Why doesn't anybody talk about this show? Could it actually be too smart for the average American?

Is there even a point of watching it past season one?

If you like it, why would you stop?

It's the Rick and Morty of tv series
Appeals to stupid people who want to feel smart

pretty dope show desu shame mass email is a cuck tho

Ehh, I don't know. I've seen that cringy rant about religion and it made me lose my interest.

>It's the of the series

Your post is rick and morty of posts on this board
it makes you feel smart while in fact you're dumb as rock

no point because its getting canceled

Because season two was shit

I'm late for my church meeting, peace

>too smart
you are full of shit

Nah, I'm not even religous, but this subject is soo easy to attack nowdays, and he was talking about it like fedora edge master.

I feel you, it's a soft target

One of my favorite shows desu, OP.

Forgot it was out. Just watching ep 3 now. It's interesting that Sup Forums hasn't talked about it at all when s1 and s2 had generals while it aired. I'm not sure if that's because this place is a Sup Forums shitshow or if people just stopped caring about the show. Probably a bit of both.

>I've seen that cringy rant about religion
Well the show deals with characters that are against control, what would you expect?
Bare in mind that it's not actually presented in a positive light, like YouTube videos would have you believe. The scene was there to show that Elliot is losing control, and is becoming like Mr Robot. He runs off at the end of the scene, and later goes back to apologise, and continues to sit in with them.
This is what Esmail said:

The people in the comment section who were probably circle-jerking about how evil religion is likely didn't pick up that it wasn't meant to be a 'good' moment for Eliot.

Well yeah, maybe I just lost context on that one.

Maybe you should swing by this evening when there's a thread made for it everytime it's on.

Idiot.

queue the fucking rick and morty copypasta

S3 Episode 5 was incredible. It was a whole 50 min episode of children of men style single shot camera work. I know they would have cut it during close zooms etc but it was still intensely gripping to watch. A++

When the camera panned up and over the exterior wall of the building showing the riots below then back inside again I lost my shit.

Is Esmail still directing all the episodes?

lol what. thats not at all why i watch the show. i a lot of the cinematography, how some of the scenes are, the characters, most of the story, etc.

Season 2 shat the bed. The election blew the politics in the show out of the water.
Subversives and progressives are no longer "le freedom fighters" in the public's eyes.
Everyone's sick of trannies. And the people who do want the world to burn are too
blue-balled to tolerate another season of muh non-linear lateral-reality
deconstructionist cock-teasing.

I really don't see why /tpg/ were going on about how The Return was bringing 'surrealism' back to TV, when there were already shows like Mr Robot and The Leftovers

literally nobody thinks that

Sup Forums only talks about things ironically. It brings up the most popular shows/films to shit on, or brings up shit films to hold up as 'kino'. Mr Robot is neither popular enough nor bad enough to meet either requirement.

We have threads about it everyday.

I like the show but it's not smart. You can do anything with a unreliable narrator, it's easy.
>tell you one thing
>show you one thing
>BUT WAIT
>we really did this

This. That episode redeemed the shit of S2 and S3 up to that point.

What kind of ratings does USA tend to get? Is 1 million an episode enough for them?

WWE gets about double that
