Goddamn Typos

It's been in the trash for a while. You are just digging through trash and posting what you find on Sup Forums now.

>We want the remnants of Code Lyoko audience
Nope, no thanks

>I was on a Vancouver to Montreal flight and sat beside a bunch of Mainframe people. They kept coming up to each other's seats and talking about scripts, and it was all supremely inane hack shit like "and then they meet the wizard and realize the true power was in them along!" But they were all acting like it was mind-blowing, deep writing.

>Prepare for generic children's shit.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

corusent.com/news/wow-unlimited-medias-mainframe-studios-corus-entertainment-begin-next-phase-production-reboot-guardian-code/

Terrible. Why even? They're taking one of the most unique cartoons ever and completely removing everything that made it cool.

This is literally Zixx.

Jesus Christ.

>believing what someone on neofag said

This show will be shit but c'mon.

Poor Woolie.

I sure as hell believe someone on there over anyone on here. What exactly is so outlandish about that story that you can't believe?

blonde on the left is a QT3.14
where did you get this image

Woolie's losing it.

I mean yeah sure looks pretty for a static frame (and I'm sure we're getting a new waifu in blade-chick) but wow that's just dragging it into an alley and mugging it for spare change.

It's from the same company that made the last two seasons of Zixx.

What the systematic fuck am I looking at?

Zixx is bad, right? I remember it from CN's upsetting live action phase, but I literally only saw like 10 minutes. I kind of like cheesy CGI stuff...

Zixx had three seasons. One of the main character's motives was to find his kidnapped mother. Between season one and season 2, the series went through production issues and shifted to the other side of Canada. The only actors to return were the VA for the lizard dude and the black girl. No one else bothered, so almost every plot thread from the first season was abandoned.

The only half way decent live action/animated hybrid was Dark Oracle.

>Code LYOKO ended 10 years ago

...

youtube.com/watch?v=isJYHpJKqKs

Noooo thank you

Say what you will about Zixx but damn did that show at least look accurate to its time.

It looks like a video game from that era. When I see that picture all I see is Halo Combat Evolved.

I mean... it doesn't look bad for a live action 3d hybrid show.

I'm guessing this is a "either this or nothing" situation but at least the original studio is behind it.

That's because the first season was animated in a video game engine.

>When I see that picture all I see is Halo Combat Evolved
Same here, in lowest settings

I can't tell if he's happy or not on his Twitter.

>Re-Boot is getting a reboot
How Carlos can you get with this shit?

That loli fucking delicious.

go away Sup Forums

Into the trash, burn the trash, throw the can in the river, bomb the river.

You just made me realize that we live in a time where we could feasibly have an animated television show made using Source Filmmaker.

time to declare war on Canada.

I mean, look at the higher quality SFM.

If they put that work into story boarding and dialogue, why not make a whole movie in source filmmaker?

you should see what the original looked like!

They've had it too good for too long.

what difference would it make, then?

Exactly.
But the only downside would be creating models and environments in Source/Hammer or whatever it is you're supposed to use, and animators nowadays aren't versed in that.

So I guess it's just to the porn animators to create the first feature-length SFM movie.

What in the wrong-hole fuck is this assrapery?

If you listen closely to the wind you can almost make out Woolie's cries of anguish in the distance.

>at least the original studio is behind it.

Today's Mainframe is the same Mainframe in the same way that today's Atari is the company behind the 2600. None of the people who founded the company still work there. Same goes for the major creatives behind ReBoot.

But why?

>What exactly is so outlandish about that story that you can't believe?
For starters people don't discuss scripts on fucking planes. This is the equivalent of my dad woks at nintendo you should know better.

That just isn't Reboot at all.

Punishment for the evil that men do.

>mfw we'll never see a continuation of reboot to fix it's shit after the two movies
>mfw we'll be getting this generic Live Action heap
>mfw all the hype around it before they stated it would be live action
>mfw the cgi is lackluster

I DIDN'T FUCKING WORK MY WHOLE LIFE TO SEE THIS SHIT. THIRD BLUNDER OF 2017. FUCK.

I think you are severely overestimating how bright the current people at Mainframe are.

I hope that guy in charge of "reboot revival" kills himself over this. Im so done with his bullshit

They always said The Guardian Code would be this monstrosity. It was the canceled movie trilogy that was supposed to be fully animated.

Well fair point, speaking has a cgi animator that whole scene has way too much flare and the contrasting colors don't bode well with the composition of the shot. i love my white and blue but the flare just makes it worst.

also the animation works i guess.

Seriously though, couldn't they just make a final season and put it on [as] like Samurai Jack? Is that too much to ask. What in the floppity flying fish finger fuck is this live action bullshit?

The biggest problem i think is that most of the creative team behind the original reboot are gone.

also since reboot had it's last movie, CGI has progressed so much that the original assets will look completely jumbo to work with, they may have the concept arts and assets, but completely remaking them 1 to 1 is going to be hard and a lot of the fanatics will either complain or scruff it off i feel.

they said no one wanted to invest money in the ideas, live action was the only thing that got the interest of the greedy executives.

>Dark Oracle.
Shit, I need to look that up again. I remember thinking it was cool and the heroine was cute

Adults aren't going to support shitty mass market toylines and watch a low budget revival for five years.

I love Dark Oracle but it had a shitty conclusion.

That CGI looks fucking worse than Season 3
Art direction is absolutely putrid

Chuck it down the bin and get me a knitting needle.

Is 2017 just going to be chock full of adaptions, reboots and remakes that intentionally miss the point of the original?

I've never been a fan of Re-Boot but fuck this looks like an abomination. Re-Bootfags, you have my sympathy.

oh shit there was another thread

time to post this again

Fuck him he deserves it

RRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEboot

Oh god, it's actually happening.

The occasional thread about this would show up and we could all laugh it off because nothing ever updated and it seemed like it would never get made... but they're actually trying to make this horseshit.

I'm not angry or sad, I'm just shocked that such a horrible idea is making it to see the light of day after all this time.

It's kind of crazy when you think about it. The third TV movie wasn't greenlit. The spinoff for toddlers wasn't given the go ahead. The movie trilogy couldn't secure funding. But this, this is the ReBoot project that goes through.

r34 when?

Also, the brunette is best girl!!!!

From the thumbnail I thought that said XXX, like there was a Code Lyoko porn parody.

Who the fuck is Woolie?

I choose to believe that the finale of Code Lyoko was when Franz Hopper fueled the XANA Deletion Program and Jeremie shut down the supercomputer for good. Everything is resolved and everyone can move on with their lives.

Go ahead and try it, hosers. We'll beat you with hockey sticks until it's time for the next Tim's run (so, for about 5 minutes at any given time).

You want a Boston Cream while we're there?

Iron Fist is good. Fuck you.

>Zixx had 3 seasons

Really? I remember the show getting maybe half a dozen episodes out before it was canned.

This is the thing that passes through because it hits all the right points for executives.

This is the world we live in.

You know, seeing this makes me appreciate [as] letting Samurai Jack end even more. Even if it ends bland, they still allowed the original creator to finish his show in the styles of the show and actually continue from the show despite so many years.

Where has any other show simply continued from where it left off without being rebooted or cancelled?

>When Austin, Parker, Grey, and Tamra are not trying to stop viruses ... our heroes are being typical teens: arguing with their parents over curfews; dealing with crushes; or trying to avoid getting suspended for skipping class when they're really on a cyber mission to save the world!

This blurb only serves to remind that Reboot wasn't funny to begin with, was it. Just a bunch of LOL COMPUTERS jokes only some computer programmer would understand.

You're judging really hard over a blurb for a spinoff that was never actually produced.

>Haha nice shit post fag like i'm gon-
>It's fucking real

the blue guy on the far left reminds me of that creepy beluga whale pic that's in a lot of "depths of internet/levels of nerdiness" images

>Reboot wasn't funny to begin with, was it.
Nah it was pretty funny
>Just a bunch of LOL COMPUTERS jokes only some computer programmer would understand.
There were spoofs of popular video game genres, pop culture parodies and yeah some of tech jokes sneaked in. It was pretty accessible.
And after a while it got a really really good story arc that unfortunately concluded on a cliffhanger.
It was a series with multiple audience appeal because it was quality work made by people who loved what they do.
Remember when that used to happen?

>Remember when that used to happen?
it still happens

youtube.com/watch?v=vw5vcUPyL90

Well, at least it's not connected to the original series in any way save for the name.

Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? wasn't too bad, either. Granted, the live action segments with the kid were pretty sparse and not all that intrusive.
