>Extended version of the "History Lesson". 10 minutes long. Would originally open the movie and segue directly into Batman trying to recruit Aquaman in Iceland.

>Cyborg's origin. He wins a college football game, but is disappointed his father didn't come to watch him play. On his way back home with his mother under a heavy thunderstorm, he loses control of his car and they crash. His mother dies while he's grievously injured.

>Cyborg learning to fly.

>Batman and Wonder Woman discussing Aquaman.

>WONDER WOMAN: He said he'd fight with us?
>BATMAN: More or less.
>WONDER WOMAN: More more or more less?
>BATMAN: Probably more less.
>WONDER WOMAN: He said no.
>BATMAN: He said no.

>During the "History Lesson", Steppenwolf is shown to be capable of turning humans into Parademons. During the Battle of Themyscira, one of the Amazons corrupted by him commits suicide rather than become a Parademon.

...

I hated BvS. But it seems like JL would've benefited a lot from Snyder's complete control.

>Batman and Flash driving away.

Whedon Kino Quip

Why did they cut such crucial scenes?

>Lois at the Daily Planet. Another reporter complains about writing an article on a disappeared scientist. Lois - Who had lost her edge since Superman's death - quickly figures out that is the latest of a string of disappearances all connected to S.T.A.R. Labs.

>Cyborg finds out he can access the Mother Box's data bank.

>look at me! i'm like ironman!

>Mera visits Aquaman in Iceland and tells him he needs to return to Atlantis because "something is coming", but he refuses.

bump

>Aquaman returns to Atlantis and visits his mentor, Nuidis Vulko (Willem Dafoe), who lives in an outpost in the outskirts of Atlantis. Vulko brought Aquaman to Atlantis as a child, but he wa rejected by the Atlanteans for being a half-breed and eventually left. Vulko helps Aquaman reach Atlantis and encourages him to embrace his destiny.

MUH NAZIS TOOK THE MOTHERBOX

This is literally Iron Man but without the charisma

>Cyborg guarding the Mother Box after his father is captured by the Parademons.

OH NO NO NO

Hopefully saved for the standalone movie.

>Batman and Cyborg exchange in the tunnel.

>CYBORG: So you're the Batman. I didn't think you were real.
>BATMAN: I'm real when it's useful.

This movie legit felt wayyy to fucking short

>introduce characters!
>oh no fight!
>lets bring back superman!!
>final fight

>Tearful Cyborg watching Steppenwolf torture his father for information on the Mother Box.

just watched the movie. jesus christ what a generec boring shit

why are capeshit movies so shit?

>The Flash fights a Parademon.

>Nazis took the cosmic McGuffin that looks like a cube.
Are DC running out of ideas?

>cyborg tearing apart the boxes himself without that cringy superman help and after talk

>The Flash speeds the S.T.A.R. Labs scientists away from the fight. An explosion causes the ceiling to collapse, and he protects them from the debris, but misses a chunk, which Cyborg blasts at the last second.

There it is.

Seems silly to fuck over Cyborg when he's not getting a stand alone movie and may never return. Everyone else in the league already get shining moments or will survive this movie for another stand alone. But not Cyborg.

>The heroes arrive at the Batcave.

that was pre-Whedon, actually.

>CGI with a Mercedes

why even put cyborg in the movie if you are going to take out all the interesting scenes with him

Because Whedon hates blacks

>The Flash freaks about over being in the Batcave, awkwardly hugging Alfred then jumping into the Batmobile's driver seat and pretending to drive it while singing the 1960's BATMAN TV theme.

>Batman tells Wonder Woman about the Knightmare and how it inspired him to assemble the team.

wow it looks like Iron Man but without fun

Did they really eliminated all these scenes? Like half of them are shown during trailers, Then what the hell did they keep?.

>Cyborg holographically displays the Mother Box's history.

>This scene references a deleted scene from WONDER WOMAN where Wonder Woman's commandos are assigned to retrieve the Mother Box from the Nazis.

The superman fight scene also included a male cop who had a tank on fire thrown at him and he was saved by CYBORG yet again it was cut

>Batman studying the Mother Box's analysis of Superman's physiology.

Apparently the history lesson had dialouge from Zeus, Ares and two green lanterns.

>Batman and Wonder Woman visit Lex Luthor at Arkham Asylum to learn more about Kryptonian scout ship and whether it can be used to revive Superman. Lex refuses to comply and threatens Batman until Batman swiftly breaks one of his finger. Lex then whines and promptly gives Batman all the information he needs.

>The Kryptonian scout ship is filled with military personnel. Cyborg hacks into its servers and engineers an emergency lockdown so the heroes can sneak in.

Soooooooooooooooo

WB wanted to 2h movie and cut most parts from the trailer? Then Whedon had to make reshoots but to make it under 2h, because WB. Snyder haven't seen it and maybe won't for long time.

Great plan WB. How about just let Snyder do his movie (Ultimate Cut would been better in theaters) and after Snyder had to go how about WB you give Whedon to do what Snyder and he was planning and not to make 2h ultimatum?

And what is next? Aquman? Wan is raped by WB after this. And Shazam is just.

Then new Batman (Flash movie gonna make it happen) and Harley, Harley and Harley. In 2024...

I really hoper they release an Ultimate Edition of this movie.

So I this last night and noticed David Thewlis was credited was Ares but I completely missed him. Can anybody tell me whereabouts he was in the movie? I know lots of stuff was cut including some entire performances but he was still in the credits so he must be in there.

WB executives hated Snyder's cut of "Justice League". These are the guys that gave "Batman V Superman" a standing ovation and thought it had a shot at the Oscars.

He's in the Steppenwolf battle along with Zeus for a split second. Most of his stuff was presumably cut

Havent aquaman and flash already gone through 3 directors already and the batman movie has had batfleck pull out and a different director step in

Behind the scenes must be a fucking nightmare

With who? Snyder ain't coming back and the scenes he would have wanted in are unfinished. Whedon did his gig and now goes back to prepping Batgirl.

Snyder quips are terrible

>Cyborg interfaces with the Mother Box to revive Superman and has visions of the Knightmare future, in which Earth is ravaged by Steppenwolf's invasion spearheaded by an evil Superman.

Passable humor

>Extended version of Superman VS. the heroes. Notable moments include The Flash actually attempting to fight Superman and Cyborg rescuing a policeman from a piece of debris that Superman had hurled at him.

>Cyborg interfaces with the Mother Box to revive Superman and has visions of the Knightmare future, in which Earth is ravaged by Steppenwolf's invasion spearheaded by an evil Superman.

I fucking need this
Wasn't there meant to be another Knightmare but this time it was Flash having a vision?

>be Superman
>throw a tank at a cop
They are completely right for cutting it. Superman sperging out while Cyborg explains his suit is freaking out and then attacking WW was silly enough. Him throwing a tank at a cop is just shit

>But it seems like JL would've benefited a lot from Snyder's complete control
>originally wanted to show Darkseid
Nah, he's fucking retarded

>Lois and Clark share a moment in the cornfields of Kent Farm. The "I'll take that as a yes" scene.

But cut the BvS to 2.5h... Nice ovation.

Flash had three. Aquaman had only Wan and Wan is on still... But who know what WB want's. What was the point making Geoff Johns running DCEU if the runners are the suits?

Next idea for Flash is Flashpoint. But after JL flopped don't know what they will do with Flashpoint. It's a way to make soft reboot (seems like a plan for WB) and only change is Batman is Jake Gyllenhall.

...

>On their way to Russia, The Flash eats dozens of hamburgers while trying to come up with a codename for himself (He's never called "The Flash" in the movie).

>Superman returns to the scout ship and has it generate a new uniform for him.

>Superman meets Alfred in the outskirts of Ukraine. The "let's hope you're not too late" scene.

>Flash jokingly prays to the Speed Force for power before the battle.

what is it with everyone and this "reboot" shit? JL is a pap smear, yes, but not not so damaging. WB finally got heir tentpole nut out of the way, they can focus on cheaper solo titles like Aquaman or Deathstroke.

Why would Alfred be in the outskirts of Ukraine? Where was the final battle supposed to take place? I first assumed Chernobyl. Did they change it to bumfuck Siberia?

GOD DAMN YOU WARNER BROTHERS
YOU KEKS

>Cyborg's self-evolving Apokoliptian armor would eventually produce a faceplate, an additional set of mechanical arms and a wider array of weapons for him to use during the final battle.

>Lex refuses to comply and threatens Batman until Batman swiftly breaks one of his finger
Jesus Christ, Snyder cool it down.

THIS MAKES MORE SENSE THAN IT JUST BEING ABANDONED THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY AGAIN

>Wonder Woman behead Steppenwolf.

"Cyborg's story is in a lot of the ways the heart of the movie."
-Zack Snyder
"Cut all that nigger robot shit, we gotta get this under two hours!"
-Joss Whedon

>The Flash rescues his future girlfriend Iris West (Kiersey Clemons) from a car crash during the ending montage. He asks if she's alright, she says she is and that "it all happened in a flash" and it clicks with him.

But that's good. It incentivizes Lex to make his signature suit. He can't fight anyone, only outsmart and manipulate, however, it doesn't work with Batman so Lex needs to protect himself.
I'm sure that if it that scene were kept in, we would have a scene down the road where Lex gets his comeuppance.

Is this scene really fucking cut?

It was probably one of the best scenes in the trailers and Snyder was so proud of it he posted the storyboard on Twitter.

Fuck you wheadon

>they were going to have superman attacking cops

>barry exposes himself to some children. people start calling him the flash

>okay, I got it
>take out all of the backstory
>take out all scenes that were shot in order to help other ones make sense
>then replace them with shorter reshoots of characters making jokes
>Marvel money, here we come!

So all these scenes will be in the director's cut right? Will the movie be at least passable?

Well all are just rumors. But seems like Affleck is out and they need to do something with it. Because next Batman is younger.

Also with Flashpoint they can make it happen so fans can say "wow" and normies can say "ok"

They are not erasing all the movies. Just old Batman in them?

Or what the fuck? Can't know shit about what WB want's with Flashpoint and with Batman.

They used the location, time of day and actors but had totally different dialogue

How did they not learn their lesson from Suicide Squad?

No. Suicide Squad never got a proper unfucked release and neither will this. It's too much work.

Why were they building up to Cyborg's death if nothing happened?

real shame all his scenes were cut too, he was the best character in the movie.

With all this, it's clear Whedon's line about doing reshoots to add "connective tissues" were bullshit. They removed a lot of the existing connective tissue that Snyder had to, presumably, meet studio demands.

...

This is terrible move by WB. Supposedly Snyder was already forced to reshoot the film once already. Terrio's writing is all but gone now. Whedon's disgusting quips have put a vile smell on JL that no Extended Cut can fix. Unless it goes back and removes the Whedon parts. That's too much work for WB. They'll just blame it all on Snyder and celebrate being rid of him and in turn celebrate winning over a Marvel director. This film was more Age of Ultron than BvS or MoS.

The times we live in.

Not at all. Due to the leaks we know that some of this shit wasn't even finished.

Wasn't there also something about how batman was originally supposed to try to sacrifice himself in the final fight

The idea was to get Marvel's critics to love it and praise it and fuck the DC fans that supported them. The problem is those critics are loyal to disney shit and nothing else. Now you got a movie that mouse cucks hate regardless of changes and DC fans hate it because of the changes along with Suicide Squad's bait and switch.

We will never ever get Ayer's cut of the movie.

All those scenes would've made the movie great.

They should've delayed it

Had to find room for all those quips somehow, might as well cut out all the pathos from the black guy. Classic Hollywood racism.

>They'll just blame it all on Snyder and celebrate being rid of him and in turn celebrate winning over a Marvel director. This film was more Age of Ultron than BvS or MoS.

The hell? Whedon is as much to blame for this being a train wreck as Snyder. Why would they let him direct JL2?

This is all Whedon and disney's fault
the movie would have been perfect if they just let Snyder loose

It cheaper than to rent one

Snyder should've told WB to remove his name from the credits. It's obvious neither he or WB wants him to be credited for this film. It it was a Marvel film with none of the themes and stories Snyder was building up to in MoS and BvS. This is a huge knife in the back for everyone that liked the two previous films.
