One word...

Post your favourite character

There was never another man that could peeve the Sheev.

Something interesting finally happen in the Poe comic?

This can't be real

Un-ironically him.

If you have a valid explanation, I will accept your opinion.

I tried

I fucking love it

Vader would wreck mauls shit in .0001 seconds, it would be a pretty shit fight

this
*force chokes maul*
*slice*
nothin personel gramps

>Valid explanation

>Because of his role in abetting the rise of the Empire, he was once again exiled by his people. After the Battle of Endor and the rise of the New Republic, he performed in the streets of Theed as a clown and street performer...

>Binks entertained the children [of Theed] by performing numerous antics including wagging his tongue, juggling glombo shells, spitting fish up in the air and catching them, dancing around, and swallowing and flushing out water through his ears.

>In 5 ABY, Binks encountered a young refugee boy named Mapo while performing in Theed's Plaza of the Catalan. Mapo was a ward at a nearby orphanage who had been badly burned after the Empire had bombed his home on the fuel depot Golus Station.

>When Mapo asked Binks if he could teach him to be a clown, Binks gratefully accepted Mapo's request and the boy's friendship

Is that valid enough for you?

Slight tweak.

Saved.

Yep. It all comes down to personal preference.

opinions are like assholes, everyones got one

>emperor dubs

Had to fix FB's helmet aswell should be good now

>wwn see two SSDs duking it out in nu-canon.

What are some things/characters that need to come back from Legends?

I would like to see Admiral Daala, and by extension the Maw Instillation, become canon.

Does she get to fuck tarkin

because Tarkin is for ________me

The First Order has the Eclipse and the Sovereign Latitudes have that hijacked SSD.

Maybe the NR already took the pirates down and hopefully stashed the vessel somewhere instead of decommisioning or the pirate republic still exists and Maz recruits them for the Resistance (why else keep that useless character around when Luke's back in the picture).

Either way, we could easily get an SSD vs. SSD in IX.

Vader fags cancerous as always

I hope she wants to fuck Ezra as well.

>literally force jesus

>lel he'd be SO underpowered against the king of the jobbers

Barriss is for Ahsoka only.

But what if Barriss is the Second Sister

Her initials would be /ss/ as well.

She ain't interested in the first 's' user.

Can I at least ship Barriss and SS? (pre Mauling)

Fockin noice!

This is acceptable.

though I'm sure she's there with both of them. Having a fourway of a lifetime.

...

>orange buttcheeks sandwhiched between 2 pairs of yellow buttcheeks

Emperor Palpatine, always was and always will be.

Supreme Chancellor, Emperor, sharp-witted, well-educated, all-powerful Sith Lord, ambitious. Misunderstood hero.

Praise Sheev.

Henceforth, you will be known as Darth _____

Pre-Order 66 SS was PURE

Perhabs, but what about SS post-Order 66 until Malachor.

She has been a naughty girl.

Also the /swco/ colored Jedi SS looks cuter.

Whoops, meant to reply to

>we will never get Clone Wars episodes about the Inquisitors during their time as Jedi

>George Lucas Interview On 60 Minutes About Star Wars Episode III

I miss George
How could we let him leave?

>I'm not worried at all. They haven't liked any of them really. And they have especially haven't liked the last two so hey it can't get any worse

>The point is it's like if you paint your house white and somebody comes over and says that should be a green house well fine but I wanted to paint it white and I don't think there's anything wrong with white and I don't think there's anything wrong with me for painting it white, maybe it should have been a green house, but I wanted it to be a white house

We will never get someone as based as him ;-;

Based George.

How much weaker was Anakin as Vader in comparison to his time as a Jedi Knight? Didn't the suit cripple him or something?

>9:49
>"There is no Episode Seven"

Pretty much how I feel. TFA is just a glorified fanfiction by a jewish hack :^)

Wasn't it based on some of George's ideas though?

But how is Rogue One?

There is probably a large difference between George's Ideas and what JJ delivered.

TFA is the only Star Wars movie that had me leaving the theater with a disgusted grunt instead of a happy "fuck yeah Star Wars".

At first I thought perhaps I had just grown out of it but then Rogue One came along and it was the same "fuck yeah Star Wars" as with episodes 1-6.

It's great.

TFA is a Star Wars movie made for people who neither like nor care about Star Wars

Rogue One is for people who are fans of the series

From the sounds of it, George had more of Luke in the movie. Like he had the role in the story Han ended up with. But those versions kept having script trouble because Luke overshadowed the new cast entirely, hence the switch to Han and the search for Skywalker storyline. Also at this point in early development, Kylo was Luke's son and Poe and Finn were basically one "Han Solo's son who inherited the Falcon" character.

Starkiller Base was also entirely an invention of JJ's and really, more then anything else, that's the root of TFA's problems.

I don't think Lucas had a definitive version of EPVII, just several concepts lying around. I also heard Luke was supposed to search for his sister in the sequels but due to time restraints Lucas just made Leia his sister hence why it comes across so awkward.

That's more or less the result of his divorce. Like that whole experience left him going "Fuck it, this is the last Star Wars, gonna resolve all the plot points in one go instead of four movies and be done with it because I'm going to blame this fucking series for ruining my life in this way".

if you remove starkiller base and just make it that the resistance is attacking the FO main base the film improves tenfold

Nah he was more powerful and learned from his mistakes. I've always assumed the 80% of Sidious meant that by the time of ROTJ that 100% Vader=80% of Sidious's full power.

Actually it was the same in Legends he took on about half a dozen Jedi by himself and slaughtered them.

Anyone have problems with MEGA download? Mine is stuck on Queue and I haven't downloaded anything in weeks to pass the limit.

Literally everything you said there makes me think that George's version would have been objectively better.

I really honestly suspect Lucasfilm shares this sentiment. I honestly trust that they're going to try their best to make 8 closer to Lucas's vision.

>Dave Filoni drew concept art for Lucas's version of TFA, where we would have been introduced to Han on Felucia
>We will never see this Lucas/Filoni vision on the big screen because JJ wanted to rush Han non-nonsensically into TFA with the "yer a ded mon" scene

Actually pisses me off thinking about this stuff. To this day I still don't understand how or why JJ thought rehashing ANH for "the new age" was what Star Wars fans wanted.

And yeah, I know some people think it was a necessary evil to play it safe and ensure the ST starts off with a huge success, but do you really think they would have made any less money when you basically replace the Starkiller Base shit for Luke kicking ass? Showing a few seconds of a Luke action scene in the trailer might have even got MORE people to see TFA on launch.

>TFA is a Star Wars movie made for people who neither like nor care about Star Wars
>Rogue One is for people who are fans of the series

You guys nailed it. TFA felt like it was made for the normiest "fans" possible, the guys who are quicker to remember references and sketches they saw on saturday night tv, than the actual movies. Rogue One just felt like an honest piece of Star Wars media from Lucasfilm.

TFA feels like a slightly better marvel movie

I'm excited for 8/9 since Lucasfilm has a lot more direct control over it

Holy shit, I never knew that some Anakin and Obi-Wan scenes were CGI.

>I know some people think it was a necessary evil to play it safe and ensure the ST starts off with a huge success
I hate it when people use this excuse and this is why the film industry is shit and why they fucked up. A film should make money because it was good. When you go make a film and rely on nothing but references, nostalgia pandering, cameos, quips, and copying the plot and iconic scenes just to be successful, then you're a shit film maker. They literally could've filmed a pile of shit, slap Star Wars onto it and it would still make a lot of money either way.
At least George never did it for the money and never intended on making it big as it got

Probably because JJ is a specialist in rehashing old ideas and reskinning them as "new" via a few tweaks to avoid being fully plagiaristic. It's been his MO for almost two decades now.

I'd say a below average marvel movie actually. More like Age of Ultron then something like Winter Soldier or Civil War.

This may be my autism but did it bother anyone else how '''modern''' or block bustery the dialogue felt.

>You got a boyfriend, need a boyfriend?
>IM IN CHARGE BOOYAH
>Haaan Sooolooo, where is my boyfriend Chewie?

Thank you for that mental image JJ.

Post your favourite lightsabers.

I felt the same way and it bothered me.
>I'll show you the darkside.
>I'm in charge, I'm in charge, now!
Some lines seemed really forced to me.

I like /ss/'s variant more

But Gungi has the kinosaber

It looks kinda cool as well

If Vader had 80% of Sheevs strength how the fuck did he lose to Luke, that would mean that he was at least Yoda-tier and Yoda demonstratably btfo Luke

That's not how SW fights work.

Take the Inkies for example. They are scrubs but they probably killed hundreds of Jedi because they caught them off guard with their spinny cheat-mode sabers.

Vader probably got overconfident and bottled it as Dark Siders tend to do.

Do you feel in charge?

Vader lost to Luke because he was emotionally overwhelmed, not because he was outskilled.

He saw his son lose his shit, much like he had in the past, and he realized that this is never what he could have wanted.

This, combined with having watched Luke then turn away from such a destructive path, is what makes Vader heave the Sheev.

Vader wasn't 80% of Sheev's strength, he was 80% of his maximum potential with the cybernetics keeping him down, he could have ripped Sheev a new one at any minute (and in fact eventually did) but for the fact he was so totally pussy-whipped by Palpatine. Also Luke's just that good.

...

>heave the Sheev

My Nigga

How do you /ss/-fags feel about the idea that we may be seeing her in the upcoming Vader comic?

Let her come back actually competent instead of brain damaged, too.

>Also Luke's just that good.
No longer canon though, Luke isn't a god-king of the Force in the nucanon

...

...

NANI

Ehh, always found this one kinda boring. It's just Anakins and Obi-Wans fused together

Cut it out user, this is a basic-speaking Besalisk Cooking Forum thank you very much

>all the Vaderfag asspain when he, Rey and Snoke are all revealed to be Plagueis experiments

Are you implying that Plageuis is still alive? And yet he still isn't Snoke?

Also, Vader was already an experiment/accident. It's not like Plagueis himself was intending to grow a new apprentice from scratch.

I'm not saying he's EU tier overpowered I'm saying he's powerful enough to defeat Vader, because that's what Yoda and Obi-Wan thought, and what the movie showed.

It'll be a tragedy.

>Also, Vader was already an experiment/accident.

Not canon.. YET

no he's still dead

but that's why Snoke knew how to contact Sheev

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

There's nothing to suggest he was intentionally created by Plagueis either though. Truth is, we have no clue what ACTUALLY happened, or why.

Just "he was trying to create life, and woah hey look at that, Anakin popped out of nowhere on Tatooine, what a coincidence"

I'll burn this whole board down if that's true. You guys will have to move to /swtv/

I think Rey having no parents is the most likely outcome

But I thought that it was canon that Anakin was the Forces reaction to Plagueis and Sidious fucking its shit up with the Dark Side, so isn't he already a Plagueis experiment?

It's heavily implied but it hasn't been outright stated in canon yet

my question is whether or not Snoke is another clone thing

Will people ACTUALLY be angry if Vader is given a concrete origin beyond "idk, magic, lol"
