What was Ridley thinking?
What was Ridley thinking?
He was thinking about the bonus situation
Oh, it has the skull inside like Big Chap. I didn't notice that before.
LOOK AT THE TOP OF ITS HEAD
Ridley is still the only director so far who has been capable of bringing the xenomorph to life in a way that makes it seem more threatening than a random predatory animal of the same size. He then has them do nothing particularly threatening, which is frustrating.
I don't care. It's an Alien movie. I spent $20 buying it as soon as it hit digital release. First time in like 10 years I've purchased a movie.

To trick fox into thinking aliens are dead and don't need to be in Alien Awakenings
>Xenomorph
>Out in the open in broad daylight.
I mean it's still the same alien but you really can't make them that scary unless it's somewhere dark and confined.
He listened to all those fags complaining about not enough xenos in prometheus
It's not the same alien, this lacks everything else interesting about the design other than the human skull.
FUCK OFF
STOP MAKING FUN OF DAISY RIDLEY
what was wrong with it?
Giv xenomorph gf
thinking an origin story was needed on aliens rather than n the Elephant man.
literally the aliens mysteriousness was what made them scary and ibnterestinf. Now they're like frankensteins monster or the movie splice where you almost can't fuck the experiment.
the engineers were way more interesting angel except they decide to double the Fassbender and holocaust the engineers.
>What was Ridley thinking
>thinking
He wasn't. His mind his gone. Just listen to any of his recent interviews.
>how can i make an expanded universe
yeah he's literally a senile drunk bastard I'm glad he didn't have any creative freedom over 2049.
I disagree. It can be plenty scary in broad daylight if done correctly. Just have it move insanely fast and be relentlessly aggressive, it's unnatural speed and unthinking hostility serving to drive home to the viewer its origins as the product of hyper-advanced weapon tech from a dead race of gods. What makes it unscary is that it isn't allowed by the story to harm the main character, so it impotently farts around until she kills it.
>that pic
Both that scene and the rape scene towards the end gave me some p. confused boners.
I think its actually fitting how David had a creation complex seeing how the engineers created us before we created androids. It comes full circle when it turns out that the creation created the "alien." DAAAMMMNNNNNN
Those aliens droll so much they would die of dehydration in several hours.
