What's some real hipster less than 100 people logged on letterboxd movies that will blow my mind.

It can be any number really. Under 500 logged. It doesn't matter. Just something that will give me obscure points.

Final Flesh?

The creator of Wonder Showzen wrote an intentionally hacky Lynchian post apocalyptic script and broke it up into thirds. He sent each third to amateur porn companies that would act out any script you sent them. His script contained nothing sexual. The film is the three films he got back from those amateur porn companies which included them shoehorning in some sexual stuff because they didn't know what else to do. It's hilarious.

Blood Car

The car that eats people and runs on blood.

It resurrected Chumsky's career.

OC & Stiggs.

Robert Altman made a movie parodying raunchy teen comedies of the 1980s but nobody got the joke.

Features that dikey redhead in Sex and the City back when she was a teen.

Watch H-8.
Probably the best film ever out of the Croatian film industry. a top notch well-executed thriller that anyone in the world can appreciate and understand with no previous national context.
Really clever writing too (you have the version with english subtitles on youtube, hard to find elsewhere really)

>Five young biologists travel to Northern Sweden to investigate 2,000 acres of wilderness lost in a large forest fire. Trailer and tents await them where they will stay for a few weeks. On the first day they find a burnt carcass of what they assume to be an animal. This event marks the beginning of a week of fear, paranoia, and doubt of their own sanity. Against their will the biologists have entered the unknown. The road back to civilization suddenly seems very long…

literally nobody has seen this but its a very cool little film

Valley of Flowers.
Mostly a movie that contemplates different metaphorical questions while the characters journey through the rugged Taiga to modern Tokyo.
letterboxd.com/film/valley-of-flowers/
The tonal shift may turn some viewers away, but I think it works perfectly. First encapsulating our primal self, then shifting on to the more civilized human, but in the end, there's not that much difference between the two.

Doomwatch:Winter Angel

i suggest this because i just bought the last existing DVD from amazon, and you can't download it from anywhere.

FUtv: No regrets, No apologies

The Mind’s Eye is a compilation of experimental computer animations from when such technology was in its early infancy. The animations are from various studios, having been arranged in a sort of “2001” evolution-timeline theme, and set to synthesized music. These pioneering CGI projects later gave rise to films such as Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Antz, and Shrek.

Jeremy Sisto stars as a guy who is aware that his life is a movie and he speaks directly to the audience. In universe everybody has an audience but Peter Stormare is the "villain" who doesn't have one and steals other people's audience.

Four Murders Are Enough, Darling

Very zany 1970 Czechoslovak comedy spoof of gangster movies and comics. It's also how Czechs imagined America.

lmao what in the actual fuck is this shit

Lemonade and/or Horse Opera

Another great spoof, this one of Westerns and some intriguing critique of capitalism.

letterboxd.com/film/hotel-of-the-stars/

>A documentary comedy about extras in Hollywood and how their dreams reflect the society they live in. The film’s stage is an old hotel in the middle of Hollywood. Dilapidated inside as well as outside, but the passing of time hasn’t eradicated all traces of an elegant past. Until the beginning of the 1960th the Stars from Broadway lived in Montecito Hotel on Franklin Avenue when they flew in from New York to film at the big studios. But the Stars have disappeared and those who dream about being Stars have moved into their hotel rooms, the extras, the hookers, the pimps, the restless dreamers stuck in a hotel with a dying elevator that slowly drives them crazy.

An influence on Joshua Oppenheimer when making the act of killing/look of silence
