Antagonists are a bunch of idiots who don't seem to understand how to apply their technology (VERY important that no one ever considers applications of technology, nor thinks of how others could apply their technology in different ways. Otherwise the fans may stop thinking about the genius philosophy of the show and start thinking about the worldbuilding!

Rick and Morty reminds me of a time when I was 13 and I thought EVA was deep anime.
Then I grew into an adult and realize it's complete shit that tries to be smart and make me feel smart.
I hate Rick not because the intentionally made him a psychotic asshole but they made him a psychotic asshole that you're suppose to feel sorry for.

The only part that annoys me about R&M is that all the excessive gore, nihilism, and violence isn't considered "edgy" because the show's "ironic" and "bright and cartoony"
