I saw the Devil

The koreans love their revengekino

The first Pirates of the Caribbean.

not blue ruin, that's for sure.

>some ugly bum wants to get revenge on some ugly loser rednecks
who fucking cares

Last of the Mohicans has a lot of revenge themes. Shawshank Redemption is pretty much a revenge movie if you think about it.

I've been on a Gibson kick lately and watched Edge of Darkness and Payback again the past week. Both are good revenge flicks in my opinion.

The Limey

Unforgiven
Oldboy

jeremiah johnson

What's Sup Forums's thoughts on The Revenant?

Death Wish 3
Lady Snowblood
7 Days
Crippled Avengers

I only looked at thumbnail before replying sorry

I thought the same

>Out of the Furnace

One of those movies that are boring as fuck, but the ending makes it up for it.

Those Meli Gibson action revenge 90s flicks

I watched it with my dad and he didn't fall asleep, so its got that going for it

couldnt get behind the "protagonist" in blue ruin
the bad guy served his time, and meanwhile they want me to root for some homeless shmuck waiting to get his chance? no thanks.

Harry brown

based Alfred going rampage after chavs and hoodrats

This was kind of a less serious Brit Gran Tarino.

this is bait right?

explain yourself,friend.

that's the entire point, revenge isn't glamorous or worthwhile.

The Hateful Eight isn't a revenge movie so much as a whodunit stageplay with Tarantino gore, but damn if that ending didn't give me the slightest little revenge boner.

Anything with Charles Bronson

Blue Ruin is the best one out of all the films that have been mentioned so far.

It's a great film.

...

but the whole point of the movie was that the redneck family was 100% in the right. Adulterers deserve a painful death.

Dead Man's Shoes is great, user

I think it's more like the point of the movie is that the redneck family wasn't 100% in the wrong, because stuff like revenge ans family feuds are messy, complicated affairs. Going on a Bronson-style rampage is never going to be clear-cut or reasonable in real life, and ordinary men don't magically transform into hyper competent killing machines just because their family was murdered.

Hang'em high would be my first answer
also a mexican movie called My son, the hero

This

What is this from? I cannot remember the last time i saw a 181 series Mini 14 GB on screen.

I really liked out of the furnace

This is the best revenge film out there. Followed by A History of Violence.

smelling your doo doo in the bowl is good revenge from the food for you eating it

yeah i like it too. it hurts in there!

Blue Ruin

i prefer A Sistory of Travolpance.

The Gift.

Goddamn that white girl's ass is outstanding.

>YWN have a phat booty 80's cutie ride your cock

The pain is unbearable...

yeah this thread is full of fucking plebs that didn't even understand the movie

Revanche gets better every time.

I Spit On Your Grave

Well, thank fuck. Somebody finally posted the greatest revenge film of all-time. Glad to see not everybody here is a millennial soyboy.
>it's your time, boy

Shotgun Stories

Let's go with the whole trilogy with Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.

>STILL no release date in the country where I live

Is this good? Synopsis make it seems interesting enough.

...

came here to mention this and The Crow.

Death Sentence and The Brave One haven't been mentioned, kinda mediocre but fans of the theme might like 'em.
