It's not even really female power fantasy. Most of the main people are men, and it's two men that came in and saved the day. The scene with them holding things off with guns? It did not last long at all, the started riding horses into the building and killing them with ease. It's Roy and the Sheriff that came in at the end and stopped it. They only held off like that did in the first place because of their position.
