One of the reasons Rick and Morty is so subversively popular is because it uses comedy to mock leftist values and practices, as well as somewhat secretly promoting the values of men’s rights activists (MRA) and men going their own way (MGTOW).
The show was originally created by Justin Roiland as a filthy incest-based tiny flash cartoon parodying Back to the Future, with it’s relationship between Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

As you can see in the original video, it’s intentionally retarded and is pretty much primarily about Marty licking Doc’s balls in order to make time travel happen or make people disappear from existence. One caveat about the show’s secret intent is that Dan Harmon is confirmed as a lefty sissy bitch, in the usual stereotypical ways, such as melting down over Trump’s inevitable and deserved election, white knighting, virtue signalling, all the typical fraudulent behaviors the left is guilty of.
Justin Roiland, however, while not actively opposing leftism in his life or cartoon work, clearly does not support it, as can be shown through several examples. There is also a wealth of proof that Roiland opposes the social justice ideology specifically, at least in a quiet way.
Morty’s dad, Jerry: Jerry is the literal and figurative definition of what the kids these days call a “cuck.” In the the episode “Total Rickall,” where memory parasites infect the family and create fake memories of fake people, Jerry’s best friend is Sleepy Gary, a masculine confident man who has sex with Jerry’s wife, literally cuckolding him, as well as the two of them being total fags.
This is a reversal of the usual sitcom/cartoon trope of the dad being a masculine idiot. In Rick and Morty, the dad is an emasculated cuckold in the sense of wanting another man to fuck his wife, and in the more metaphorical sense of being a doormat, letting others walk over him, having no say in his family, as the modern and societal/cultural cuckold (primarily a liberal, though there are many conservatives who fit this description) who lets theocratic fascists flood into his country and rape the native women ala Sweden and Germany and such, or alternatively someone who allows the government to give legal preferential treatment to women at the abusive detriment of his entire gender (this is an example of a “cuckservative”). The liberal cuck is much closer to the modern trend of fatherhood and maleness, where the legal system has stripped men of legal rights and gives overbearing preferential treatment (aka “privilege”) to mothers and women in general. Essentially, if a MGTOW guy wanted to make a satire of a modern father, they would be more likely to make Jerry than Homer Simpson.

Morty’s mom, Beth: Essentially the breadwinner of the family, a horse surgeon, who has little respect for her husband, and perhaps rightfully so as the husband seems to accept being emasculated. He tries to fight against it and keep her affections, which barely works. She’s constantly surrounded by the temptation of masculine men (every feminist deep down inside wants a daddy to choke them after all, as well as the presence of a literal dad usually deprived of them by their single mothers–and that’s no mere MRA/MGTOW observation, but is a hatefact that is freely evident to anyone with more than two wits to rub together and unblinded by ideology, or as you might say, someone who has swallowed the red sunglasses from They Live).
It’s also observed that Beth has a hidden drinking problem, as it’s also been documented (and it seems only MGTOW will admit) that nearly 1 out of every 4 women in America self-medicate with alcohol, narcotics, or prescription pills (which means the other 75% of women are going around untreated). Wine seems to be the medication of choice for Beth. At the end of this episode, when she shoots a real person (WELL SORT OF) that she mistakes as a memory parasite, she runs off to the kitchen to pour herself wine while shaking, classic addiction behavior, trying to numb the pain immediately.

Summer: A pretty typical teenage girl. Most modern cartoons would rather steer off a cliff than risk mocking women at all, let alone the “innocent” “cute” teenage girl. Summer is typical, which leads to a good deal of mockery at her expense. Like most of the family, she’s not despicable or overtly hateable, simply flawed for comic effects. It’s harder to find good examples that stand out of what she does wrong, but in general she’s shallow and pretty much owned by consumer and pop culture, and as enslaved to her hypergamy instinct as much as all other females of all species (hypergamy has been scientifically observed in every single animal species in existence with the exception of some spiders).
She makes a good foil for bad things to happen to or around her, such as the battery episode, where Rick’s UFO battery is a tiny universe, so while Rick and Morty travel inside to fix it, Summer is locked inside as the UFO’s defenses brutally slaughter anyone who comes by (primarily men) to “keep Summer safe,” parodying the average cunt-pedestalizing (aka gynocentric) society that treats men as completely disposable and even the most bland teenage girl as the holy grail. Again, this isn’t my assumption here, this is the show mirroring real life attitudes through satire. As most MRAs and MGTOW will tell you, they don’t hate women, they just recognize that society for the past several millennia have treated women the same way birds treat eggs, and for primarily the same reason. So while Summer is made fun of, she’s not a target of scorn.

This leads to a few awkward truths about the MGTOW idea, and this is one of the most important ones: MGTOW is not a locked down strict dogmatic ideology. MGTOW can be loser hermits, or fit buff guys who “date” girls but refuse to engage in a permanent relationship. Some take on pick up artist tactics, some just philosophize, some are just lonely, some are “incels” or involuntarily celibate (no one wants to have sex with them), some are republican or libertarian, some could be communist, some could be socialist. Some are indifferent to women, some are pure outright misogynists, some have female friends. They are not constrained by some sort of MGTOW ideology that cannot be questioned. It is only their activity of not getting married that defines them, opting out of the current female-privileging legal system and society that gives men no rights or no benefits (mathematically proven, if you get mad at this that only means it’s true and you hate the truth for debunking your lies), and if you observe the marriage as seen in Rick and Morty, you get a good understanding of why one might avoid marriage, and we’ll get a bit more into that when we get to Rick.
One aberration I’d like to address is the “feminist planet” episode. Most of that was making fun of women, not out of hatred but just for fun. However, one reference is made to “women being paid less than men,” a popular feminist lie. It’s important to remember that the President of the United States said this lie on national television not too soon before this very episode was made. If the president says it, especially Obama, people generally refuse to question it, no matter how false the lie is. Added to which, this is possibly an example of Dan Harmon’s interfering with writing.

Morty: Just as Summer is the average girl, Morty is the average boy. Not particularly smart, and frequently distracted by hormones that are encouraging the breeding process, just as Rick points out in that episode where they fuck up the entire planet:
The chemical in question is called oxytocin, which is referenced later in this same episode, and it can be found in common nasal sprays. It is responsible for making you feel the emotion of love, which, as described, is simply a chemical reaction used for procreation.

Morty is especially ordinary in the Shinji Ikari sense:
He’s a young teenage boy who has the entire world on his shoulders, all expectations are on him to be smart or competent or capable, and he’s too young to be able to be any of those in any realistic sense, while also too young to be in any realistic position to say no to anyone. Just as everyone demanded Shinji pilot the (fucking) Eva, and how it was a metaphor for men not only being disposable while having the weight of the world on them, but also the first thing they use to guilt Shinji into doing what they want is to show a helpless wounded female (secretly mocking the delusion that feminists pretend they would want that level of agency where they’ll be ripped apart and crippled in a hospital bed while still being expected to get into the fucking Eva, while in reality no feminist ever would be willing to do that, just ask a woman if they’d be willing to be drafted to fight in World War 1 where they’d probably die alone thousands of miles from their family). While Rei is wounded, they have no real expectation of a wounded Rei to pilot the mech, they expect to cart her out in front of Shinji to manipulate him to doing what they want him to do, just as society manipulates men by saying “if you don’t do it, a woman might be hurt.”

Shinji Ikari was merely a symbol though, in its own way a satire of male expectation in a female-privileging world that puts the entire slime hole-having gender on a pedestal. Eva presents a twisted apocalyptic world where even girls have to be responsible for saving the world (from Japan where they don’t have gynocentric feminists, but that’s an entire other issue), but the girls save the world almost entirely via personal dysfunction (the “absolute terror field” or AT field being a literal protective barrier in the show, while in real life it’s a reference to autism and how autistic children place the barrier between themselves and the big uncomfortable outside world). The world treats Shinji with scorn more than anyone else because Shinji doesn’t want to sacrifice himself for their desires in exchange for pain and suffering and a strict absence of love. Girls only manipulate his desire for love or affection so they can abuse him further, or to try to get him to do what society wants.
In Rick and Morty, Morty’s responsibilities are more realistic, but no less terrifying, considering what Rick is constantly putting him through. Even from the very first episode, Rick, the mad scientist, drags Morty along just so he can smuggle giant alien fruit seeds into Morty’s rectum (seeds that are about the size of Morty’s head). Later, as they go through interdimensional or intergalactic (same diff) customs, they’re going to get caught and Rick demands Morty gun down several guards, again putting all the pressure and responsibility on a young teenage boy who is in no way ready to handle any of this.
This is also reminiscent of another Shinji-type character, Butters from South Park, where the world is constantly going wrong around him, and the world punishes him for the world’s own mistakes. Best example of this would be the episode where Cartman (the fat kid) gets the mistaken impression that he’s dead and a ghost (Cartman does something that pisses off everyone so they intentionally ignore him), and Butters is too naive to know any better, so Butters thinks he’s capable of seeing ghosts. His parents, knowing Butters is delusional, take him to doctors who assume that Butters is suffering from some sort of past trauma, and in typical South Park fashion, they test to discover the trauma by shoving a giant vibrator up Butters’ ass.
Again, the disposability of not only the male as a person but his very mind. Can you even imagine someone treating a woman like this? It is often thought of as a hate crime or misogyny. When it’s done to a male, it can be laughed at (in a rare exception, the comedy in this specific scene is pointed at society for abusing someone to “find abuse,” and not the disposable male).

And this leads to the ultimate male. The practically elderly version of Shinji Ikari:
Rick: The weight of perhaps the entire galaxy or multiverse weighed on his shoulders in some sort of anti-globalist war that it’s implied the staunch individualist, Rick, lost long ago. Now this is going to take on a lot of different aspects of being a man, most of which are confronted and addressed through MGTOW philosophy.
I would say a lot of these are assumptions, but only because the backstory remains hinted at, with only two seasons of Rick and Morty having aired, and the third season appearing to be a complete disaster in the waiting as television veteranl Dan Harmon has attempted to wrench control away from apparent cartoon troll (”troll” taking the traditional definition here, which is someone who tells unwelcomed truths to people who become angry by those truths) Justin Roiland.

First, Rick is a traumatized war veteran. The world weighed on him, and fell off his shoulders. It’s mentioned throughout the second season that Rick is a drug addict (snorting alien crystals and weird shit, as well as being a completely garden variety functional alcoholic) because of old pains that trouble him and possibly always will. Most fiction, TV shows and movies and such, treat war veterans as deranged unstable psychos who can often be villains. Rick is a more complex character, who certainly seems more apathetic to suffering, perhaps as shot through a filter of being an embittered realist (knowing that a micro universe will choose to power his car battery because if they don’t he’ll have to dispose of the battery, destroying their entire micro universe). He appears to be living in hiding from some sort of intergalactic interdimensional faction, possibly consisting of (or associated with) alternate versions of himself, who he fought a war against and lost. Again, while the show uses his character and eccentricity for humor, it doesn’t do it without some measure of sympathy, although it’s really borderline within the second season because Rick does a handful of things that can be classified as evil.
On top of this, Rick is a genius. Crazy scientist, yes, but also a genius scientist, which is a strong expectation for men, even among women and feminists, they demand that men do a lot of the backbreaking work as well as the high level innovations. Feminism, more than ever in today’s society, has been proven to desire doublethink, the final nail in the coffin of any failed ideology, whether it be conservatism or liberalism.

Rick is also someone who apparently abandoned his daughter, Beth. Was it to fight the war? Is Rick an example of a victim of the White Feather society? Or was he just young and impulsive? Again, just as MGTOW’s support a man living for himself, most MGTOW will tell you that if a man has had children (which, in today’s western society, he should try to avoid as best he can for the purposes of not becoming a slave to the government), he should do his best to try to raise them, even within a society that punishes men for trying to raise their children, and takes away the man’s legal rights to see or protect their children, even from an abusive mother (statistically, a child is more likely to be abused by a mother, and children of single mothers are responsible for the majority of all crime, and no, this isn’t an opinion, it’s a verified quantifiable objective fact). It’s possible that Rick was just negligent and left his family, but considering the other mysteries hinted at within his past, there could be a lot of reasons. It does seem evident that he only returned to go into hiding.
Rick is the literal definition of a man going his own way, not only proven throughout the show, but in the episode where they go to Blips and Chits and play a VR/AR brain wave accessing game called Roy, where you play a guy named Roy. Morty plays him as having an average life, working at a carpet store, getting cancer and going into remission and then going back to work at the carpet store.
When Rick plays the Roy game, he displays nothing but full MGTOW behavior. He lives off the grid (what MGTOW refer to as “ghosting” within society) and is clearly unburdened by the legal system but also by the female-pedestalizing society.

His MGTOW behavior is also clearly displayed by his lack of romantic commitments, his borderline narcissistic individualism, still existing as a sort of extreme parody of himself, because this is after all a comedic cartoon show. However, he also displays some tendencies of the cycle that led him to his problems, as he visits his own traumas onto Morty. Rick sees bureaucrats as less than human or non-sentient, and thinks nothing of them being killed, an extreme (though not completely unjustified) flavor of anarchism, or at least anarcho-capitalist (the less dumb version of anarchism).
Now, it’s easy to say that Rick is evil because of his selfishness. It’s even easier to say he’s evil because of the harm he’s done (the whole Cronenberg world, which you could technically blame on Morty’s desire to have a female attracted to him, even Shinji Ikari never fucked up an entire world just for the chance to kiss a red headed toilet thot). Those are a result of his actions as opposed to his philosophy in life. A man can live off the grid without harming others, or he can do so while harming others. The show doesn’t necessarily make a judgment call about the philosophy, again because it’s a comedy show (at least until Dan Harmon gets more control). Most often, it’s Rick’s mad science that gets people into trouble, as a result of an uncaring universe around them that is also only looking to procreate by laying eggs in your stomach or using you as sustainable energy.

Werner Herzog has a funny cameo in one episode, but more interesting is what Werner Herzog has said about existence in general, that it’s based almost entirely on murder, universally, regardless of human interaction. All animals are constantly murdering each other, because they need to in order to survive, and humans, being animals, are no different except in the pretense that our species is supposed to be beyond that behavior (though we’re obviously not, and it can be argued that we really shouldn’t be). For a medium portion, we’ve made the pretense of superiority into a reality, at least among each other. We treat killing each other as a tragedy so that we discourage ourselves from doing it (sometimes), but our species still wouldn’t be able to get far without killing other animals, and certainly not without killing plants. At least to within a measure, as if we killed each other constantly we’d be mostly gone, and so would everything else, so there is always a limit to universal murder.
As Jack Handy once said, if trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

But what if it's even deeper than that? Planting false opposition to garner support for your side is a tactic that is known about and used to this day. But it stops being as effective when more and more people know about it, like feminists sending themselves fake harassment or Jewish funded organizations (badly) drawing swastikas to 'prove' white racism.
It's possible that these far right crazy messages originate from moderate right posters attempting to create the impression of a meddling leftist group to push people right in opposition to these so called meddlers. Astroturfing Astroturfing opposition as it were.
Logically why would we stop there, but I'm pretty sure 4 levels of opinion (in this topics case, left impersonating right who are impersonating left who are impersonationing the right wing OP) would collapse down into a simpler two level left impersonating right, since that many levels of impersonation is difficult to maintain and gives the same result as the normal two level opinion.

Upon further research it appears the terms I'm looking for are double agent and triple agent, mexcept purely by misinformation rather than actual infiltration.
A theoretical quadruple agent would have little need to exist when a double agent is much safer. But for swaying public opinion, I guess they could exist.
