You thought it was pretty good

best film ever made, a true piece of art

>tears aren't lost in the snow, they get frozen, never forgotten
Pure kino.

>chickflick Gosling and mom's gonna freak

Mistakes have been made

you thought it was the best film ever made, a true art piece that normies won't understand. You also feel sad that no film like this will be made again for atleast the next 10 years because normies hated it.

ryan gosling really is /ourguy/

numale core

I saw it last night, I already want to see it again.

What was up with the origami sheep that Gaff made? I have a hard time believing it's just a reference to the novel, there has to be something more since it also seems to reference the origami unicorn in the first movie.

i thought it was just something added to inform the audience who he was since he isn't the most recognizable person.

That it was visually impressive, but kinda boring. Also you wish that JOI technology will be avaliable before you die.

k is just a sheep, nothing special, like a unicorn, even though he comes to think he is, and on top of that, sheep are sacrificial creatures.

also, you can see the wooden horse has a little nub on its forehead from where a horn probably broke off

>what did I think?
Not much, apparently

tfw this won't get any major oscar nominations because some women on the internet called it sexist

Are you telling me

he isn't

Special K?

you thought about that girl that will never love you back

This. I'm going through this right now and don't know what to do

>wanting a girl that doesnt want you

the ryan gosling snl episode that aired right before br2049 premiered.

a little long but good. maybe better than the original.

She has no feelings for you, user. You're not making her warm inside, and perhaps she's broken. Unfortunately you are not the man that can fix her. There are many men that can, but you're just not one of them.

>secret jew
yup our guy

You formed your own opinion instead of asking strangers

>better than the original
Fuck off, reddit.

Both films are great on their own merits, the new one isn't trying to "outdo" the original, it is a completely standalone film.
But in some departments the new one is most definitely better, for example the romantic subplot of K and his virtual waifu is ten times more genuinely emotionally investing and moving than the absolutely flat romance with non existent chemistry we got from Deckard and Rachel in the original. And K is a much better and more explored protagonist than Deckard was in the original.

This is pretty much a non disputable fact.

> for example the romantic subplot of K and his virtual waifu is ten times more genuinely emotionally investing and moving than the absolutely flat romance with non existent chemistry we got from Deckard and Rachel in the original.
I don't know if the generals just spoiled too much, but K and JOI's love story wasn't that interesting to me. I vastly prefer Deckard and Rachel's love story, mainly because it didn't take up such a large portion of the movie.
>And K is a much better and more explored protagonist than Deckard was in the original.
K was just flat and boring to me. Don't get me wrong, Deckard was also a pretty flat character, but at least he showed some emotion.

>I vastly prefer Deckard and Rachel's love story, mainly because it didn't take up such a large portion of the movie.
It takes up a good amount of the film, you just forgot about it because no one ever talks about it when talking about the film, while in BR2049 it's one of the main talking points.
>but at least he showed some emotion.
What? When was the last time when you saw the original, because it seems like you have some imaginary headcanon about it. The only "emotion" Deckard has shown in the original is the slight confusion at the end, the entire film he is the same exact character. Hell, even Deckard in BR2049 has shown more emotion than the Deckard in the original.

>It takes up a good amount of the film
Rachel was in the movie for 21 minutes (22 if you count the theatrical ending), I'm pretty sure K and JOI's story was way longer than that
>What? When was the last time when you saw the original
Yesterday.
>The only "emotion" Deckard has shown in the original is the slight confusion at the end, the entire film he is the same exact character.
Plain wrong.
