Is 24 a good show? I just downloaded the 1st season, what am I in for?

It was pretty good at first, went downhill a bit later on though. If you like fast-paced thrillers like the Bourne films then you'll like 24

Everyone you think is good is secretly a spy and everyone you think is bad is actually good.

extremely fascist show, really doesn't make sense

ticking clocks

dammit OP

Season 1 is slow. Gets better from season 3 to season 5. Then gets worse.

Season 1 might be slow but said slowness also makes it feel more real since a new layer of bad guys isn't revealed every 5 hours

Nice series with a cool gimmick, enjoy.

Season 2 is literally the best season thoough

IF YOU ALL SURRENDER TO ME IMMEDIATELY I WON'T KILL YOU

Only reason why it's better than season 4 is because of George Mason and the original set of politician characters

Season 4 is shit though, the villain "Habib" escapes in the stupidest ways

If you’re a liberal you will hate it. Otherwise, have fun

wtf i love torture now

Season 4 is shit, yes. Season 2 is barely better is what I'm saying

My top three would probably be 3>5>2

A new appreciation for Kiefer Sutherland.
Enjoyed the first 3 season
4 sucked
5 was the best
Everything after 5 is pretty forgettable.
LAD is a lot of fun.
Skip new 24 with black bauer

Replace 2 with 1 and have them be in no particular order and you have mine

Good ranking

Season 1 has a lot of cool moments. The Blacksite Prison was cool

went off the rails when Jack turned into a zombie. Glad they found the antidote.

> THAT'S JACK BAUER!

A must see then

One of my favorite bad shows. It really is so bad it's fucking good.

exactly

Great whenever the show focuses on the main plot of the season and Kiefer gets to kick some ass, shoot people, torture them, do some crazy shit etc.

Fucking awful whenever the show switches to filler subplots, which happens in every episode unfortunately.

>Tell me where the bomb is or I'll force feed you pig shit and shove the koran up your ass!
Damn I forgot how different the 9/11 years were

...

find a worse, longer drawn out subplot

Is Elisha qt in it?

Palmer is a terrorist
Chloe kills Jack's daughter
Jack kills her

...

Agreed. Wasn't a complaint but some folks will look at season 1 and the later seasons and notice a clear increase in plot being shot at you.

5>9>1>2>7>3>8>4>6

only in season 1 & 2
1 for sweaty teen tits
2 for tank top with nipple pokies
After that she wears suits

my favorite Jack stab is when he's hiding out in the convenience store from the merc crew and he pops out of a coat rack and shivs the dude in the back of the neck

that shit was brutal

does this show have any romantic subplots that ruin the show?

...

...

George Mason >>>>> Charles Logan >> Jack Bauer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the others

All romantic subplots lead to Jack going Uberkill

nah, the sexual frustration makes Jack even deadlier.

the fucking puma stalking Jack's daughter was the best part of the series. Literally nothing came out of it.

...

It's shit, watch something else

I honestly really didn't like that. That was Jack just flat-out executing someone who was detained and no longer a threat and no one ever questioned it

when Jack killed Nina in cold blood for revenge he at least went through the trouble to cover it up and there was at least a minor investigation, Jack just tosses a handcuffed Margot out a window and no one cares

Yeah, and Jack becomes ever more vicious during the later seasons. He bites a guy to death and nearly kills his brother with enhanced interrogation. Its well worth your time..

By that point Jack had a license to kill

spotted the faggot

spotted the marvelfag

>nearly kills his brother with enhanced interrogation
Still pisses me off that they got rid of him so quickly.

its good action and drama, characters are shallow and 90% of interaction goes like this
>jack is always perfect and correct while no one else believes him except for chloe
