There is this show that I can't quite remember, british kids methodically vandalizing a home to the point that they completely and utterly destroy it.
I remember watching it in the mid 80's or thereabouts, it's not very obscure, it was originally from BBC and was on quite often on PBS out of Spokane I believe (lived in Alberta at the time and I am positive our PBS was broadcast from Spokane).
What kind of show? Game show? Was it Finders Keepers?
Dominic Walker
It wasn't a gameshow, I guess it was a drama/comedy.
Aiden Kelly
you sure they were British? It wasnt 'Kids' was it? and yes, alberta pbs is from spokane. mind if I ask where in alberta u lived at the time?
Thomas Flores
Calgary, I don't think it was 'kids', it was purely about one or two kids trashing a large brick home, culminating in the removal of a wall by chaining it to a truck
Lucas Thompson
nvm, kids was 90s. what you described does sound familiar though, I also grew up in alberta in the 80s.
Carson Walker
I just looked up 'kids' and no, this was like 10+ years before that came out.
Caleb Gomez
You've probably seen it then, it was on a bunch of times.
And it's not like we had a lot of channels.
Ryder Phillips
I think you mean the young ones
Brody Gutierrez
>the young ones
I am talking about a show that's an hour long or so, with only the one episode and the only characters I remember from it was a young boy, and the owner of the house.
It was only about the house being trashed, from what I can remember. No laugh track or gags or anything like that, barely any dialogue at all from what I remember.
Wyatt Ross
Okay, so it's not a comedy, that helps. Can you describe more? Any chance it was a game show?
Julian Hughes
It wasn't a gameshow , it was a drama, I think it was just about one kid, maybe he had a buddy, but what happened was the methodical vandalism of a house while the owner was away.
The house was basically systematically destroyed, and this culminated in the owner coming home, and opening the door, and the entire building collapsed.
Isaiah Flores
Just gonna throw these out there:
fawlty towers bottom bless this house
Gavin Bailey
Oh Jesus Christ, it's not an old episode of Coronation Street is it?
Jayden Allen
Who /Edmonton/ here?
Aiden Barnes
nope
Parker Johnson
I've lived in Edmonton, right behind Blues on Whyte, where I spent most of my waking moments in the mid 90's.
