yes, there was a crash, but the industry slowly GROWS each year back to where it was.

Honestly, it will take more than that.
Comics have to become more available, be taught at an earlier age as literature, get away from superheroes, and become more affordable.

The collectors market also has to dry up completely.

That without counting digital comics.

comic books are actually doing better than cartoons. If anything, people should be asking if cartoons are a dying industry due to the fact the cartoons are losing thier audience to the likes of youtubers.
