?

Never ask again!

Drive Angry is one of the best 21st century comedies, it's a hidden treasure. I can't believe general audiences and critics too took it as a face value action movie when it's such carefully crafted satire.

>letterboxd
why do people use that thrash
Criticker™ is the superior choice

Oh right it's a meme. fuck you

I've mostly read books the past year.

>Blade Runner 2049
>Blade Runner
>ATHFCMFTFDVD
>It
>Step Brothers
>Happiness
>Out of the Past
>It Happened One Night
>Scarface 1983
>The Trials of Henry Kissinger

>watching "films"

He sits like Forrest Gump.

like hell i'm gonna remember that

What's wrong with that? I read books in completely random order, switching genre and period with almost every book...
