Write a better Civil War

You have 100% creative freedom, Kill or resurrect any character you desire, rewrite origins, heck even change their sexuality for no describable reason if you wish.

Id say anyone could write a better Civil War than Civil War II

Tony Stark becomes president of the USA. Tony sets up the Thunderbolts program, Negative Zone jail and a new super soldier program.

The former villains and new super soldier spec ops teams clash with the established heroes due to their willingness to use lethal force and many refuse to follow Stark after this. Stark in turn, withdraws his financial support of the Avengers, forcing them to either join up or drain their life savings.

Stark expands the Thunderbolts because of the loss of much of the old community and overlooks the death and destruction the big name villains cause in the name of the greater good. When traditional heroes stop the Thunderbolts, several are killed on both sides.

Cap is arrested and blamed for the fiasco. He breaks out and a lot of heroes follow him. The full blown Civil War begins from there.

Y'know what, I'll take Bendis' CWII over that one since at least Bendis' CW is largely insignificant in the grand scheme of things and can thus be ignored going forward. Yours is both bad and

Make it an orgy. With all the boobies.

Giant aliens invade and All the heroes team up to fight them.

Everyone is gay for Steve Rogers and fights over who gets to ask him out on a date.

Tony and Carol fall off the wagon and start a fight.

Super Skrull brings and a bunch of displaced Skrull refugees to Earth.

The entire Earth is divided because of Secret Invasion.

Tensions rise when Alpha Flight is blown out of the sky by an unknown saboteur/suicide bomber. No one is 100% sure if the terrorist was a disguised Skrull or not.

Heroes are torn between protecting all lives, and saving Earth lives.

Now THAT I'd pay money for.

Grimdark.

Potential

You deserve to be editor in chief.

Isn't that what the first one was about?

We more watcher and I'm sold.

Decent.

I'll just make world war hulk but correctly.

Gay frogs infecting people with the gay virus. The war comes down to groups of people who want to have sex with Frogman.

Tony Stark tries to preempt mandatory superhuman registration by offering a mea culpa of sorts: the Avengers operate under SHIELD's oversight in exchange for their federal funding and status back. This rattles Cap and most of the superhero community when they catch wind of it, with Tony trying to rationalize it as trying to reunite and expand the Avengers, with the eventual goal being gaining control of SHIELD itself.

Cap sympathizes, but doesn't like the idea of being at SHIELD's beck and call, which is reinforced by Stark's appointment as director and Cap learning of the military's covert co-opting of supervillains. Things boil over when it's revealed that the Skrulls have invaded and that SHIELD has been secretly trying to discover everybody's secret identities via DNA samples for years, unbeknown to Stark. A few heroes are outed and killed before the Skrull threat is neutralized by the Thunderbolts, now led by Norman Osborn, who has his own agenda.

Cap draws the line and leads a secession of sorts, starting his own Avengers team. Osborn tries to undermine Stark's hold of SHIELD while Tony tries to secretly support Cap's team to make up for his failure.

Tony Stark tries to blowjob Luke Cage, but Cage doesn't swing that way. Tony quips, "You just started a war!" and then Thanos comes out of nowhere for the deus ex machina

Are you Alex Jones?

Marvel made lots of events like that, Monsters Unleashed being the most recent example. Of course, since Sup Forums couldn't insult the story they mocked it's sales. If Civil War II sold three times the monsters story it's a miracle Marvel is not doing wars every week (and no, they aren't doing that).

This is like a weird combination of stuff we got and stuff we didn't. I'm cautiously interested.

Sup Forums is so bad at both being creative and funny.

Step 1: Don't.

Chemicals in the Water turn the frogs gay, leading to an epidemic of raping frogs spreading the gay chemicals, lead by Frog-Man. Captain Marvel is convinced that only by her raping the frogman can this tragedy be avoided, but she's not the only one with her eyes on the prize -- Iron Man hopes to rape Frog-Man to death, in honor of She Hulk, who tragically died offscreen to unseen forces.

Where will this go next? And how will the new future-seeing gay half-frog white boi Homer fit in to these plans?

Only Sup Forums can decide that question, just as soon as someone else gets another one of these "Sup Forums writes" threads going.

...

Yo what happened to that "Civil War 2 Abridged" thing we we're doing?

Illuminating is doing it better anyway.

The only correct answer.

>Change Ulysses's power a bit, make the visions unclear. Also make it that only he can see them, so he can withhold the information if he wishes
>Don't waste time trying to make each side reasonable. Have Rhodey's death severely affect Carol and thus compel her to go full police state.
>Have Tony and the big name heroes lose and be arrested by Carol in issue 4. Issue 5 picks up four months later - with all the tie-ins detailing what happens in those four months
>The last four issues are the younger heroes as well as the street level heroes fighting a last desperate battle against Carol, led by Kamala.
>Ulysses commits suicide at the end, and Carol surrenders. With her disgrace and the aftermath of the Hulk's death, etc. the superhero community is deeply divided, and many of the big teams break down, with only the core teams remaining and keeping a small, tight membership. Public opinion of superheroes also nosedives given that the public's endured another destructive Civil War and four months of Minority Report.
>Kamala gets the classic Captain Marvel colours and must deal with being thrust into the spotlight as well as dealing with her massively challenged view of superheroics.
I may like Kamala a bit.
