Did you think this was surprisingly kino like i did?
this is the only capeshit I have liked in the new Marvel or DC era (starting with Iron Man 1).

it was the most dumbed-down and casualized take on Spider-Man they could possibly do
It proved only sony can do spiderman right.
>It proved only*Raimi can do spiderman right.
Penis Parker was the only good thing to come out of it.
Both ASM were also better than homecoming
...
She's disgusting in many ways.
List a single buzzword I used, you illiterate parrot.
It was surprisingly boring and stale for a Spider-Man movie that was supposed to get him back into the public consciousness
Opinions are opinions but if you enjoyed this I'm sure you wouldn't have any objection to the rest of the films Marvel's put out
It was the worst garbage i ever seen, there was no heart no soul, no nothing, just a small piece of the marvel diarrhea.
>after the memorable events of avengers... you remember right?
>the only bad guys in town starts gathering alien guns
>peter gets suit that renders his spiderman powers irrelevant for free
>peter gets friend computer genius assistance for free
>peter gets taller black girlfriend for free
>peter gets secondary mj waiting on the line to throw herself at him FOR FREE
>aunt may gets puding from horny guys FOR FREE
>bad guy gives spiderman information on main bad guy FOR FREE
Theres no challenge, everything is given, no danger no nothing its just plain boring and to make it better the movie ends when peter gets a BETTER SUIT F O R F R E E and refuses it, like woah, wowie, what a hero am i right guys?
Oh my god and don't get me started on the midget indian guy ''bullying'' parker with the most kiddy friendly taunts in the history
>penis parker
DAMN BTFO WOWIE HIS EXISTENCE WAS PUT INTO QUESTION
meanwhile raimi parker bully had everything peter desired from physical strenght, to money to popularity and even was dating mary jane, peter had to go through a lot to sniff them red pubes... this movie right here is for children and even worse, dumb children.
This sums it up. It's a problem with the Marvel formula. You know where you are going and the ride isn't enjoyable, just passable.
Never saw it. I'm fucking tired of rebooting spider man over and over and over and fucking over.
it was hot garbage
> mahvel does it = trash
> snyder does it = kino
>>peter gets suit that renders his spiderman powers irrelevant for free
>>peter gets friend computer genius assistance for free
Which he doesn't know how to use at all and that was the point, that he was trying to go from 0 to 100
THE SUIT SELF EXPLANATES WOWIE SUCH IS THE STRUGLE OF THE HERO TRULY VERY RELATABLE WOW 10/11
I was disappointed that homecoming meant stupid school dance, like stranger things wasting so much time on a school dance. I want to rip my own eyeballs out.
ur gay
>literally 5 seconds into the film someone is chastised for calling native Americans "Indians"
>literally 10 seconds in a black school news reporter is macking on blonde white girl
>the new black Mary Jane's WE speech about how the Washington monument was built by slaves
>both of Peter Parker's love interests are black
>villain's wife is black
>Peter's Mexican school rival has a white blonde girlfriend
>the oh so edgy Sup Forums Fuck Marry Kill scene with high schoolers fantasizing about old men, also participated in by a gay male
etc. etc.etc.
When is enough enough? I find myself more and more only watching old movies/shows.
Yeah, I thought it was quite good. Great sense of humor and manages to capture teenage ultimate Peter quite well. Great villain too. I still prefer the old Spider-Man trilogy though. Hell, even the ASM movies, which I didn't care for, still did Gwen and her death well. This one was just missing those higher personal stakes to a degree.
>marlet so insecure he brought up snyder for no reason
I expected a regular 7/10 entertaining superhero movie, but it turned out to be super fun. One of the best times I've had at the theater this year.
No i am not ok, this movie was absolute shit and everywhere you read about it people are praising it, theres absolutely nothing praisable about this hot turd, its just a 1h30m nickelodeon's spiderman tv show with special guest Tony® Stark™ from Iron Man®™™
spiderman movies used to mean so much to me now reduced to this pille of ashes with glitter on top ... just fucking end it.
I want holywood burned to the ground.
its unsalvageable.
It was quite good but you're asking for opinions on the wrong website, this is l i t e r a l l y a safespace for racists and sexists. Homecoming is disliked quite heavily here because of all the brown people and the use of women in it.
>being this butthurt over a funnybook character
You liked it because you and all your shitskin kin were over represented.
Sage for nonwhite.
Samefag
Look at this triggered snowflake.
no, it was disliked for stuff like this
kek bro stop being such a manchild
No. I was actually pretty disappointed after all the good reviews and a premise that I really liked the sound of (Spiderman with high school drama). It wasn't bad, but there wasn't much to the story; it ended up as a generic Marvel movie that hit pretty much all of the standard story beats of the franchise. And I say that as a person who likes most of the Marvel movies; the studio really should have just committed to the high school setting and made a movie that was actually different than everything else they've made.
I don't like how Donald Glover was in this. he campaigned to play Spiderman, which I would've been so down for, but he instead settles for a 2-bit asshole criminal role? He's close to an high-B-lister now after the success with Atlanta. I'm sure Donald wouldn't have been up for several movie commitments like the MCU requires, but still, that bugged me
Yes, though I can undertand the not muh spiderman and goddamn millennials complaints. I only wish there was more spectacle though, nothing compare to spideyvs goblin or octopus in that regard.
The characters all sucked. In SP1 & 2 we got some great moments between Peter Parker and Aunt May, Uncle Ben, MJ, or even that neighbor girl. In Homecoming we get the fat guy in a chair who keeps plugging the Death Star Lego set.
>xD I'm such a loser, social outcast, only friends with fat asian
>have 6 pack abs
Pick fucking one.
you can have a 6 pack while being a faggot loser, being muscular and being a faggot loser is also possible, having a Chad physique is however not compatible with being a faggot loser as you need money and friends and a healthy brain to attain it.
I thought it was alright. I liked the villain. I thought the new Spider-suit was kind of a neat idea. I didn't like how it focused too much on his friends, I don't care about them. Too much Iron Man. The Shocker is one of my favorite Spider-Man rogues and he sucked. However, Scorpion is my other favorite villain and they set him up for the next one and he looks awesome.
I'd give it a 6.8 out of 10.
yeah dude no matter how fucking autistic you are as long as you flex a 'cep you WILL get pussy
Too old for Miles
Michael Keaton made it worth the admission.
It's dog shit, the only Marvel Studios films worth anything are Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Vulture was based and I actually liked how they changed the school characters. I wasn't really excited for another peter beats up his old bully after getting powers scene after seeing it twice already.
Looks like a trans woman post op
It was fantastic minus the flat love interest and that weird looking angry girl.
Vulture was the first good Marvel villain, and the fact that he didn't Disney-suicide was great.
It was alright but still a gigantic missed opportunity kinda like TFA. Not enough character, too many gags
you know why this movie sucked? cuz the cast was ugly as fuck.
youtube.com
it was crap
I agree with this largely. My biggest issue with MCU spidey is that he is so sheltered and coddled. A big part of why everyone loves the hero is that he's beforehand a pretty average guy and even when he has superpowers he still has to deal with real-ass problems in his personal life. And despite those problems, and having lost his father figure, he carries on with a strong moral compass and a heart of gold.
MCU Spidey's biggest (non-vulture related) personal problem is whether or not he can make it on a fucking school field trip or fit in with popular kids at parties. He goes to a great school, has Tony to mentor him and provide him with equipment, and thanks to Tony he will never need for money or pretty much anything. The post-credits scene even did away with him having to keep his identity from his aunt.
Between all of this and especially the retarded found footage shit at the beginning of the film Peter comes off as whiny, self-indulgent, and immature when he is supposed to be the opposite (despite his age). Also, the complete lack of spider-sense was unforgivable and robbed the film of a few good set pieces.
Yeah. Comic Peter was basically on the path of being a school shooter or at least a moderate loser.
you know why the cast was ugly as fuck?
