I know I'm late to the party, but I just finished the Deluxe Edition, and holy fuck, this was really good.
This is the most coherent and brilliant Morrison has been since... All-Star Superman, I guess, AND this time he didn't even botch the ending. It was awesome discovering the various underlying connections running through the series.
What was your favorite issue? Favorite character? Favorite moment? Favorite Earth? Who is the better waifu: Aquawoman or Mary Marvel?
Was the Empty Hand Ultra Comics or an evolved Neh-Buh-Loh?
Will Captain Atom ever go back to Pax Am Earth?
Was Overman an agent of the Gentry?
What the fuck was the 'point' of Stubbs?
By 'dissecting' comics on forums like this, are we really killing the magic?
Also, general Morrison/Hypercrisis thread.
MULTIVERSITY THREAD
We really need to discuss some Morrison. The guys here are discussing how Sentry is an intelligent story.
>What was your favorite issue?
Thunderworld
>Favorite character?
Captain Adam
>Favorite moment?
Captain Marvel Jr. vs Georgia Sivana
>Favorite Earth?
Earths 20/40
>Who is the better waifu: Aquawoman or Mary Marvel?
Tough call. Mary Marvel. Her innocence is an aphrodisiac.
Anyone have a mega/download link for it? I'd like to check it out
Forgot to mention that now I'm viewing the Multiversity as part of the Morrison DC Universe 'holy trinity'.
One Million: the future of the DCU (this is pretty easy to guess).
Seven Soldiers: the past of the DCU (past civilizations, forgotten heroes, Kirby characters, old JLA stories).
The Multiversity: the present of the DCU (all the universes existing around us, and the current state of comics and fandom).
It's pretty fucking dope having these books next to each other on my shelf.
Bumpin' up the thread with some interesting bits and pieces from the book.
Earth 51 is of course, the Kirby Earth, so it makes sense that it's the closest one to New Genesis (and the Guidebook showed there is a connection between the two).
But why is Earth 6 (the Just Imagine Stan Lee universe) the closest one to Apokolips?
The fact that our Earth's membrane can only be penetrated by memes cracked me up.
It's like Morrison knew that the Meme War of the 2016 election was on the way.
This page confirms which Gentry members attacked which Earth.
>The Superman arc with Multiversity lasted only three issues
Hope DC spends more time with the concept.
That's probably all he was allowed to do
Because a crossover is coming up
Maybe they'll do a sequel arc
