Please wear something Sexy on this show like she did in Smaville

She needs to untan herself.

>cast medusa
>looks like crystal
Not that I care, she's hot.

How good is she?

Eh, she pulls it off nicely.

Her appearance is the one thing I'm wondering how they're gonna do it. The hair especially.

She's turning me into stone if you know what I mean.

Will she have red hair though?

>tfw medusa used to date James Olsen

I hope she dyes it, wigs tend to be shitty. Even GOT with its budget can't make Dany's wig look good.

Maybe, but Medusa is pale af.

Her tits could be bigger
but I am still Ok with this

She's definitely gonna have a wig or cg thing going on. Unless they go for a "realistic" look, which will basically fail at properly representing her character.

It just sunk in when i didn't understand who OP was talking about for a couple of seconds when i realized "Medusa" is an awful name for a character that isn't literally the mythic character Medusa

Someone have a recommended reading for Black Bolt? No idea where to start with him.

Eh... Hickman's FF? Hickman's New Avengers/Infinity?

For Black Bolt specifically I would Jenkin/lee Inhumans, the Inhumans secret invasion mini, war of kings, Infinity, Uncanny Inhumans 0-4.
Probably Silent war but that is40% Luna.

She's called Medusa because her powers are hair-based.

I know, but it's a name too. Like Thor is literally the norse god thor and the same goes for Hercules. Medusa is some bitch from her own complex culture with a history that stretches even further back than Grecian myth. It'd be like if i named my Son Batman just because of some superficial similarities. I get it, it's just too specific imo. When you see the name medusa you don't think of the marvel character

>not Christina Hendricks

Gorgon's name makes even less sense, unless he/his family are really into D&D for some reason

Which is weird since the character Gorgon existed for like a decade before the D&D creature, I think.

Really, she seems like such an unlikely choice.

Really?*

She is hot enough for the role, now just need they fix her in the comics and everything will be fine, they need at least to make her break up with Johnny and realize the retarded of that relationship.
Actually they just need to kill her in the comics, the he'll with sinergy, she is unfixable comics.

Again, she is hot enough.
Too old.

inhuman shit we don't need

Too thicc for the role

There's no way they are using the names Medusa and Blackagar Boltagon unless they are codewords or some new-agey "my free-man name" like deshwan and robniqwa are.

Why wouldn't they? These aren't regular old people, they are suppose be some weird moon base culture having regular ass human names would make no sense. Besides nobody but Medusa calls Black Bolt by his full name and nobody at all calls Medusa by her full name.

Her hair is going to have to be at least partially CGI no matter what though.

Yeah, but they are still born on Earth no?

They're not going to start the story in medias res, are they?

There has to be some common mythology where a Gorgon refers to some kind of bull-like beast for it to have been used as a name for a hooved-bull like beast/person by both Gygax and Kirby independently of each other.

Medusa isn't her name. It's Medusalith Amequelin. "Medusa" is just a shortened version just like "Crystal" is for "Crystalia" and "Black Bolt" is for "Blackagar Boltagon." I see no reason why they can't stick with their canon names.

And either way, the whole point of Attilan is that it's a culture so different from humanity's that it almost appears alien or "inhuman."

Story is set in Attilan user and Attilan hadn't had contact with regular humans in thousands of years until the f4 came around. Being born on earth won't matter.

For some reason I thought they started as essentially humans, not as quasi-aliens.

Disregard my casualty.

>they are still born on Earth no?
Not necessarily. Attilan might already be on the moon when the movie starts, and either way, it doesn't matter if you're born on Earth when you've had 0 exposure to human culture. Attilan is an isolated city-state that has had no intermingling with outside society in tens of thousands of years.

You can probably blame Marvel trying to push this "t-they're just like the x-men!" meme down everyone's throats the past couple years for that misconception, but yeah, the whole point to the inhumans is that they're this weird, super-advanced alien-like culture that's been living on Earth in secret without humanity realising it for thousands of years.

Most of the classic stories about them were about a super-human team like the Fantastic Four or the X-men somehow coming in contact with them, going to Attilan, and then getting into conflict with them over misunderstandings revolving around their weird culture.

Inhumans have awful names. I mean seriously,
>Blackagar Boltagon

She was pretty hot as Zatanna in Smallville

>She was pretty hot as Zatanna in Smallville
Agreed

Sup Forums thread about an actress, report and hide.

looks a bit like Lena Headey. Gee, what a coincidence.

After a long time Marvel hires a hot actress with curves

Based MARVEL

58 years old Angela Bassett

Same

these are all gals in Marvel films?

who's the one with the cans second from the left on the top?

Agent Carter, Captain America's first love

Someone should photoshop her hair red here.

I hope they wear uniforms and that the uniforms are like regular clothes for them

Could work
Better than

Brie Larson
Zoë Saldaña
Zendaya
Krysten Ritter

Atwell is life

>When you see the name medusa you don't think of the marvel character

Where do you think you are?

I thought that was Sasha Grey until I opened the thumbnail.

unf

too old and too fat. her corset would explode if she had to do an action scene

>Too old

Nah.

I'm sure editing will find it impossible to make her whiter

>We want the game of thrones audience

Also, Barry is playing Maxi

not my first pick, but pretty damned hot

Lena Headey is a fridge, you are blind user?

I'd sooner suck Bryan Singer's dick for a non-speaking role as an X-Man than choose to star as a main character in Subhumans.

Serinda Swan
finally working with the best studio

medusa is thicc tho

Decent

She looks like a woman, not a fridge and can act

Don't feel like making a topic, but Ken Leung was cast as Karnak: news.marvel.com/tv/60651/ken-leung-cast-marvels-inhumans-abc/

Neat!

great news

Nice

So, Karnak will be a generic Kung Fu guy, huh?
