I like Rob’s content. I liked 2049.
I do agree with him though that the Messianic shit feels utterly inappropriate in a nihilistic world like Blade Runner though. And that Stelline makes Replicant memories with a sort of magical VR utterly goes against how fucking bleak and depressing the world of Blade Runner is portrayed for the majority of the time.
That certainly didn’t ruin the film but felt misplaced.
