Any thoughts on this?

I really loved it. Jeremy Renner probably could have given a few less dramatic speeches but still was probably my favorite movie I've seen this year.

Best thriller of the year so far imo

It was pretty good. I really liked the tension of the scene when they go to the drill site, Sheridan really know how to write a thriller. There was a bit of cheese though and people going flying when shot was a bit silly.

Oh man, I wanted to see it but the trailer just looked like it gave the whole fucking story away. I went and saw the Foreigner instead. (And almost skipped that after an "about" about the movie gave away the plot in general)
Am I, dare I say it, >tfw too smart to watch trailers?

it's ok but boring to look at. If it had been directed by someone else it could've been a classic.

stop watching trailers.

is The Foreigner good?

OLSEN THONG

Stop watching anti-white/white guilt propaganda
>ah bloo bloo life on le casino reservation sucks

THEN STOP DRINKING AND SMOKING THE PEACE PIPE AND FUCKING GET A JOB YOU LAZY SAVAGES

Back to your containment board faggot

Quite good! It's no drunken master but Jackie still fucks people up, although it's not a strict action movie

I'm not an indian dumb fuck, but you're not wrong.
What disgusts me most is the tribal land loopholes that allow drugs to flow through the US-Canadian border.

But it's also pretty funny that all the retards in my county go to the res in altona to buy their tax-free cartons, making the mouthwash-drinking retards rich while increasing healthcare costs and insurance for us. Not really

well... yeah... that's actually in the film? the native drug user is a criminal fuck up and the white protag literally lectures him on how he threw away his life.

The film isn't just about racism, sad little Sup Forumscuck.

I wanted to see Hawkeye smash Scarlet slag.

>imagine seeing the world through this lens from your basement

Its not that scary out there dear Sup Forums soyboy.

I haven’t seen a good movie in years. The last good movie I saw was Space Odyssey.

how the fuck did you not like La La Land

not him but I hated the ending. Nobody cucks The Goose!

I liked this guy when he shat on Baby Driver even though I thought he went too far but after this he's a confirmed retard.

It was garbage

multiple people do it like the cop who visits the house when he's hopped up
no subtlety at all this movie

The Foreigner is great but it's not really a Jackie Chan movie. It's kinda two stories in one, a revenge story and an organized crime drama. Chan wasn't heavily involved in this movie. I honestly think he's maybe on screen for like 30 minutes but I think it makes a better movie for it. Just adjust your expectations.

It was good, though I thought the Jon Bernthal cameo was a bit jarring. He just sort of Jon Bernthal'd around before getting a rematch of that prison fight in DD season 2 and losing.

It's pretty good. I've said it on Sup Forums a few times, but Sheridan shouldn't have directed it. He was competent enough, but his last two movies were elevated significantly by having two talented directors.

While I liked this film, I wasn't as bowled over by it as I expected given the amount of hype around it. It's a very linear film. I remember the old detective at one point saying "This thing is practically solving itself" and then it basically did. They found a few clues, followed them and caught the bad guys.

Performances were decent, action scenes were tense and the scenery looked nice. The plot just really didn't grip me though.

Also, what were the security guys going to do if they had killed all the cops? I'm guessing they'd radioed base to tell them where they were going, were they just planning to continue to try and ambush everyone else who came to investigate? It seemed a really extreme reaction to the crime they committed.

That's generally how his movies go. Sheridan started off as an actor, so he approaches his movies from an actor-focused perspective. Hell or High Water just involved two police officers camping out in front of a bank and waiting for it to be robbed. It's more about the characters or the themes in Sicario's case.

There's a running theme about how the police don't really give a fuck about what goes on in a reservation. That's why they sent a junior FBI agent there instead of a proper one. They probably expected that the issue would just go away with time.
While the FBI probably would follow up on a murdered agent, before the shooting started they were completely unaware any of the officers were with the FBI and were surprised when they found out she was one.

Prolly top 5 film this year imo, i really enjoyed it.

also this. i sort of thought that it was the last resort for them and if it worked out they'd have plenty of time to just flee and hide out until anybody could find the bodies/what happened

/out/ kino

i didnt liked it
