This movie is absolutely precious and adorable.

On par with Lynches Blue Velvet level of quality.

I haven't seen it. This, and Dune. Maybe someday.

Is it about a gay farmer pretending to be straight, but(hehe) he secretly pines for Tobias's ass?

pls download it, its worth it. What are you waiting for?

>David Lynch

I'll skip it.

...

i grew up on this comfy ass film. brings me so much nostalgia it's crazy. such a gem

great soundtrack but not edgy enough for the Sup Forums crowd

age? where u from?

Movie is sublime. People think you're crazy when you say it, but I honestly think it might be Lynch's best movie. It's just so genuine.

yeah, my dad died this summer so it makes me have feels. It is extremely genuine for sure. It's so good.

How come theres been no bluray release for this shit? I wanted to get a bluray of this for my dad at Christmas.

Stupid old man why didn't he just call a cab lmao what a dumb flick

19, TN

He's the worst.

...

ah. it only came out in 1999, why did u watch it so much?

family had it on vhs and it was just accessible. I don't know even as a little kid i loved films like this. watched Milo and Otis, Watership Down, and a bunch of obscure 70s adventure films. That stuff shaped who i am today, i resonate with it so much. very melancholy stuff.

That's awesome my friend. cheers! I am 34, I loved watching milo and otis growing up as well.

I liked it. It wasn't surreal but the Lynch quirk was there.

>that /comfy/ soundtrack

Also look up how many fucking movies Angelo Badalamenti is credited in. Guy is a hero.

>Angelo Badalamenti
cool thanks!

It's great. I'm more drawn to Lynch's darkness in Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, etc but Straight Story is underrated for sure. Very touching, humane film.

extremely underrated .

>that ending scene
infinite feels

Yes. Secretly one of Lynch's best movies.
