The suffering will ultimately be good for her, so long as she can get her revenge out of the way promptly and doesn't stay full angst mode for too long. Her search for her family is what made her a bit more compelling than the others in Season 1, and once that's gone she's back to the generic "people to protect" motivation. That's fine for Hunk, but I want more for Pidge.

And it's not just Pidge. Having someone so close to one of the Paladins die in such a way puts things into perspective for everyone. We could use a moment like that after the huge victory over Zarkon.

The only problem is how to get him Robeasted without Lotor or Haggar being directly responsible. We need an easier fall guy so the revenge kick won't last too long.

I fucking love this show and every character in it.

I hope we get a time skip at the very end of the show. The paladins have been back on earth for a few years. Everyone's happy. Keith has been eating a lot of Texas barbecue and has gotten a little bit softer around the hips and ass.

That would be a cool epilogue. I kind of dread there being a time skip before then, though. I like the current designs of the characters, and there's a high chance that I'll like updated time skip designs a lot less. One Piece for example.

The death of pure Shiro is my favorite thing about recent Voltron threads.
