Bump

...

I wish Chow would act again

how was the name of that kung fu movie? I only remember the protagonist fighting with a milk-blasting cow

Kung Pow

Stream that movie if you're so great

...

that's the one
excuse me?

Kino

god of cookery, pretty much anything with stephen chow or whatever the lead actors name is

movies in which he both acts and directs are goat

this, fucking amazing kinoplex

House of Flying Daggers

How did he go from this 10/10 to journey to the west?

Hey.
Fuck you, alright?

I fucking LOVED this movie as a kid

This movie is fantastic

Sion Sono's greatest kino finally has English subs, so you plebs can go watch it now.

Was about to post the same thing

City on Fire. These days it's probably more famous for inspiring the scenario of Reservoir Dogs, but it's a solid, if flawed, crime/action film in its own right.

I loved this movie and the poster is one of my favorites

journey is not that bad user but hustle is for sure a 10

Why does no one ever mention King of Comedy when it's easily the best movie he directed?

Have some Jackie Chan

Legend of the Drunken Master (1994) is the obvious starting point

Police Story (1985)

Armour of God 2: Operation Condor (1991)

>drunken master 2
>starting point
try drunken master (1978)

How the fuck you gonna post Armour of God 2 and not post Armour of God 1? 2 is awful compared to 1.

Wheels on Meals (1984)
Legend is Chan's best film. Drunken master is good but its style parody nature dates it and Chan's skills and filming technique are lacking the experience of his later work

In the US they were released backwards because Mirimax.

Project A

Dragon Lord (1982)

relaxing weebshit since no one has posted any yet:
soredemo boku wa yattenai
waterboys
wood job!
kokuhaku
shiko funjatta
you'll get something out of pretty much every Kitano movie pre-2005 as well, and pretty much everything from Suo and Yaguchi's early stuff is great fun.

Miracles (1989)

>In the US they were released backwards because Mirimax.
Yeah I know, but you still posted the shit one.

I mean, look at this kino

I know you all want kung fu stuff, but I don't normally get a chance to shill this movie.

Had to watch it for an asian studies class, it was actually pretty fucking good.

obligatory.

if you haven't seen all the movies on this image then you've got some catching up to do.

Do not watch I Saw the Devil though, it's total shit.

Strongly Disagree, 1 has a good opening scene but due to injury the rest of the movie is fairly action light, plus Condor has one of Jackie's top 5 fight scenes ever

Supercop (1992)

Dragons Forever (1989)

I hate kung fu shit. Post more real movies.

Rumble In the Bronx (1995)

New Police Story (2004)

>says the pleb
Probably one of the best films on that list.

fun movie
underrated as fuck

You should not be posting on a film board if you think there was anything redeemable about that trash.

You should not be posting on an asian film thread if you didn't understand I Saw the Devil.

Go watch Justice League or some shit. It may be more your style.

...

you plebs. pic related

Probably the best journey to the west adaptation in my opinion

I bet you like New World too, trash boy.

Kino coming through

...

How is it compared to this one?
Really enjoyed it despite being 4h long.

...

Every Sion Sono, Wong Karwai and Stephen Chow movie?

Watch "From Beijing With Love" or "Kung Fu Hustle"
