Will DC ever truely be kino again?
Will DC ever truely be kino again?
Heath Ledger was shit as the Joker... that character has NOTHING to do with the Joker either way...
Yes. It needs to completely drop Snyder and his vision from the start. Not halfway through production. He has caused nothing but trouble for these films. Bring in all new people to bring proper interpretations of these characters to life in legitimately good films. That's what people want. Not pointless deconstructions of these beloved characters in dark , convoluted overlong movies. And Snyder needs to stick to cinematography.
The point of those films are to make the characters how they would be in a more realistic world, not the comic book world, that's why arguments such as yours are invalid criticisms...
are you saying an adaptation shouldn't be an adaptation? I'm confused...
also let me recap
> The Joker - never has a plan - remember when he trademarked fish for the sake of it
> Dark Knight - Heath Ledger character keeps saying he is a dog chasing a car without knowing what he would do but in the end he reveals it was all according to plan and what he did with it was throwing it at Batman face...
Remind me again why do people even like this movie
>characters in movies are incapable of lying
>deconstructions of these beloved characters in dark , convoluted overlong movies.
Actually, that's exactly what I want. Batman v Superman is one of the, like, 5 actually good superhero movies ever made.
>Batman v Superman is one of the, like, 5 actually good superhero movies ever made.
Enough of this ironic bullshit already.
Most people don't and all the bad blood has finally come back to haunt them at the worst possible moment. Justice League was supposed to be THE DCEU film and it might flop.
Complain about it all you want but it was a a movie that had a lot to say. I'd take it over the tired saturday morning cartoon shit every other movie in the genre does any day.
I hate these 15 year old retards clogging up my board. You were 6 when The Dark Knight came out. Shut the fuck up.
>Dark Knight - Heath Ledger character keeps saying he is a dog chasing a car without knowing what he would do but in the end he reveals it was all according to plan and what he did with it was throwing it at Batman fac
no, he said I'm "like" a dog chasing cars, which means that's his way of getting shit done... the "wouldn't know what to do with it if he caught it", is just said to better understand that concept... he never said he doesn't know where he wants to go
>Remind me again why do people even like this movie
it's a fun thriller to watch, it has a "heat" vibe.
ebin boast friendo
was heath ledger patient zero for the opioid crisis?
nolan's movies are kind of shit to me after snyder kino
it just feels like crazy people playing dress-up in the real world, instead of them actually being superheroes/villains
I saw it when it released and already then felt like it was edgy. Sure, Ledger's performance was good, but the character itself seemed a bit hollow and on the surface.
Sometimes I just can't stand Nolan movies; the characters are there, the message, the drama but they're like... soulless. I would probably compare them to tjis absolutely american thing called candy apple: it looks delicious, sweet, like a candy, but on the inside its still just an apple.
These movies had good performances and interesting premises but are ultimately boring movies. Go rewatch them in 2017.
The Gotham series is pure kino.
I do agree tho
I think Jon Hamm would make a good Harvey Dent/Twoface
>food analogy
And a shit one at that as the apple portion is where you'd get real sustenance form.
It isn't ironic
Not until 'Shazam!' comes out
We will see a rising tend of better films, but not as quippy as this one and any Marvel film
>aquaman, will be directed by asian so critics will praise it
>flash, played by a jew, so critics won't hate it
>black adam, critics will hate it because they think the Rock is overexposed
>shazam will be fun and friendly kino
Seriously though, WB needs to hedge their bets and get "minorities" in leading positions in these films. That will ensure critics will praise them
No.
