ITT: We pitch ideas for episodes for a Gorillaz cartoon.
>Russ introduces 2D to an underground hip-hop ring, where he gets too good at battle-rap for his own good >Murdoc and noodle fight music store employees >Cyber noodle makes a return, challenges noodle for her place in the band >Russ and Del have dream adventures a la Inception >2D buys an annoying instrument, Murdoc protests
Christian Barnes
Noodle keeps trying to practice guitar but hilarity ensues when Murdoc basically becomes her music pimp charging people for street performances.
2D and Russel find a magic talisman that causes them to rhyme nonstop, at the end it's stolen by Snoop.
Julian Carter
>Noodle has been given one last assassin job >can't refuse for reasons >sneaks off every night to work on it >the guys believe she has a secret boyfriend >start doing some poor detective work >entire episode is Noodle fights and the rest of the band accosting blokes they think are her mystery guy
Angel Butler
Got one for a Halloween episode: >Noodle has to spend the night fighting off zombies that are invading Kong >The rest of the ghosts of Ruseel's friends that were gunned down along with Del come back to haunt him, giving him one last chance to say goodbye and come to terms with what happened to them and himself >Murdoc dresses up in a shoddy whale costume trying to scare the shit out of 2D
Lucas Edwards
Sounds better than
>Noodle goes on a real date >The guys keep snooping on her
Also, HHNNNGGG my heart
Samuel Flores
>2D's kids with groupies before Phase 1 catch up with him
This might be the same picture redrawn, or it might be part of the same picture and the other Noodle is the cyborg.
Brody Lewis
>Murdoc and 2D in the studio >2D can't get this one take of a chorus right >Murdoc concocts painful/strange ways to alter 2D's voice >Russ and Noodle are involved with their "specialized methods" >Russ has Del mindfuck him >Noodle bashes a guitar over his head
Shit, I'd watch it.
Parker Smith
Would the show take place in Kong Studios or Plastic Beach? I'm not convinced one would be better than the other, barring that PB is literally in the middle of the ocean
Jayden Gray
>its a cook off episode featuring special guest mfdoom, each member of the band has to prove they are the superior chef by cooking a dish selected by judge doom.
Aaron Wood
Also for posterity
Michael Davis
I feel that the show would progress alongside the albums, starting in Kong and ending up with them at PB.
Jaxon Morales
And right now they're apparently at some apartment in London.
Logan Ramirez
The episode where they'd show 2D and Murdoc meeting would be gold.
>2d has eyes >Literally 2 hours into his new job at a music store >Murdoc crashes his car through the storefront and into 2D's face, >Pan up to 2D with one eye, nearly collapsing
Can this be a thing? Murdoc's character already has a fucking amazing voice actor.
Juan Martinez
More of a general concept but in order to fund the new album, and Murdoc's lingering legal dalliances, he begins to sign the Gorillaz up for increasingly annoying things.
In one episode they appear on a reality show called "Flat Bloke" where they must live in and renovate a duplex before a couple (with no knowledge of the concept,) decide if they want to make it their home. If so, they win 100,000 pounds, but if not, they win nothing and get evicted.
In another, he agrees to test Virgin's first self-driving caravan across the country and 2D falls in love with a vacationing slag across the way.
Dylan Gray
>Snoop is a recurring character who lives next door to the Gorrillaz >He's not in every episode, but every Snoop episode is a great episode >He's almost always doing something weird because he feels like it or involved in a complex and completely incomprehensible scheme >He wears a different costume every episode >That episode where Snoop takes 2D and Murdoc on a fishing trip that turns into an acid trip
Carter Campbell
It'd randomly mix between them. One episode Demon Dayz, another Plastic beach. Surprisingly deepest lore in the episodes hidden away
James Foster
>Run the Jewels,Grimes and Daft punk are major characters.
Brandon Jones
The gang tries to get Noodle to go to school
It goes about as well as expected
Ethan Garcia
Murdoc has a Mexican son and he has down syndrome.
Jaxson Roberts
Damon and Jamie need to be the neighbors who although you never see physically are always having a domestic and throwing furniture out of windows whenever the main cast walks by
preferably hitting 2D
Luis Mitchell
I like this thread. 2D gets a glimpse of inside Murdoc's winnebago and spends the rest of the episode trying to find out what's inside. When he finally finds out it's the most terrible thing he's even seen and goes crazy and blacks out. Noodle shows Russel anime and turns him into a weeaboo, but stops when he re-enacts his friends' death in a samurai style.
Mason Morris
It's been implied through "interviews" that 2D basically doesn't know what sex is. That, or he's just really pure. Dedicate an episode to that. Murdoc uses bad metaphors, Russ does the Marvin Gaye thing, and Noodle... does something.
Christopher Edwards
>Season 1 is more light hearted and goofy, just wacky antics like Murdoc's schemes, Noodle's adjustment to foreign culture etc
>Season 2 is where it gets a bit darker, ultimately culminates in Noodles flying island being destroyed, Kong being overrun. 2D getting some of his organs replaced by Murdoc, everyone disappears at the series finale.
And then it gets cancelled.
James Reyes
But 2D has kiss though, right? Has he been molested?
Yes there should be an episode about the band trying to teach 2D about sex. Murdoc being explicit and 2D not getting it. Russell being more textbook about it and 2D not getting it. Noodle giving the most sensible explanation and 2D not getting it. Then, as he is about to have sex again, he remembers everything his bandmates taught him, his bastard kids, puts 2 and 2 together and freaks out. The last shot of the episode is him at the Gorillaz' flat holding a baby, which is erased from canon by the next episode.
Elijah Allen
And Hewlette kept saying Noodle wasn't supposed to be sexualized.
Nolan Cox
>IF YOU STRUM THAT HILLBILLY INSTRUMENT ONE MORE TIME
Lincoln Martin
But in the "Escape from Plastic Beach" flash game he talks about how he steals murdocs porno to pass the time
Jeremiah Wood
>Has he been molested?
I'm sure he's been used for sexual by now.
Nathan Ross
Hasn't he gotten a shitload of groupies pregnant? Think it was in Rise of the Ogre
