What does Sup Forums think of the new (post adventure-time) era of cartoons. I saw pic related on the plane today and I really enjoyed it, I thought it was way more clever and creative than the original series. It held my attention way better then any of the other reality-trash that was on. maybe I'm just a manchild

you are a manchild. less than a manchild. if you think songs about waffles are funny , you're part of the problem.
Its dumbed down for the modern adolescent. Rugrats was more thought provoking than this crap.
>criticizing a children's cartoon for not being thought provoking
Fuck off Mr Enter, your opinions aren’t fact and never will be.
the jokes are pretty sophomoric but the idea of the song "The night begins to shine" being able to transport you into another dimension is pretty clever.
>24min episodes of actualy storylines get shelved for 12 minute plot-less clips
its conditioning kids into even shorter attention spans
That's what is entertaining about it imo, it's not really trying to hard for your attention. It's basically like "here's 12 minutes of nonstop jokes some are funny some are not." I'd rather watch that then some mediocre 24 minute plot.
Also the "night begins to shine" was a full plot and it worked pretty well.
Sounds like Bojack Horseman for kids
Yeah it's pretty much that
Kill yourself, that cancer is being spammed on CN and have effectively ruined the channel
Kill yourself TTG shill
>He doesn't get paid do shitpost
>He does it for (free)
Well I rewatched the whole original series recently. I liked the plots and still really liked the characters, but thought the worst part about it, or any of these old DC superhero cartoons really, was the action scenes. TT was better than most since the team's powers worked off each other, and they'd occasionally do more interesting stuff like some of the Mad Mod sequences, but even then a lot just felt like padding. I couldn't get through Batman Beyond because of that. So if this is just the old personalities interacting some more I might watch a bit.
What else is even on offer at CN? Every other show that could otherwise fill timeslots I've been peripherally exposed to seems godawful.
Steven universe is better then this shit
Didn't The Looney Tunes Show do the same thing years earlier?
The adventure time style has paved the way for some really solid content.
Honest to god you can find some absolute kino on modern kids channels.
There is no modern "era" of cartoons. Look at what TTGO airs alongside. Answer? Nothing. It occupies the entirety CN's schedule.
Thats not bad honestly
