Attack on Avengers

So what did guys think about this "crossover"? What were you initial reactions when this was announced? What about when it was released?

Personally, it felt like nothing more than a 8-page advertisement for both franchises.

>that part where the guardians of the galaxy show up
What a shitfest.

>tfw DC does better crossovers with fucking KFC

These comics had no right being so good. The Subway one was also pretty fun.

This is Marvel's shitty plan B, trying to court Sup Forums to replace the comics fans they're bleeding.

Will they unleash the brand new wave of cancer?

It was shit not worth the paper it was printed on.

I dunno, I guess the outcome of the titans being swatted like bugs was logical? They're really not in the same weight class as the Avengers.

It was... Pretty bad.

This came out before sales really started to suck.

If I recall correctly, it was written by the manga-ka of AoT himself.

I read it thinking it was a preview & that there would be more. Come to find out that it was the whole thing & there wasn't going to be more. That ending was as rushed as CW2 & just as dumb.
So all in all, disappointed.

So the Titans would be a trivial challenge for anyone above street level right?

I guess figuring out where to hit them would be a challenge, but if you aim for decapitation there's a good chance you'll get the nape as well.

Once cap found their weak spot that was it for the titans.

I don't know why the crossover but they fell down pretty hard. Plus there are numerous heroes they can call.

Like, how is it that Marvel is fucking up so badly? Like, DC seems to look at something and goes "How can we get the most of this premise" while Marvel goes "How long can I milk the political angle of this book?"

I recall only 10 pages.
Where there more?

Well, considering that Attack on TItan is fucking stupid and boring as all hell, this can't conceivably be good, right?

>The Subway one was pretty fun

Clearly you don't remember the part where aquaman had a cramp and Batman had to save aquaman from the FUCKING OCEAN!!!

Or the fact Black Manta and Ocean Master master plan also involved Stealing Subway sandwiches.

90% of the problems this crossover had are a result of letting the author of AoT write it.

When you're so used to writing decompressed stories, It's hard to compress everything you want to happen in several pages.

Nott defending it. Just offering up a reason.

Fucking stupid I'll grant you but boring as hell? Also yeah the crossover sucks.

Nah this is promotional son! Writers Hired for this have no idea what they're doing.
