wtf why are we not outraged by thios
DISNEY WILL OWN ALL OF THESE SOON
Because all of those series suck.
>samsons
>gabekeno
>aylmao
Formerly Independant
American Dad hasn't been owned by FOX for over half a decade.
I think Fox only distributed Avatar.
>company I have nothing to do with buys stuff I have nothing to do with
Why would I be outraged?
Don't forget they pretty much got Don Bluth back
Disney Simpsons will probably be even worse than current Simpsons, it will just be a bunch of bad crossovers and parodies with other Disney IPs.
ABATAP might be cool though.
Fox don't actually own Fantastic Four
But they do own, Predator, X-Files, Die Hard, Independence Day, Archer, Bobs Burgers, Planet of the Apes, Ice Age & so on
>Fox don't actually own Fantastic Four
The point is the movie rights will go back to Marvel Studios/Disney
>Don bluth
Looks like animated fap kinos back on the menu boys
Jack Bauer vs James Bond
Avengers vs X-Men
Files of X vs Aliens of Avatar
Just Anastasia & Titan AE
But im positive Disney will repackage Anastasia as a Disney princess for all that lovely jew gold
That's true
the quicker one company owns everything the quicker we can have a glorious socialist utopia.
>Disney's taking back the Fantastic Four and X-Men
Thank fucking god, maybe they'll actually put the X-Men characters back into Marvel vs Capcom
Disney can't really do anything to fuck those franchises any worse than what Fox has already managed to do. So that in mind, why outrage?
>American Dad
Fox sold that show to TBS years ago. It's why AD is the only McFarlane animated show that's actually any good.
>Disney buys Fantastic 4 and X-Men licences
>Marvel Studios greenlights Secret Wars movie
>mfw
50 more years of blockbuster capeshit!
You Left one out
They would revert back anyways. It's a non transferable license.
The only way fox can keep them is if it keeps pumping out shitty movies to squat the rights. They aren't able to sell those rights, and if fox is sold to another company they would revert to Marvel Disney anyways.
only the distribution rights
>The Simpsons
At this point, I legit think Disney could actually turn this around. Considering how low it's fallen, there would be nothing to lose, any change would be welcome if death isn't an option.
Fox does produce the show and owns it
You know what Constantin did in the erly 90s to retain the rights?youtube.com
disney is cyberpunk af
I hope they do that again just to piss off Disney
I think it's hilarious how Disney now owns Family Guy and Deadpool.
PG-13 Deadpool here we come
& Family guy will be canned
That film has more heart and soul than any Disney/Marvel capeshit!
Literally all of them will be in better hands
how is disney so rich?
The only reason Family Guy is still on is because of syndication royalties.
>Disney owns Netflix
>Netflix quite literally got rid of Family Guy and American Dad
>lol let's buy them anyways
Hulu has American Dad rights for the next 5-10 years, so yeah... that sounds stupid that Disney would buy something that would purposely push against their own product.
>all those dead franchises
only thing that will bother me is the imminent revival marketing campaign
>Dr Doom could be in the MCU
Villainkino back on the menu boys
Feed & Seed franchise.
FUARK YAAAAS!! Doom is CUHRAYZEE yo! Get comfay, boys!
Which Secret Wars? There was two.
The most overrated villain in marvel. The fantastic four and x-men do tie up a lot of villains I'd like to see though
There's a reason why Jews stop to pick up every shiny penny they see. Every coin adds to the final tally.
All that shit is already dead to me, they could make it into gay porn for all I care.
Doom is based but I'm sure Marvel would find a way to either fuck him up or waste him completely.
Because nobody cares. All television shows and all movies these days are pure unfettered garbage.
The only reason to come here is to shitpost and to shit all over the shills as they market their star wars/capeshitery.
Don't the US have laws against monopolies?
Monopoly over what? Capeshit?
I'm sure they were conveniently disbanded under the patriot, ndaa, prism, all the other unconstitutional evil bug people who have been running our govt for 20 or so years has been plotting.
I really have a hard time imagining a future in which an Alien or a Predator movie is produced by Disney.
>tfw Anastasia and FernGully are now officially Disney
I know Bluth has nothing to do with FernGully
Those are still 2 really good animated flicks.
Titan AE doesn't get the recognition that it deserves. Ahead of its time.
Oh no, Disney is about to own a bunch of garbage. How awful.
>Fantastic Four
OH NONONONONO HAHAHAHA
that Phineas&Ferb X Simpsons crossover is gonna be lit af!!
Dr Doofenshmirtz X Mr Burns OTP
Yeah, this is horseshit. Sort your fucking antitrust laws out, America.
This
OK, for real - how do we stop the eternal rodent?
There's plenty of competition out there such as MGM, Sony, DreamWorks, and Warner Bros.
Disney probably won't buy anyone out for a very long time if they buy 20th Century, because I do agree that they are getting very close to violating anti-trust, but too much competition it still out there for them to be in violation.
what's the options field for
disney doesn't have bond...yet
Aren't most of those owned by other, larger companies as well, though? This shit is ridiculous. In the space of about 20 years Americans have gone from roughly 80 companies in competition to provide media, news and entertainment - to 6. I wouldn't consider that anywhere near functional enough for a stable capitalist system, personally. It's one step away from a vertically-integrated oligarchical monopoly.
>91141819
SAY IT WITH ME, BLACK BEYONDER
>Disney films
>Pixar films
>Marvel films
>Star Wars films
>all the merchandise
Disney is insanely lucrative as a company. And now they have The Simpsons. I'm pretty sure that The Simpsons secured some kind of special non-interference deal with Fox when it was created, I wonder if that will still apply to Disney. I honestly hope not. Even Disneyfied Simpsons would be better than Zombie Simpsons.
kike$
that's how the world is
>Which Secret Wars? There was two.
Both of them boiled down to "everyone is on some patchwork planet in an empty void and Doctor Doom steals the Beyonder's power".
>one step
We're already there user. And they're slowly encroaching on the internet as well.
The first 9 or so seasons of The Simpsons still haven't been matched.
W-what if Disney saves The Simpsons?
Doesn't matter, I mean Microsoft got away with it so yeah. As long as Amiga, Linux and Apple existed, Microsoft wasn't violating anti-trust
He always had black hair anyways
The first nine or so seasons of the simpsons were rendered irrelevant by south park.
THE BEYONDER PLAYED BY #LITTY ROCK JOHNSON
Lol
Protip. Fox don't own the fantastic 4 film rights constantin do.
>caring about anything coming from US after 2012
why tho
>The Simpsons will now be a Disney property
>mcu already wasted hasselhoff in gotg 2
monopolies are actually good dude pick up a economics textbook lmao
>yfw Disney will own Sneedposing
>Disney will repackage Anastasia as a Disney princess
fuck this gay earth
I'm ready for hollywood to burn to the ground. all of it
Because you should have stopped caring about the simpsons 15 years ago.
>Crysta and Tinker Bell crossover will finally happen
o shiet
>be universal studios
>have themed lands based on Marvel Comics and the Simpsons
>both properties are now controlled by your primary rival
don't give a shit except for Aliens...how do you disneyfy a horror movie?
kids
honestly that seems worse for Disney. their properties are bringing people to their rival's theme partk!
unless Disney can just revoke rights and get the lands shut down, of course.
I'm legitimately pissed at the idea of Disney getting X-Men back. They can have fantastic four if they want to but the X-Men movies are my favorite in capeshit and Disney is gonna turn them into the same old shit they do 3 times a year now.
Say what you will about the X-Men movies but at least they do different stuff. It's not your usual Marvel kiddie shit but it's not DC's edgy flat attempt at being mature and cool. They're somewhat in the sweet spot in the middle. What I enjoy so much about them is that every movie they release is a bargain. It might be one of the worst shit capeshit has to offer (The Last Stand, Origins Wolverine) or it might be up there as some of the best things in the genre (First Class, Days of Future Past, Logan). I'd rather go to the theater and see which one will it be than know for a fact it's gonna be "by the numbers, run of the mill capeshit movie #17" like pretty much all of the MCU movies are.
Disney is surprisingly good at horror when they put their minds to it.
>Oh hey i'm literally god in the mcu
>some random no one steal your powers
How the fuck people read this kind of garbage
EVEN FUCKING MANGA, WRITTEN BY FUCKING ASIANS, don't manage to be as bad
Well, at least 5% manga is not completely trash
And nothing of value was lost
the movies aren't going anywhere you retard, you can watch X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, Deadpool, Logan, and Deadpool 2 whenever you want, user.
He was also beaten by Phoneix, but thats another story.
Feige was affiliated with the early X-Men films long before Marvel Studios existed. I'm sure that he won't change the nature of X-Men movies too much.
Anyway, the only real danger is Disney stopping making R-rated X-Men films like Deadpool and Logan, and those are both a recent development.
Another reason why I avoid reading comics is because more than one author can use your characters
Fuck that
They are though. Yes, those ones will still exist but we will never get new ones in the same vein as those. We will have Cyclops quipping about Wolverine being a manlet, Magneto as a forgettable one-off villain and Tony Stark dropping by unannounced for no reason other than to best you over the head with the fact that there's a crossover sequel coming out next and you should be looking forward to that instead of whatever it is you are watching right now.
insideuniversal.net
The contract they drew up is fucking nuts.
Disney cant build a marvel attraction within a certain amount of miles around universal studios, nor can they build one at all east of the mississippi.
That's why Disneyland got the Guardians of the Galaxy ride and Disney World didnt.
the worst part is that disney got way too many legs to stand on.
Even if star wars and marvel would finally die, Disney would be fine.
It's amazing to me how they can have more money than most countries yet their rides still smell like mexicans.
