Jerry Seinfeld wasn't funny at all, he was basically the straight man that man all the other characters funneir

wat

Literally a thin George Costanza.

Together they were great. But only after season 2. Fight me

How do you go from that?

Larry was funnier initially

When Seinfeld took over in S8 and 9 it held it's own
it sorta became it's own meta-Seinfeld show, still maintained the quality

I don't find Curb funny at all, so I'm probably not the best judge

larry. altho the Seinfeld seasons without Larry weren't as bad as you'd expect

This, they just end up in awkward and funny situations, often jumping the shark.
In a few decades people will realize this.

god damn julia is hot in that picture

fun fact: larry and richard met in hebrew camp and hated each other.

Not really comparable. Seinfeld is one of the greatest standups of all time but a pretty shit writer; Larry's a terrible standup but a fucking great writer. Hence the Super(Jew)Team

>Hebrew camp

I bet it's not a sports camp.

>Seinfeld is one of the greatest standups of all time but a pretty shit writer
it's all attitude

Is Seinfeld really that great a standup? I hear that shit all the time but whenever i watch his standup i dunno its just alright

That's the idea

...

>Quest for Camelot
worth watching?

imagine how they all felt during the closing seconds
there must've been a giant sigh of disappointment in the air

the finale was shit though

>I bet it's not a sports camp.

Agreed. You can tell it was mostly David's writing, he hated and resented the sucess of the Kramer character. That's why he has less than 15 lines in the entire finale, most of which are just "yes" or "yippie."

It doesn't seem funny or revolutionary 30 years later because he basically codified a style of observational comedy that's been endlessly copied and riffed on since; Woody Allen, Carlin, Pryor and (to a certain extant) CK had similar effects on popular stand up

>waaats the deaaalllll with fat teen titties

Joe Rogan is the best standup

jerry is funnier.
larry is a fucking weirdo, which is also funny.
they bring out the best in each other and erase the bad.
Seinfeld got really goofy [not complaining] in the last two seasons without LD
When larry had all his way,it was just more weird than funny [the penis and brain chess scene]
this last season of curb makes me think Larry just wants to be woody allen.

what were they talking about?

what were they talking about?

teenage khazar milkers

He did look like an asshole. Larry is very self aware.

It's why George is such a great and honest character (to Jerry and the audience).

Jerry Seinfeld is so annoying

>larry and jerry consumed by angst for the golem the created
>mfw I’m still Jason fucking Alexander

based Larry

>Larry David looked like that in his 30's

Did he make a deal with Satan to make Seinfeld happen?

Look I'm not going to lament the birth of the internet and the rise of Indie everything, we're better off allowing content creators to have little mass following. My favorite radio show now is a little podcast that only a few thousand people listen to now.

But there was something cool about a TV Show that was so popular a whole nation would stop to watch it. I mean we still have sports but it's not the same.

Jason Alexander is the most consumed by angst due to being typecast

100% yes it's fucking incredible

>Larry David will never be your father-in-law

They were only good as a team. Curb is garbage.

He's literally the Steve Howe of comedy

>he's even funnier than all of them in print

wtf I like former chads now

I want this Jewess

I wish you the best on getting her

He lived the dream.

Why would you say he hated Kramer I never really got that vibe from the show

I agree

Larry for sure. Jerry is an asshole.

...

It depends. How many did Larry diddle? Who did Jerry harass on set?

I could lie and say I read it somewhere but really it's the general impression I got.

too bad some manlet from snl got her

Somehow I find this worse than watching it in a bar like some people I know of...

Yeah I can see that in the beginning Jerry and espically George almost hate Kramer and then he sort takes on the clownish cartoonish role Kramer is pretty fucking hilarious in a lot of episodes tho

Garry Shandling is the thinking man's Jerry Seinfeld.

I think filming yourself in a bar watching it is worse though.

It's entirely different. One was a legitimate cultural event, the other is filming fake over the top reactions to get viewers on youtube.

Funny you mention the bar though. I've been going through a lot of my old VHS tapes lately and recently watched the one that had the Seinfeld finale. The local channel that was airing it was at a bar interviewing people who were there to watch the finale. he was asking people trivia questions and they didn't know shit. one guy he interviewed was angry because he goes to the bar every thursday to watch wrestling, but they were showing seinfeld instead.

>WATCH ME WATCH MYSELF WATCHING MYSELF WATCH A TV SHOW LOL

jews bald once they hit their 30s.

all jews want to be woody allen

I mean, we still have that. its just less often. I know everyone watched Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead for awhile.
