Aside from Prophet, what comics do biopunk well?

wat?
you can apparently put -punk on anything
magicpunk
What about punkpunk?
Like, a future society where anarchy has swept across the country and everything now revolves around punk culture.
What if it means it's a society that puts -punk after everything?
Oh wait, that's metapunk
Jurassic Punk
Orc Hiatus
Wasn't it straight-up canceled though?
does Chew count?
Incal?
Fluorescent Black?
No.
>Biopunk is a subgenre of science fiction that focuses on biotechnology.
Certain arcs of Transmetropolitan come to mind, Nikolai Dante heavily features weaponry keyed to specific genetics.
There are points of Incal that get fleshy.
No, it was a few things
1. Stokoe wanted to build up issues so that he had enough to fill a new trade and they could be released on a schedule instead of when they were done
2. Obviously this doesn't pay bills
3. He now takes on other projects like Marvel one-shots, Godzilla, and the upcoming Aliens mini
4. He works on Orc Stain when he's between projects
Also according to him the last issue of Orc Stain only sold like 3k copies, so he wants to continue it, but with those sales it can't be a priority
>only sold 3k
that's a shame. For awhile I couldn't find any Orc Stain comics under $100 but they recently added Vol. 1 on Amazon
>only 3k
Damn, that's one of the few comics that I actually bought all the issue plus the trade. Maybe James needs to get on the merch train, start a miniatures line or something.
You never heard of biopunk before?
Is that the one hentai where the chick fucks the insect abomination she gives birth to and has insects in her tits for some reson?
>Dino Crisis
>Carnosaur
>Primal Carnage
>Terra Nova
>Primeval
It's a thing, I guess.
Yep, it was storytimed on /d/.
The disturbing thing is, the amount of detail and story volume is enormous for mere /d/ hentai and the story fits in world of NausicĂ perfectly. One could seriously mistake it for canon.
And yeah, insect porn.
What is "punk" about Prophet?
I'll answer for you:
>nothing, I'm just a retard who affixes -punk to anything to describe a setting
en.m.wikipedia.org
I'd say it qualifies.
is this meant to have copy pasted Nausicaa or is there more to this?
