Is it still showing at your local cinema?
Will home media sales help it to break even?
Did Joi really love K, or was it just brilliant programming?

Probably going to see it for a 4th time this weekend. Should still be in theaters.
I just saw it last night, it's not showing in imax anymore and is out of most theatres now.
I can't stop thinking about how much I love this movie, bros
Would be amazing if they made a box set with the original, the three shorts, and the new one
I just want to know when it comes out on bluray so I can watch it every Friday night to kick off my weekend and enjoy watching it on my 60 inch 2k res TV and surround sound system.
Saw it yesterday, was only offered in 3D. I hope it plays til Christmas 2019.
>The complete Blade Runner
>72 discs with 20 different cuts and commentary by every single member of the crew, even the janitor.
Someone push Amazon into doing a Sapper Morton farming protein series. They're confused enough to do it.
Favourite scene?
Pic related.
>Is it still showing at your local cinema?
>nearest showtime 163 miles away
Fuck, I wish I could see it one more time, but this is getting ridiculous.
Sounds perfect to me, especially since the original cut hasn't been released since the final cut came out
Was the 3D version cool?
>ywn fight in a seemingly glorious yet ultimately meaningless war offworld only to renounce your violent ways and retire to hospice earth to spend the rest of your life farming maggots

>tfw that bottle was only announced like a week before release and you didnt hear about it because a hurricane wrecked your city's power and internet for a month.
>Is it still showing at your local cinema?
Yep, 2 regular screenings per major theatre with a 3D one in between
>Will home media sales help it to break even?
Probably not

I think she was programmed to do exactly what he wanted--even put herself at risk for him. Clearly she hademotional attachment, but in conjunction with the movie's themes there is simply no way to know for certain if she developed real empathy.
>break even
Hasn't it already done that? It's not super profitable, but at least it hasn't lost money.
I agree, and I like to think it doesnt matter if her love was real or not, only that he felt it was
I just checked eBay for it because I missed the ball too, if you're in the US you're in luck if you don't mind shelling out $160 or so, I can't find any for sale in the UK though so I'm fucked.
Joi was purely programming, she wasn't even real the way replicants are.
The production companies/distributors don't get all of that, theatres take a big cut, and the budget doesn't include marketing. It won't be a King Arthur type bomb, but it's probably still in the red right now
I never willingly choose it, it robs the print of light and color.
I picked up the collector's briefcase a few years ago and was very happy with the sheer amount of stuff in it. If they made something similar with the new movie I'd probably go for that as well. A nice lenticular JOI would be perfect.
Blöd Runner
Wait, how did Deckard get hold of a Bladerunner sponsored Johnny Walker bottle
I wish my MCU Phase 1 set was that nice
Reminder it isn't Sup Forums locals praising this movie
I'm a local and I enjoyed it.
she was spying on k the whole movie for the bad guys, in fact her whole purpose as a product is probably to spy on people for targeted advertisement just like real iphones. but the fact that she asks him to break her transmitter shows that she was clearly going against her creator's wishes.
human men and women only form emotional attachment to each other because they are programmed to by genetics. does that make it not special? this is the theme of the movie
who could watch this autistic bullshit for more than 10 seconds?
130 people for sure, and potentially 700 more
It’s not showing at the theaters near me anymore but I’m crossing my fingers that the second run theater gets it soon
>second run theatre
Are these really popular in Yank land? I've never come across a "second-run theatre" in the UK.
There’s not that many that I know of. There’s only one in my area and even then it’s a little bit of a drive away.
