Just marathoned these movies. What did I think of it?

You're now into child porn. Sorry.

...

Been meaning to actually own all of these movies. I'm mad I'm the only one out of my friends whose seen these and I wanna expose more peeps to this.

What's your best fight OP?

Why would you watch child pornography?

So no one else is interested in this?

I enjoyed them being a huge fan of the manga and anime, despite the current news surrounding the creator, it doesn’t take away how great this series is. My favorite part of any fight in it is when Saito comes through the wall to attack Shishio in the final battle. He gets stomped shortly there after but whatever

Wait, is that why dudes are tossing the child pornography lines? Did he get caught with lolicon shit in his computer or something? Holy shit.

Yeah like hundreds of videos not just on a hdd he was burnin them to disc. He admitted to it all saying he is just attracted to girls from elementary age to junior high.

Not OP, but the first Kenshin vs Soujiro fight was great. Kenshin vs Jinne also had some sikk moves.

I also liked most fights where Kenshin beat group of people. Even among movies with competent one-on-one fight choreography very few do one-vs-many fights right, but they looked alright here.

I love the way they do that run Kenshin does being so low to the ground. I was disappointed that they didn’t have Hannya in the first movie because I love his gimmick with the sleeves despite it not being a long fight, it shows early on how observant a fighter Kenshin is.

Truth be told, shit like this is more special to me in live action for some reason. I felt they handled that battle better in the movies than they had in the manga, where as instead of just having literally dudes come to Shishio one-by-one they all tried to gang up on him and they made a big spectacle of it.

Sojiro's fight/style was handled really well too.

Fucking Christ. This is almost like that Ian Watkins thread from a while back.

...but did this dude ever actually go through with any molestation?

I agree with that having all of them have to come at him from the beginning just made him seem like this impossible fight for any one person, so later when Kenshin overcomes him it makes it even more.

Not sure but I believe there is no evidence of him acting on his predilections at the moment, but who knows what will come out of the investigation.

They were shit, like all jap crap, you're now a loathsome weeb and you hate yourself.

Oh good it's crossed boards. I enjoyed the adaption and I normally don't for anime adaptions. I'm a HUGE fan of the series, manga and OVA so that's saying something with my nostalgia.

Exactly. Shit was dope. Guren Kaina was handled really well too, I feel.

Mad we didn't get enough Kamatari

The fights were alright

Crossed boards? Is this movie available on netflix all of a sudden or something that's got everyone talking about it? Aside from the CP I mean

I think the fight choreography alone makes them better than most anime adaptations, but just other adaptations you kind of have to be fan to really get anything out of them. I enjoyed Blade of the Immortal but if someone didn’t know anything of the manga they would hate it most likely.

I have been rewatching the anime and it surprisingly holds up aside from the shitty autoconclusive episodes like the Sumo or Circus one. The series really gets going when they get to Kyoto. Shishio is a great villain.

>the fight choreography
I was surprised to go back to check and see that a lot of those moves that looked great were taken straight from the original. Goes to show that removing the constant pauses and exposition goes a long way to making a fight look good.

The one move I remember the most is when Jin'ei flips his sword behind his back and surprise stabs Kenshin from the other side.

>just got back into the anime
>the cp shit happens

Why the fuck

I could have swore that they were trying to put their own spin on some of the moves that were straight from the manga. I thought I recognized a few, which made it all the more special to me.
