Yfw Oberstgruppenführer Smith takes an interdimensional Einsatzgruppe through the Stargate to liberate our timeline
Is season 2 any good? Season 1 was great, but season 2 just passed without any hype, so i wonder
Could they make his title any more retarded and hard to pronounce? Obertitfuckerfuhrer
Season 2 is much better than Season 1 imo, the pace and the overall expansion of the universe is the biggest difference between the two seasons imo
I just want to know if that kind nip dude survived desu, why don't they shift their focus to the japanese empire for once, does anime even exist in this timeline or what?
That's the German language
Both seasons were great, it's a really solid show
It's aimed towards western audiences, focusing on the nips too much wouldn't really work, and normals would lose interest.
Okay Fuhreblattskrauthammer.
für sie
A lot better
>does anime even exist in this timeline or what?
It's a reverse situation with Japs being westaboos obsessed with western animation like Betty Boop
...I thought this show was supposed to be like alternate history not syfy bullshit
Truly the darkest timeline.
Is that Nonna and Katyusha?
this show fucking sucks, they literally couldnt make a story set in an alternate universe where the nazis won without adding fucking space magic and dimension hopping
it doesnt help that they made the main female settle down with a rice dick in the "true timeline"
From the very first episode films from our timeline and also ones that predict the future are mysteriously appearing. The sci-fi increases in Season 2 and it was much better than S1 with its boring but handy for the plot neutral zone
Ah shit we gonna get neutral zone again in S3 cause Ed and the antiques dealer are there now
they seem to be going beyond even what that the book was doing.
Man in the high castle episode where they show a universe where the soviets won and we can see this scene play out, when?
This, the show has had supernatural elements to it since S1, it's simply not an alternate history show, different league
>nazis and meta-universe
my dick can't get any harder!
It was. I watched 2 before 1 thinking I downloaded the first one. Confused at first at the pacing but still quite enjoyed it.
From whose point of view do we watch the show? Are the "nazis" (nationalsocialists) portrayed as "bad guys"?
Not really, as I can recall, Smith is a very decent and loyal family guy. The nips aren't that bad either. Some of the resistance is ruthless but of course mostly good. Honestly I watched both seasons and I wasn't irked
but maybe since trump and everything they'll try something else this time. who knows
Actually Nazi america looks like 10x better than it is now.
Of course it would be much better, I was just wondering if this show is worth watching in the sense that, do the show creators try to portray the nationalsocialists as "evil guys" with the main cast consisting of typical good guy resistance fighters.
The show portrays nazi america in 1962. america wasn't that bad in 1962 either
it's gotten huge flak for not doing that much, actually. The officer in the clip is the main character
The resistance fighters are painted as manipulative and backstabbing. Kinda spoilers, but one of the resistance leaders on the west coast basically convinces one character that their lover betrayed them, even though their lover actually helped the resistance.
Both the main Japanese and Nazi characters are shown as upstanding and honorable.
>do the show creators try to portray the nationalsocialists as "evil guys" with the main cast consisting of typical good guy resistance fighters.
No. In fact this is the shows strongest point. Unlike any other period drama/action of this sort, there's honestly good/noble people and horrible people on all sides.
That guy in OP's vids actually turns out to be a pretty strong protagonist (though beginning about exactly as a Nazi would, although a very honorable, ethical, and brave man; albeit with Nazi values). Some of the Resistance fighters are the nastiest sort of people. Even Grand Inspector Kido (the Japanese secret service regional officer) is a very nuanced man, he commits atrocity and honestly saves the day a couple of times.
So no. It's great at depicting moral shades of gray and acknowledging that even bad/flawed causes have their heroes and many honorable men.
It's a fantastic show because it's not a victim of the standard humans vs orcs trope. A morally white army fighting invincibly against a evil army.
It's one of the best things on tv, though I don't know many who watch (most people don't download torrents or have amazon prime), but everyone that does, loves it.
It's funny how Amazon made something like this. I mean they own the Washington Post after all
Alright thanks, acquiring season 1 right now.
GURPS RPG did it too, google Reich-5
German isn't actually that hard. It's usually very small words strung together because germans aren't too smart.
>panzer kampf wagen
>panther wagon for fighting
See in English, the words are even longer.
Panzer is armor not panther. Panther is panther.
Ah am retarded sorry about that!
Only gets better, user. Season one ramps up over time and season two continued with that momentum.
>"Why are there no locks on the doors here?"
>"Why would you need to lock your door in the Reich?"
:3
>without adding fucking space magic and dimension hopping
they didn't add that shit, that's an integral part of the source material you mong
