I hope it's actually 2 hours and not just an hour, the schedule shows 3 episodes, that'd be more like 1 hour and 5 minutes.

You and I know this isn't what will happen, I love the show... But Nathan has gotten into a bad habit of using people who are of low intelligence/awareness and humiliating them for ratings. The show started off pretty innocent, doing silly prank goofy ideas. Then took a dark turn and it was far more common for him. I miss the sweet goofy sperg who just wanted to do silly ideas.

I'm excited to have to wait 20 hours for a torrent to appear.

The show is 100% scripted absurdist humor masquerading as a candid show. Aspects of it are real, in that he pulls real hoaxes but while real people are involved, they're not being exploited because they know what they're in for.

People cling to the candid aspect of the show because that's the only way for normies to appreciate the show, they think the value is lost if it's totally not le epic pranks. It is first and foremost absurdist humor.

I read once in Gawker that the show was way more real than what one would think. The writer went to several places in which Nathan helped and asked them how much was scripted and more shit.

yeah most of it is definetly not scripted. i'm sure he films lots of shit and only edits together the funny absurd parts, be they planned by him or spontaneous. similar to how eric andre does his show.

I've been reading up on it and it seems like they plan his reaction etc for any possible reaction from the unscripted business owner but because it's only planned and he isn't memorising lines it still feels very authentic

I don't think Nathan goes out of his way to humiliate anyone. He gets a lot of humour out of people but 99% come out as very likable people. The only people I can think of who come of as dicks are the toy company guy, the sports store owner, and the guy who lied to cut in line about a hot dog.
