Do you agree? Or does an actress really need to give all for a role if necessary

Nude scenes are nothing

if you lose a role for it it's your fault, but that's how principles work

if they cast you knowing that you won't do a nude scene, they can't say shit about it later

*takes picture nude with an apple in the mouth like a roasted pig*

I don't even care about nude scenes any more. It's like bitch I got Pornhub if I wanna see some titties. I'm not watching tv to jack off.

She's right and good for her.

How is she gonna take the BBC with her clothes on?

She was nude in inbetweeners 1! Busteddddd

Clear body double, check Mr skin

I think a lot of movies and TV shows just use sex/nudity as a cheap gimmick rather than using it as something actually worthwhile in the story. There are some sex scenes, like the love scene in Blade Runner 2049, that actually work very well and don't just resort to being softcore porn, but most of the time nude scenes are kind of just thrown into a movie/TV show because they know it'll get people's attention. I don't think nude scenes and sex scenes in movies and TV should just go away because some people exploit it, but I don't have any problem with her wanting to say no to a nude/sex scene.

It should be a personal choice (made before signing any long running show contracts, obviously..dumb bitch) but it's mighty condescending of her to take some kind of moral highground because she refuses to show a tiddie. There are hundreds of better, more respected actresses out there who did nudes and didn't receive any "shame" for it. Everybody loves Eva Green and she gets naked if every fucking movie.

I get not wanting to do a nude scene but equating nudity with pornography is both objectively and subjectivity wrong.

Pic related, pornography apparently

True, but what about movies and TV shows that are essentially just porn, with no actual legitimate story that only really exist to show off an actress' tits?

what's this then?

They're just tasteless, not porn.

>nudity is porn

AYYY LMAO STUPID BITCH

if she takes nudes for a man and texts them shes just as bad as a porn star

Bit fucking disrespectful towards porn stars

Nah she's worse, at least porn stars do it for pay. That makes her as bad as the janitors on here

All her nudity in Da Vinci was tasteful, especially when she showed her pussy

Acting is one of the most degenerate professions.
You can bask into any vice but that's ok because (((art))).

Give examples

I'd expect to get paid a bit more for a nude scene, especially if it was full nude. Not everyone is Eva Green

Yeah because pornstars are the only ones in the history of humanity to get naked. There's not like there's a shortage of British actress who will get naked anyway.

>porn

So every actress who has done a nude scene is now a pornstar. Saying this will only offend others in the business. It's not smart to burn bridges.

...

Sorry but tits or gtfo if you won't do it the line of 1000 girls behind you will. Movies need more tits we hardly have any good tit scenes now.

muh dick

Shame, she was stunning in the Inbetweeners

it's the BBC any sensible person would refuse it just for them

poor mans emily blunt

well she's neither lol

I truly agree

Sex scenes or nude scenes are 100% filler and awkward to watch with anyone you're not porking, there is very rarely any valid justification for their inclusion.

...

It's easier to make a principled stand than just say "I have weird tits."

>she's only 32
Let's be honest, nobody wants to see that anyway, she hit a wall even bigger than her forehead

good for her, not like any media ever was actually improved by nudity or sex scenes, simply isn't necessary

jesus that body is insane

This.

>the love scene in Blade Runner 2049, that actually work very well and don't just resort to being softcore porn
Agreed. That scene was so much better for being discreet and stopping short of showing the actual sex (and this in a movie that had nudity in other scenes, including from one of the actresses in that scene).

Nudity can be tasteful and contextually appropriate, or it can be, as you say, pretty much softcore porn. Too many TV dramas, in particular, seem to go down the latter route these days, so I don't necessarily blame her for her stance.

I'm not sure that she was meaning to equate the two. It's entirely possible that she was simply making an assessment of what specifically was being asked of her. If she's making a blanket statement that "nudity = porn," then I would agree that she's being a prude.

There's not a lot of difference between what you see in some current TVs shows and movies, and what you used to see on late-night Cinemax, and if that's what she's objecting to, then she's got a point.

They knew who they were hiring.
