I was kind of expecting a scene where it showed the monsters ripping into Eleven, but then the camera pulls back and shows her and Hopper watching the monsters go into a feeding frenzy over nothing, then they look over and see her with her nose bleed tricking the monsters into seeing them to cause a distraction.

I got this feeling as well. Like the opening will be 001 brutally killing 008 and Eleven sees it. 001 wants to reopen the portal or something.

Personally, I liked it.

It'll be something like that, for sure. It's just to keep the series going. "Evil 11" will definitely be a thing. Will probably kill itself in a rage after breaking down from not being loved, probably in a scene where he/she/it saves the main cast from an explosion or something after seeing how they all love each other and have friends. We'll get painful flashbacks that parallel 11, where instead of being found by the kindly restaurant owner and winding up with Hopper and the kids the Evil one keeps getting treated like shit because it's ugly or hideous or something.

It wasn't necessary. They could have just saved it for for season 3 when it would have been relevant.

So I watched it the first weekend it came out totally drunk and thought it sucked. To actually get a real opinion of it I actually watched the second season totally sober and I basically have the same opinion. Obviously the chick in the OP had no reason to exist. I felt like nothing even happened. I mean obviously the whole facility failing and gouls going everywhere was a thing, but it really didn't feel like it went anywhere. idk.

Like it kind of makes you feel sorry for it because it just wanted some table scraps to survive and people are like sneering at it and saying shit like "ew, get out of here you fucking freak!" It has to kill in self defense which further makes people try to hunt it down until it pushes them to embrace being a killer.

At least the show finally had a hot girl.
