BRAVO CHARECTER OPTIONS for first post
Name a better hugkino.
Reminder that gadget era incoming
I remember when, during Series 8, we wee wondering whether 12 would be using lots of gadgets, like in The Caretaker. It would have been nice to see more of those.
Jumping Man wins again.
Yes please! Capaldi's sonic's main drawback is that it's design is not conducive to insertion into orifices.
Pic related perhaps?
>Poseable
...
The lighting in that shot is actually pretty weird, I spent a few seconds trying to figure out which one was lifting the other up.
Love when the Doctor makes gadgets. Tennant's spinny dish and the phallic-looking Adipose tracker were fun alternatives to the overused sonic.
...
For each one of these people they're only seeing her once, how obnoxious must she be to get such a sad reaction out of each person.
>tfw capaldi opts for using an actual screwdriver while tinkering.
Have those people in the background been photoshopped in?
He makes sonics for the show, and custom ones too. Lots of interesting designs if you scroll through, but most of them are based around 11's sonic.
Reminder that based Nardole returns for the Christmas special.
I thought the same thing. Thinking that it was Nick Briggs on the phone
...
kek!
I like Thirteen's hair in this pic, but she really looks like Brigadier Kate in this one.
b-books count, right?
I'm pretty certain it is!
It's not the best.
it's GOAT
nope
I'll bet you a (You)
>Yes please! Capaldi's sonic's main drawback is that it's design is not conducive to insertion into orifices.
I'm sure you'd know all about insertion into orifices.
...
Hey does anyone have that picture of that thing 3 built that looked exactly like a dick?
So 13 will be wandering around in their old outfit for a bit like 11 did?
If so, then that's pure kino.
What is Graham thinking in this picture?
Yep. She might be doing it for the whole ep.
...
It's a shame they resized the outfit. It would've been adorable if she was absolutely swamped in 12's clothes
"Why the fuck did she duct tape a car battery to a cooler?"
It still looks oversized on her. Since she seems to be wearing it for at least a portion of the next ep it probably wasn't practical to have her try and wear clothes that would literally be falling off of her
is it me or is her coat oversized at least?
>"I've made a huge mistake"
pls
It is. Check the sleeves in this pic >"Now, now, my new friends. You gotta carry my gadgets if you want a ride in my blue box."
(The above isn't meant to be lewd.)
There's a thread on /doctorwho/ if you're interested in that sort of thing.
She looks great in It.
Brigg's keeping a watchful eyestalk on his star.
>Booby trapped bovril. That will show em.
>Know where this key is going?
>'I'm a Time Lord,' said the Doctor. 'From the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous.'
>'Moreover,' said the Doctor, carefully pushing his salad bowl into the centre of the table, 'I'm a former President of the High Council of the Time Lords, Keeper of the Legacy of Rassilon, Defender of the Laws of Time and Protector of Gallifrey. I'm called the Bringer of Darkness, theOncoming Storm, and the Evergreen Man.
...
What I find funniest about this pic, is that 13 looks like she's posing, while Graham looks mad.
Why are we only getting 10 eps of Jodiekino, guys?
>(The above isn't meant to be lewd)
mmhm
>'Doctor Shackle?' she asked. He grunted in the affirmative. 'I'm Sam Jones.'
i just went to /doctorwho/ and they still have shit trips 1 pinned with no mention of 2
There's no way to make that joke work without it sounding lewd. But 13 wouldn't sexually extort her companions!
Where's Sam Jones in this pic?
>(The above isn't meant to be lewd.)
A likely story. Or were you implying that she can't carry her own things? Hmmm?
Oh hell.I tweeted it and forgot to put it up there. I'll remedy that.
Doctor Whore
I feel fairly certain that the first time we see Eight being referred to as the Evergreen Man is in a later EDA, but it's odd, because Vampire Science was written two years prior to Autumn Mist, yet it mentions that title. Maybe it was just thrown in there randomly and then an author later picked up on it, or perhaps Autumn Mist was planned extensively from the start? It wasn't a particularly important or exciting novel, so I'd be surprised.
Either that, or I'm totally missing something important and the title didn't actually originate in the EDAs, but I can't remember...
What's this from
Well...um.. she's literally using one of her "friends" as a person to carry her gadgets while she poses in one pic. The BBC started it!
And, of course she can carry her own things. But she makes her friends do it anyway. For fun.
Hypothetically, on a purely what-if basis, if I as planning on writing erotic fan fiction featuring Cassandra, how would one have sex with her?
burrito style
If male: wrap her around you cock
If female: oral
Seeing I, one of the EDAs. It's an excellent book. If you plan to give it a read, I recommend going through at least Longest Day and Dreamstone Moon beforehand. They aren't on quite the same level of quality (although, neither are bad) but they're pretty important in establishing context for Seeing I... of course, you don't necessarily need that context, but it's up to you.
I would advocate for reading the entirety of the EDAs, but I know not many are willing to get through so many books. They're good though, I promise.
Through VR, where both of you can have bodies.
Or, well...she does have a mouth...
Why would you (hypothetically) write this?
It's something the world needs
But I'm part of the world...and I don't need this.
>Sir, It's Paul, he's gone, he's not in the basement!
>Nick: It's okay, i took him out.
>But why!?
>Give him a taste of freedom, and then quickly take it away. Crush a part of his soul he thought no longer existed. This will bring out his true potential for our Time War Boxset. A man so defeated, he can no longer tell hellish fantasy from hellish reality. He will experience the madness of the time war himself, and we will experience it through him.
>Sir, that's magnificent!
>Paul: Please take me home :(

Shit, I'll look into it. Although the only 8 I've seen is Night of the Doctor so I might be a little lost
There's nothing more liberating to see a man removed from his chains but there's nothing more distressing than seeing a man want for nothing else but to be chained again.
ok i feel like rewatching world enough and time, and the doctor falls, i'll put them in the stream incase any anons wanna join me
You're only one seven billion four hundred and thirty six million seventy thousand seven hundred-oddth of the world though, you don't get to decide
To get rid of the filler eps.
Eps are only filler if writers can't think of decent stories (see most Gatiss eps)
By "filler", do you mean "stories that don't contribute to the story arc", or "mediocre eps"?
A series of 10 can still have filler if the writing is shit
based Emma
I actually liked Night terrors? But not any of the others he did...
Gb is a hell hole
guy needs to be pegged and let the woman take the manly role, anal is great once you get over the ick factor, can be completely clean and beneficial too as prostate massage can help lower risk of prostate cancer, just gotta take it slow and steady and use lube.
But series 10 had 12 eps. Episode 3 and 4 were complete filler. Take the 2 filler eps out, and you get 10. Simple math.
>people complaining about filler when talking about a motw show
Fools
but doesn't anal increase the risk of ass cancer?
>There's a thread on /doctorwho/ if you're interested in that sort of thing.
Well shit, you actually do know all about that sort of thing.
Depends how you define filler. Also, you can only really say that with hindsight.
Take it to its extreme, make a series 3 episodes long so there's definitely no room for 'filler', but even then there could be a filler episode.
He sounds like he's asexual, which is fine.
That pic is mostly likely for the Inferno, which is meant specifically for sex talk. There's no need to mock people's private stories amoung other forum members.

Yeah, there's always a couple of duds every season, why don't they just not make the duds?
Happy 54th anniversary
>He sounds like he's asexual, which is fine.
It honestly sounds more like he's got depression.
Tomorrow.
oh wow, that sneaked up on me. Didn't realise it was coming up. Happy B-day Dr Who
Could be wrong but that could be due to HPV.
Tbf it was by request.
GB is a hellhole, although for entirely different reasons than inferno.
You should be okay! The EDAs do get pretty arc-heavy as you get further in, so it's not as easy to just hop in and read a story at random, but the earlier books are mostly just self-contained adventures. The storyline formed by the books I've named (Longest Day/Dreamstone Moon/Seeing I—and, technically, a fourth book that I don't really count in this context...) is an example of one of these little arcs in the overall series, but it's short in comparison, and you shouldn't require any additional context to know what's happening. However, it does throw you into the middle of Sam's time with the Doctor, but seeing as those three books are very defining for her character as a whole, it should be okay. Just nod and accept anything you don't understand.
Also, if you'd rather not just jump into the middle of everything, and might be interested in reading the EDAs as a whole, then I do recommend you start at Vampire Science. The first book in the series (The Eight Doctors) is pretty rubbish and doesn't ever get mentioned again. Actually, there's a few of the initial books that are comparatively poopoo, and you're free to skip those if they don't tickle your fancy, but starting out at Vampire Science gives you a good indication of the quality of the EDAs as things get further in. I promise, it picks up, and gets a lot more experimental in all the best ways.
Oh, and you don't need the context of the TV movie for any of this, but I would recommend it anyways just because... well, it's Eight's origin story, essentially. People will say it's not very good, but I do think it's fun, and even if the rest of the film is on shaky legs, the Doctor himself is wonderful in it.
Sorry, got carried away there. Books!
just watched wired. jodie was great in it.
Timezones. It's not yet the 23rd where I am either, but I'm guessing it's after midnight in the UK, which for this anniversary is what counts
Yay!
Alright. Well, happy b-day, Doctor Who, have a nice time with Jodie.
...
Thanks for all the info friend, I think I'm gonna start with the movie and move on to Vampire Science
What's the best story for each Doctor?
Yeah, that implies one knows what filler is.
A whole lot can change from script to screen. An awesome script can turn into "mediocre" eps by the end. No one sets out to make mediocre eps.
Also, that implies mediocre eps are universally seen as such. Listen is critically acclaimed and widely liked on /who/, yet there's one user around here who says "Listen" is filler, and there are good arguments to support that.
He might. But even if he does, all the more reason not to mock him (and when we post GB pics, it's usually for mockery).
GB has good and bad parts. I stick to the fanfiction section, and the spoiler forums, and never have had a problem with getting banned or anything (though I've seen some real trolls, too).
Having watched some of Jodie's performances, I like how she can be the most bubbly person, but when she starts acting mad, you really feel it.
Good choice. The movie's worth it for McGann's performance as Eight, and some funny campy bits.
Watch Doctor Who's 2017 Christmas special before anyone else thanks to early BBC screenings

>Be aware that the final few minutes of 'Twice Upon a Time' will be held back from these screenings, in order for the first appearance of Jodie Whittaker as the Next Doctor to debut worldwide on telly on Christmas Day.
>Having watched some of Jodie's performances, I like how she can be the most bubbly person, but when she starts acting mad, you really feel it.
the scenes where she cries are sad too desu. really great performances. man i cant wait for her to be the doctor
