Illumination sucks

Better than Moana.

I liked it

This

this is something that goes to the 1$ dollar bargain bin at the wallmart.

unfortunately minions keep this company afloat.

I think I never watched, and never will.

Kys

Because every movie with anthropomorphic animals is automatically Zootopia now.

The same thing I think about diet coke. Might as well drink water.

Mina getting conscripted as Buster's minion was unexpectedly funny.

yeah it's annoying, Robin Hood wa decaded ago and no one said "wow, madagascar ripped that movie!"

I was disappointed because I wanted to hear the male pig sing more. It was alright other than that though.

>Robin Hood was a decade ago
>1973

meant decades.

havent woke up yet

porcupine was cute
judy was cuter tho hahaha
and real girls are even better than that
trust me

s'alright. I wish it was only a decade ago. So old.

Just watched this yesterday.

Was surprisingly good.

The whole father working his whole life to give you a dream job and then utterly failing at it. Hit me right in the feels.

It was nice. I didn't love it but it was worth the ticket price.

I just watched it online, not worth giving money to.

I mean, it wasn't bad, but there was really no reason for them to be animals at all, aside from a few animal related puns/sight gags, the story wasn't affected at all and no one brought attention to it.

I thought the ape boys story was cute though, and the final lineup of songs had a nice dramatic flair for each one, but overall, it was eh.

This movie is the definition of dumb fun and that's what I love about it.
The characters have no real goals and no need for the prize money. Hell, half way through the film it was clear they won't even be getting the cash. Participation in the competition was meaningless and they all still did it anyway, even Mike joined.
Strange, that a movie where the outcome doesn't matter was so satisfying to watch. As apposed to all the blockbusters trying to make the most memorable ending possible, but ending up with the same old generic garbage.

>Diet
but it was unironically way better than shitopia

Well, it invites the comparison with its lavish establishing shots of the city and its various accommodations for all kinds of animal life like the little waterways for fish.
Admittedly, it is not as extremely detailed as Zootopia is.
Everything in Sing is more or less human sized, but everything in Zootopia was accomodating of all sizes, even if it meant a train had to have multiple different doors and such

Sing is fun while Zootopia is SJW trash

I agree.

Go to bed, Ron.

I just saw this, it was fun little movie nothing to fancy or exciting but I liked it.
Rosita is best girl

The movie is as simple and catchy as radio friendly pop songs. It does almost nothing unexpected and its messages are broad, but it has no pretension otherwise. Its sole intent is entertainment, which it achieves with good comedic timing, efficient subplots, and brisk pacing.

Somehow, by being moderately decent in most aspects, it adds up to a good movie that isn't competitive with the best CGI films, but is still satisfying. As far as Illumination films go, this one also had the fewest groan-inducing moments. That counts for something.

Saw it with my niece and nephew, they liked it and I didn't hate it

7/10 decent kids movie and good music

Better than Secret Life of Pets

I want to Fuck the shit out of the pig milf

Eh I'd rather watch Surf's Up again

It's worth noting that a decent chunk of its already cheap $75 million price tag went to music licensing and the all-star ensemble cast. Given that their prior 3 films all broke or came near $1 billion in box office alone, Illumination wasn't hurting for money at all. But they're fiscally and creatively disciplined. They do just enough with their visuals. I kind of respect their restraint.

Yeah I was impressed with animation in the theater collapse scene.

The squid scene was also tastefully done. I feel like it would have been way more overblown had Disney or Pixar had done that scene.

All and all the music carried the movie, but I think that was probably the purpose. Still can't believe Seth Mcfarlane has such a great set of pipes on him. It's always shocking every time I realize that's his voice singing Sinatra.

>aaaaaaple slices

Bluray when?

Could have used more rabbit hips.

>In shower
>Fully clothed

...

Those do need to be cleaned you know.

It was a good movie and Sup Forums had a bunch of autists who likely havent seen it and dislike it with no good reason. The subplot with the Gorillas was particularly endearing.

>Those silhouettes when she changes
Had to rewind it a couple times.

>Still can't believe Seth Mcfarlane has such a great set of pipes on him. It's always shocking every time I realize that's his voice singing Sinatra.
They got him to sing the opening to the last Futurama movie because he can sing so much like Sinatra.

never will be as good as judy

This whole scene was fire

Do we have something better than the camrip?

Kiss cartoon put up a high quality version two days ago.

I actually liked it better than Zootopia since it wasn't trying to tell some sjw to the kids and it was just a genuine funny comedy with a great soundtrack (Seth singing My Way and Pennis From Heaven was amazing).

Also, I loved how they introduced a lot of characters and gave them their own screentime, unlike Trolls.

Rosita a qt tho

>Also, I loved how they introduced a lot of characters and gave them their own screentime

They were able to introduce a lot of subplots, give them clear motivations, and wrap all of them up without becoming cluttered. This kind of leanness is an overlooked virtue. It's something more ensemble films (i.e. superhero team films) need to work.

one of the worst animated movies in terms of pandering.

>All and all the music carried the movie

The music choices were fine, and they didn't overplay them, surprisingly enough.

It was a music movie without being a musical, and I appreciated that. Pop songs weren't used as a substitute for dialogue. This made Sing much more bearable than Trolls for me.

What's the meter, you don't like songs or something?

This was pretty amazing to be honest. I went in expecting song numbers and now that you mention it, I think this is one of few animated CGI movie in recent years that doesn't have the characters breaking out into song to progress the plot. Moana, Frozen, Trolls...

>you don't like songs or something?
How about original songs? How about songs that aren't just in the movie because "Hey, I know that song. I like it. This movie is good now."

How about no? This wasn't a musical.

Poorly written, poorly animated, cheap use of pop songs, but it had some good moments.

>This wasn't a musical.
It was forgettable garbage.

Awful. This was actually painful to watch. It's only redeeming part was the japanese red pandas

What did the koala say to them that made them angry?

'You stink really badly'
>canned laughter
Seth Macfarlane everybody!

Surprisingly good. I went in with low expectations and found it unexpectedly fun and charming.

Then again, I got paid to see it because of my job. I probably wouldn't have watched it otherwise.

I'm waything for porn of the mom hopefully with the kids

Trying to figure out how he managed to avoid jail when he was clearly culpable in assisting in multiple robberies.

I cried

I'm not blaming you or anyone else for liking it, user. But I didn't like the design or the writing of the movie. None of the jokes were funny, the plot was boring and predictable and the songs way past their prime to be enjoyed anymore.

I'm pretty sure I saw this movie, but I was far too wasted to remember anything about it. Other than wanting to fuck the pig.

>gee, i'm about to confess to feels better insult a bunch of faceless nobodies on Sup Forums so I seem more legit & feel superior.

Saw right thru you, brother.

>southern twang accent
>singing hit from down under

god forbid they have Aussie accents.

Well since he was gone doing the audition they only caught the main group, not him. And criminal code dictates you don't fucking squeal on anyone. The gorilla gang seemed like right proper gangsters, so the son won't be doing any time anytime soon.

>southern accents are such an extinct species outside of Georgia you can pass a southern accent off as a foreign accent
Having grown up in Alabama, this makes me sad.

Porcupine and Single Mom Roo were pretty goddamn hot as well. I'd stick another 25 kids into that pipmom though, if you catch what i'm throwin.

Haters gonna hate.. hate.. hate.

Which porcupine?

I dont care about what people think, I liked

The Koala is hot

And my penis gonna shake.. shake.. shake..

wtf happened to Mike and Nancy after this?
it's a long wait until Dec 25-2020 for Sing!2.

They didn't snitch on him and he was a lowbie. They caught the boss and main guys. They aren't going to go looking to lock up his son who was a lookout at worst.

The sexy one,

Just watched it right now on kisscartoon.

It was a lot better than I expected. The main group felt like a family which was really adorable, which I would've like more of but they were really rushing with all the different stories they had to focus on. And that was some good tear-bait with everything falling apart along with the theater.

Buster and his sheep friend were hot. Good pool scene and car wash scene.

Post any nice fanart of the movie you've come across please.

>How about original songs?
But user that takes actual talent and creativity, you ain't going to get that shit from a Macfarlane movie.

I'm excited for the sequel

It was never really explained how that mouse character got out of his debt

He took out 100k, thinking he would win the prize money but there ended up being no money so isn't he fucked?

No kids would watch it if it only had original songs.

The bank doesn't know that. He only told them he was coming into money, not necessarily the money from the event that turned out to not exist. Plus he skips town on the run from the bears if I remember correctly.

I thought the alpaca banker with the really long neck was cute.

he looks so ugly

> Sing home video release in March
> "what did you think of Sing" threads start appearing again

nice try

best waifur of all the movie, sorry Ashfags...

Her singing sucked compared to everyone else, though. They should have chosen a stronger singer for her actress.

>HD version gets put up on torrent sites.
>Everyone torrents it.
>ITS THE SHILLS!

It felt like there was supose to be more scenes to the movie especially dealing with these and also there were a few of senes and songs missing from the trailers.

>The bank doesn't know that. He only told them he was coming into money, not necessarily the money from the event that turned out to not exist.
He was taking out a loan, that's how he got that nice car otherwise he wouldn't be street performing and we last see both mice driving off with the same bear that was trying to kill him on the back of his car staring at them menacingly and that's it. I guess the sequel this though.

...

In debt to the bear mob and on the run. Maybe it's a premise to one of the storylines in the sequel?

I just hope the cute bar mouse is in the 2nd movie.

dat Gorilla Code is srs bidness

Best song in the movie?

Queen - "Under Pressure"

C
Crawly was pretty cute

I'm still standing.

Honestly didn't care for any of them but that's probably because most of them were only played for like a few short seconds. Looking at the credits was a highlight, seeing that long list of songs used in the movie only to have been played for like less than 5 seconds.
