I like mia
It started strong and had a good atmosphere, but the ending was pants on head retarded.
gf and I broke out laughing after they ripped the villains face off and he was a demon
lmao
people kept shushing us
My thoughts exactly. It started as creepy as fuck psychological thriller and then for some reason ended the way a dumb phantasy adventure film would end. I guess Verbinski can't stop putting something from pirates of the carribean into his movies.
He wasn't even a demon, literally just a 200 year old burned guy who managed to live that long by synthesizing a formula that gifted him with long life. Or some shit. Fuck it was stupid. Should've just ended with the protagonist sitting on the bench, staring out at the mountains.
Lost the beautiful photography halfway through, and most of the film's 'good cinematography' was just stunner shots inserted between meh stuff
Also what the fuck were they thinking with the cast/budget? There was no way this movie was going to succeed
jew
I didn't like the color tones.
Visually beautiful, awkward overall.
first hour was superb but the rest of the movie went off the rails

She's fine as fuck
Nice buildup, ultra retarded scorpion king cgi shit ending
She's an ugly bitch with no eyebrows.
Eyebrows are overrated
I use the meditation segments in the DVD extras. They take me somewhere.
she makes me want to get a wife to have a daughter so I can inbreed with her to have another daughter who I'll inbreed with for a third daughter.
...
Started out good, turned to giga-shit halfway through
are the eels going inside her bottom?
If the scene had lasted long enough, they'd slither out her mouth.
Incest is hot.
...
it was really annoying how the guy kept fucking shit up in the hospital and they didn't do shit about it. also how the hell did he survive having his stomach pumped full of eels?
I really enjoyed it. Comfy
The title makes it sound like it was written by that weird girl in your sophomore english class that listened to St. Vincent and tried to become a lesbian in college.
Yup.
Although it was a sort of disappointing twist its still pretty great imo. Its like Valerian: a BIG flopping fucked up passion project. Good actors, music, cinematography and narrative.
Maybe a bit overlong but otherwise pretty enjoyable i think
Falls apart and like another user said should have ended with the protagonist on the bench, but despite that it's still well-done technically and it was nice to see gothic horror amongst the deluge of 80s throwback chic
