>not Tara Strong
PRAISE BE

>TAS style
>not shitty New Adventures or Justice League

I'm interested.

NO MULLET NO BUY

Normies and casuals will be pissed

That's clearly New Adventures Batman, user.

Wait, why doesn't Sorkin do the voice any more?

Hopes deleted

>not Tara Strong
I'm alive.

Retired.

She's old and croaky now, sounds more like her mother.

>bringing back the DCAU

noooo they'll ruin it

That is new adventures idiot

>not Tara Strong

noice

>noooo they'll ruin it
Don't act like it's perfect.

Can you blame Bruce? I mean look at her.

>Melissa Rauch
BAZOOPERS

How about a link?

>More Harley Quinn
This shit needs to stop.

>Melissa Raunch

The tiny chick from Big Bang Theory?

Man, Harley gonna be squeaky as fuck if she does her voice from that.

Can you not read?

Classic Harley is welcome.

Man Nightwing looks pretty silly in that style.

Timm was back for the killing joke and that sucked, DCAU is terribly overrated and the best parts can all be attributed to Dini

ANYONE but Tara, she doesn't even try to sound like Arleen.

Also, they got Loren Lester back for Dick, I guess he has nothing better to do these days.

>The DCAU is terribly overrated

Please tell us what is better and explain why.

No.

Character designs and story direction were Timm.

Why don't they just get Hynden Walch permanently? She's perfect desu.

>Timm's back
Only if Paul Dinni is part of it too.

I actually like the New Adventure design too.

Bad haircut

>that Nightwing design

IT'S SHIT

As if you wouldn't

I actually like her, so fuck you.

No Tara Strong, thank fuck.

The mullet was shit, Murakami.

Why the Tara strong hate?

Melissa Rauch:
youtube.com/watch?v=6RiPxv8elAg

It's more or less his TNBA design, minus the mullet.

Sexual frustration

At least this one has no mullet.

I guess Tim saw those Robley Quinn pictures

I knew something looked off.

I think her voice is way too high for Harley. I'd argue that it's really just terrible as she has a habit of being really grating.

As much as I love Conroy as Batman, I think his recent work as the character has been pretty lacking

>saw those Robley Quinn pictures
iirc, he made her suit a slut up on JL gods and monsters because of how she was being represented

Why? It's not like you could even tell?

The Caesar is also pretty bad desu. I think Timm's dislike for Nightwing results in all these bad haircuts.

Tara Strong herself is fine, but her Harley is fucking terrible. And what's worse, people in comment sections and forums are actually starting to believe she's the original.

>inb4 Troy Baker as the Joker

So you guys think they'll bring back DCAU Nightwing's sullen, serious personality or will they make him a bit more fun?

Nightwing eventually grew out of his I'M NOT YOU OLD MAN phase in that show, as I recall. At the very least he learned to be a little more civil around Bruce.

I think so too

The fast food in the batmobile is a step in the fun direction.

He's eating fast food in the batmobile. What do you think.

Exactly what I was thinking. What male Batman character is he gonna do next?

Judging by the bottom picture in the OP a more fun one.

Will they explain why Bruce became such a prick between the end of BTAS and TNBA?

There was a new kind of mean in him.

>Timm is a hack, baby.

FTFY. Dini should have been the one writing rhe story. Timm wihtout a leash is just recipe for disaster

Maybe he's eating in the Batmobile because he knows it's against the rules, and he's still not over the fact his adoptive father is slamming his ex.

I suppose the larger question is: is this just going to be in the DCAU style, or is this actually going to be set in the DCAU?

Remember, they made that shitty "Superman: Brainiac Attacks" movie years ago, and it was done in STAS' style, but it was a totally different universe.

There's no explanation necessary, years of fighting crime's going to take its toll until he achieves ultimate bitterness as an old man and takes pleasure in the death of his opponents.

You're just assblasted that there's no Harlivy for you.

He already did the Joker in AoA. He was pretty good.

I like Strong but her Harley is crap it's like a cheap impersonation of Sorkin.

Y'all gonna see when this results in another Killing Joker, it's gonna be shit and I -- for one -- don't wanna see it

The art style looks off. Like, really badly.

We're never going to stop getting Harley shit, are we?

The push is more obnoxious than Deadpool or pre MCU wolverine at this point.

I just want BruDick moments. Timm please

Wasn't Suicide Squad Harley one of the most popular costumes of Halloween 2016? The Harley hype is real.

>Currently two of the most popular characters in DC's arsenal, this summer will see the debut of the animated film Batman And Harley Quinn. Executive produced by Bruce Timm, who goes back to his classic style heralded in Batman: The Animated Series, this is an original story featuring the reluctant team-up of Batman, Nightwing and Harley Quinn to try and stop a global catastrophe caused by Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue, AKA the Plant-Master.

>Returning to voice Batman is Kevin Conroy, who first played the role on Batman: The Animated Series and most recently voiced him for the animated film Batman: The Killing Joke. Loren Lester is Nightwing, and, like Conroy, first voiced the character (as Robin) in B:TAS. Taking on the part of Harley Quinn is Melissa Rauch, best known as Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowsi-Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory.

>"I love that Harley is a badass and, beyond that, that she uses her humor as another weapon in her arsenal," comments Rauch. "She knows just how to diffuse a situation with her humor, and how to incite a situation with her sarcasm. It's a dream role."

>To capture the voice of the character, she adds, "I knew Harley had a higher pitched tone, and a bit of a New York accent — and I come from a New Jersey family where everyone could be former gun molls. So I wanted to give a nod to my background without being as shrill. In all honesty, I used to speak exactly like that — my acting school professors really worked the accent out of me. So it was fun to find those tones and accent again."

> this is an original story featuring the reluctant team-up of Batman, Nightwing and Harley Quinn to try and stop a global catastrophe caused by Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue, AKA the Plant-Master
>Harley vs Ivy
Holy shit this is too good. Shippers BTFO.

Timm is more likely to make them cuck each other or something. He kind of hates Dick so don't expect much.

Harley sells like hotcakes, user. They're not pushing her, the market wants her just that much.

>Harley is a badass

fundamental misunderstanding of the character

wew this is going to be shit

>Lester believes this film will go a long way in answering one of the most frequently-asked questions thrown in his direction. "So many fans have asked when there will be another Batman: The Animated Series, and this film really captures that sensibility and essence that people loved about the original series. That makes perfect sense when you know Bruce Timm was at the helm of both. The difference is we're not restricted by the networks for this film, so we can take the story and characters in more mature areas, and explore more about them as three-dimensional human beings with human feelings and human desires that we often couldn’t explore in the series."

>Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) voices Poison Ivy, having previously voiced Lana Lang in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Lois Lane in Justice League: Gods And Monsters. Providing the voice for Swamp Thing is John DiMaggio (Ben 10).

>Additional cast members include Eric Bauza, Rob Paulsen, Robin Atkin Downes, Mindy Sterling, Trevor Devall.

>Batman And Harley Quinn, an original animated movie, will be released this summer through digital download, Blu-ray and DVD.

Voice actor isn't the writer, who for some reason hasn't been revealed. I doubt it's Timm by himself, he's never done that.

F U C K

go away timm, your movie sucked

I think DC Universe Online was officially her last VA work

Wow, already triggered?

>no Tara Strong
Thank God for small miracles.

That's my secret, Cap. I'm always triggered

It's funny because whatever heroic character development she has in this is ultimately irrelevant because she'll still canonically help Joker kidnap and torture Tim Drake down the line

Mask of the Phantasm and Return of the Joker were pretty good. Not including Sub-Zero in there since he didn't work on it, and seethed at the ending where Nora was cured, and immediately went to work to ruin Victor's life (resulting in that TNBA episode airing before Sub-Zero had even been released)

1) It's not DCAU
2) You can't "ruin" it because the good stuff already exists and it had it's fair share of bad stuff

Oh poor user how much you have missed

Really? I feel like it's pretty much the perfect situation to add to their romance.

Dini wrote Return of the Joker. Mask of the Phantasm was Dini, Burnett, Reaves, and Pasko.

Timm had his producer role as always. Timm buckling under studio pressure to censor the movie is what led to a temporary Timm/Dini falling out, which is why Dini wasn't involved with Justice League other than writing a couple of episodes.

NOT MUH HARLEY

it's not canon to DCAU

The mullet is stupid. The bird looks stupid. The generic mask is stupid.

TNBA Nightwing is just a really bad design. Needs the finger strips to break up all the black, I don't know why Timm is so against it. Even Under The Hood fucked it up.

You guys ain't asking the important questions.Porn of all three together when?

We don't even know if it takes place in the DCAU, guys.

>Robin Atkin Downes
he's coming too?

because it costs more money to animate

FUCK OOF, TIMM

...
