Every American adaptation of British shows, except the office, has been utter unwatchable garbage. The worst offender has to be: youtu.be
What makes British TV shows so much better than American ones
Other urls found in this thread:
1. Each season consists of 12 episodes
2. They're not restricted to standards and practices bullshit like the US.
3. Less emphasis on appeasing advertisers.
American sitcoms are generally rom-coms where everybody are friends, it's cozy, and the situations aren't meant to be relatable to fuck-ups. Rarely are they actually mean spirited. All in all they're for spineless turbo-normies to bask in pointless, inoffensive, surrogates for friendship
There's a few good American sitcoms, and plenty of shit British ones so this isn't true across the board

COMEDY GOLD
American "comedies" try to show how great it is to be successful in the end, how great everything is and how in the end everything will turn out alright
Good comedy makes you feel better for not being either as shitty as the characters or in as shitty a situation
>american comedy
>fat man fall down
>pop culture reference
>fuck doland drump XDD
COMEDY GOLD
Curb Your Enthusiasm, Frasier, Seinfeld

Americans bitch about us exporting Jon Oliver to the states but fail to realise that he's only famous in the US because nobody liked his shit humour here.
>Americans for years: lol British people teeth six bong lol Italians bappidy boopy lol rice nibbling Nips lol dog eating Gooks lololol
Amazing how you people can dish it out all day but cry for uncle Jannie to save you the moment someone makes fun of you.
it's a well known trope because we in the US only see the best British sitcoms, and the Brits only see the most popular US sitcoms like Friends, etc.

he's a scot ya daft coont
I don't know genuinely diluted you have to be to think that's how it happened. Americans have ALWAYS been the primary target of jokes here, except for joke of the week shit like Poo In The Loo or Uma DelĂcia.
You have to be 0% diluted, as opposed to being 38% diluted.
